BSNL WINGS
This service will facilitate calling facility to the subscribers even with poor cellphone connectivity. In the most multi-storey building and large complex, where the subscribers struggle to make calls, with Wings they will be capable of making calls if they have an internet connection, no matter from whichever operator it is.
Subscribers will only need to download the Wings application on their mobile phone to make use of this facility and pay a one-time fee to be eligible to use Wings for a year.

Honestly this app is as horrible as it can be, every few mins the moment screen is turned off it disconnects from the server and then does not connect back. The UI is good but execution is very very poor and no proper qa has been done before releasing it to play store. More to add to it the device or the app name also conflicts with the cSip voip app that is an open source app on playstore, if you have csip installed this app does not install.. Developers have tried to copy paste the code. Sa
This app is really a disappointing one because it is not working. No incoming and outgoing calls work properly. Moreover, every time, this app gets hang. Repeated contacts for assistance with BSNL customer care service yield no useful advice. BSNL launched it with much prestige but doesn't come up with the expectation of the user.
For outgoing calls it is good... But the app have some Incomming issue... Sometime it gave announcement that the number is not registered, ringtone volume is too low, some time app get hang as a result it became impossible to reciave a call... Overall call maturing and call quality is very good.. Developer plz provide some update to resolve such issue... Thanks
Just doesn't work. I have been using this service for a year now. Their official page shows support for grandstream wave app but not for this official app. I have managed to place a few calls. However the number does not stay registered at all times so incoming calls never seem to come thru. I called customer care of bsnl and the support rep had no clue as to what this wings service is all about. Seems like a proof of concept that we are paying for.
Incoming and outgoing calls not working. Settings seem to be fine and shows green. Will uninstall and switch to a different service provider. Was a good initiative. Need to focus on ensuring it works as expected. Audio calling should work
service is good.,, voice call working fine., i tried with bsnl 3g,jio 4g and wifi hotspot all working fine.,, but why do i have to install Granstream wave for video call which has bugs and not reliable, granstream wave was not functioning properly in my wings number so i had to uninstalled it.,.now im using only bsnl wings app for voice call only., please integrate video calls facility within this app only and it will be complete and i hope more customer will start using it., thank you.
App features are really great.. call quality and configuration settings like international roaming are better and simpler than zoiper or any other SIP app. I would recommend. however some bugs there.. guess with the latest build issues like improper background running will be resolved.
Sometimes it malfunctions. When dialling a number it is showing incoming call and getting disconnected immediately. When a call is incoming it is showing the screen and getting disconnected immediately. This problem is remaining until app is restarted fully.
Need Some Improvment 1) Without Open App you can receive call , 2) Incoming call ring volume very very slow, 3) MNP option for exciting number to wings number. For Dial call you have option that you can go network coverage area then dial call, for incoming call you have no option, Netowrk Problem not for only dial call it's also for incoming call. So I want receive call without open app Like Whatsapp call.Consider On my point and update on app It's may be game changer for Bsnl or tel ind.
Extremely poor service, sms now deactivated ie sms service is no more available now, never getting incoming calls and most of the app got hanged during outgoing calls. Most important is not helpdesk is available even in local exchange or office. This is to be improved.
Very worst app. I have paid one year subscription with ISD deposit of Rs.2000 to use in abroad. But I could not make or receive a single call. Waste of time and money. No replies for my mails. Customer care also not supporting. Go for better one. Launched in hurry with so many bugs. One more failure attempt from BSNL. 19th century app..Avoid...
worst app. expected more stability than free clients. but totally disappointed. not properly working in my Samsung note. hangs always. shows green but no calls possible. please don't provide these kind of apps. will spoil even the imprison of your IP service. moved back to waves.
Excellent initiative by BSNL. The app and the concept of VOIP is the best in Telecom sector. Since it works with internet of any operator, it has solved the problem of poor signal and call drop. One can experience seamless calling with a number of Value Added Services like Conferencing, Video calling (Wings to Wings) and many more in the offing.
I had purchased this as soon as they offered. But never operational, never successful. I got a number of my choice, later they denied saying how can you get this number, because it is special. Choose something else. But I did not do so. Hence, even after successful purchase and activation, it is lying unused. Complained through proper portal, got several emails and SMSs, but no one resolved the issue. These pan-chewing employees of BSNL local offices are also useless. In govt institutional areas, they are the only one who are allowed to raise the tower, hence we are strangulated by this whole arrangement.

Nice service but app crashes often and Ringtone volume automatically increases after incoming call rings... and app cannot run in background. need to fix it.
Amazing app, easily configurable. wings is great. clear speech. much much better quality than watsapp. Moreover, free unlimited calling to ne number within country.
Great concept. But there must be an online portal for deposit and activation. now process seems to be bit complicated for common customer. Outbound proxy and server all should have been set default in app.
worst app. i simply wasted 2000 for ISD deposit and 1 year supscription. iam not able to recieve any calls . out going calls also very few calls only connecting. if commected it will disconnect within 1 min.. and the calls are not clear.. mailed the customer care no reply..
Too expensive for what it offers and moreover you require an internet connection to make calls so it will not work if you dont use WiFi or mobile data whats the use then how will i be able to make call when i am outdoors(as i use wifi)? so i need to have a mobile data plan for making calls while travelling which is absolutely useless.
Trash!! Other operators are offering vowifi for free and without the need for an app, supported devices can directly make WiFi calls using the native phone app. This service has no relevance
No incoming calls. Only outgoing is working at some times. No proper support channel. No service related staffs available for this service.
Need to update! actually a great app and idea to call without sim card but it's now too annoying. Lot of bugs and most of the times user is unable t call.
Great BSNL App to use Net for calling to any Contact Number. As it uses net so less radiation in comparison to RF. Suggestions- there should be About, help, contact details button on front screen. Also link it to MY BSNL App. If possible list of countries where WINGS works or may work well.
Please update and fix all errors and add new useful features immediately. This is very old version more than one year not updated. Thanks
BSNL Wings is working but not on this app???? i'm using GrandStream Wave. Using since last 1 year + and its working great. I even did set this up in VOIP modem and using it with cordless phone.
Worst. Not at all working for both incoming calls and outgoing calls. They never responded to our mails. There is no customer service number.
What is working in this app? 1. Very slow 2. Does not work for Bluetooth earphones 3. Eats battery like crazy. 65% battery usage in 4 hrs. 4. If you are in call and swipe the notifications, there is no way to get back to the call. You can only hear the other person speaking. You cannot mute or even disconnect the call. No wonder half of your workforce is getting fired for incompetency.
