Brush DJ has been developed by a dentist for anyone wanting to reduce their risk of gum disease and tooth decay. The app helps keep your smile healthy and breath fresh. Also, by using this app you will find new songs and rediscover your music collection

Brush DJ works with either a manual or electric toothbrush and allows you to set reminders to: •Change your toothbrush/brush head every 3 months •Brush at least twice a day •Floss/clean interdentally every day •Use a mouthrinse at a different time to toothpaste •When next to visit dentist, hygienist, orthodontist or dental therapist
You can choose the colour of the screen and timer to match your toothbrush, bathroom or just pick your favourite colour combinations. There are short animated videos showing how to carry basic oral hygiene tasks such as flossing, using and interdental brush and a manual toothbrush. The latest evidence-based age specific information is given from the Public Health England toolkit ‘Delivering Better Oral Health’. Free updates will be available whenever new oral health information is released.

Great! I've never been more consistent about brushing my teeth. The only suggestion is notifications should have varying levels of annoyance if you need more motivation! Like one that is more of an alarm than a reminder. It would also be nice to access another music app like pandora or YouTube music if you don't have Spotify premium. But otherwise, great app and great concept. I love the ragtime song :) Thank you!!
Love it so far! Can add my own voice reminder notes to play while I brush which I pre record positive mantras so it's great! I really would love a calendar though to see my progress and perhaps a streak reward system like duo lingo with stars for progress and motivation to brush more often. Having depression makes it very hard to do simple things and this is a great tool/start but with the calender/reward scheme it would be perfect! Thanks!
Still not working properly, it can't use my own music, which is disappointing. The music is stored on my SD card. I tried it with music stored on my phone as well. I contacted support about this issue months ago and no solution could be found. I was told that they would try to fix it in an update, but so far, no luck. Tried on a total of three different Samsung devices, it doesn't work on any of them.
My daughter has been using this app for a while when she out grew the more kiddy ones. We download some songs from our librarie's fregal subscription. However they cancelled the subscription and we got bored with our selections, so I finally upgraded my Spotify subscription. However I can only seem to open one playlist to use? I don't get a choice. Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? We also can't pick a specific song? I'm not as concerned about that though.
I refuse to give a one-star just because I didnt have any good luck, other people say it works so great. I'm just going to leave it as a three-star because I don't believe somebody deserves 1 start and now if the person was responding in a rude manner then I can see that but just I think it just has at least three even though I was not able to get it to connect to my Spotify or any music PS the built-in music is terrible
9 year old says "10 out of 5 stars, time flies when you are having fun". Free of "behaviorism", this app has no digital rewards like the pokemon app that we tried and hated. It is just a fun and functional app without being overbearing or controlling, which is a refreshing change. Really great for helping us not to forget to brush, use mouthwash on busy days. It can also remind you to get a new toothbrush every few months. Colors are customizable. Cheerful music too.
My kids like the app and the Brazilian Stadium music. We would like it if we could use it with Amazon music as well as the other services, as we only have Amazon music. Additional colours for timer as 'rewards' could be cool? It used to have more neon ones. Good developments though. Thanks
Will not let me play one playlist on spotify that i use all the time. however, since there are some songs that i do not have on spotify it make it easy to flick between spotify and the music app that came on my phone depending on my mood either in the morning or in the evening
I was recommended this app by my dentist and its brilliant there are no adds and I love the fact you can customise the timer colors! The Spotify link is nice too. Amazing I would recommend
App just freezes and shuts down any time i try to select a song. When using their own songs i am given the same sound over again so wont be using this anymore
Absolutely brilliant app! Love listening to my favourite Spotify songs while brushing my teeth.
One of my favorite parts of this app is the daily reminders. I am NOT in the habit of brushing my teeth regularly, and I hope having my phone remind me will help me build that habit.
very good application. i dont know anything about this app unlti i search online how to make toothbrushing more fun! I never thought that the boring thing of brushing your teeth can be really entertaining!
I use this for the music I replay the stadium song alot and it helps me not overthink while doing bathroom ADLs but can be used for any 2minute long task.
It's a good guide for your brushing techniques. Assists you in maintaining healthy teeth.
My daughter liked picking out a background color, but other than a one minute timer, there wasn't much interaction or entertainment
Fun to brush. My 4 years old daughter have fun and brush it better than before by using the app.

I love this app but it's downloading too slow. I need to brush my teeth now cuz I'm heading out the door. 9:00 a.m. In a good way.

Great app for teenagers! My 13 and 15 yo will actually use it bc it's not an app for little kids, so it's wonderful!! They like the music options too. Suggestion for future: I'd really like it if I could see the days I brush on a calendar. Then even get my whole family involved, and have a healthy competition going with the kids on who brushed more that week! But I know you're actively working on it and so far so good. Keep it up!
