BSW-SYNC

App has a nice layout but doesn't function correctly. Upon disconnection, light automatically turns on. Light repeatedly strobes regardless of settings. I've used other smart bulbs that weren't all that great but this one is even worse. You can find better ones for less....... do so. I even contacted the company and they said that you have to reconnect the bulb each time. If it's been connected for a few minutes and you want to use the speaker, you have to disconnect and reconnect. TRASH! !

Great product and great sound! Sometimes it takes time to sync and locate the device. I believe that often we forget all the other devices and software loaded on our phones, which makes us have to be patient with them connecting. Mines connected on the 3rd try, but had to go into my settings to actually click onto the app name to connect it. It can be frustrating at times. 1 out of 4 didn't work.

The music works. Sounds like any other cheap Bluetooth speaker. My problem is the lights do not work with the app consistently. It'll work fine, then lose the connection to work the light bulb. Music still works, but I really wanted to control the light more. Hopefully, an immediate upgrade is pending and it will work. I bought two. I hate to think I bought two worthless lightbulbs. And I'd hate having to add my review of the lightbulbs themselves everywhere I can.

The light comes on but it won't let me change colors. Says there is no equipment available. I have it connected to Bluetooth as well but it says it's not connected basically. So it will play music through a music app like YouTube but that's it. Pretty bummed out. My first color changing light and this is a joke. Hope it gets fixed. By the way I'm on a one plus 7 pro.

App is too old and hasn't been updated for Android in years (I have Google pixel 3). doesn't work at all. My Bluetooth connects to the bswsync, but I can't change the color or play music or anything. It's like my phone recognizes the bulb is there, but the app doesn't. Super annoying and this was a gift so I'm really bummed out. If you have iPhone it works fine but any other phone is a no.

We received 2 of the bluetooth speaker lightbulbs for christmas. After several attempts with the app we gave up. I had to restart the app several times to be able to change the light color. We couldn't get that part to work on my son's tablet at all. The speakers were suppose to be able to multi connect. They didn't. We could only play music on one at a time. I am techy so this is not a user issue. May be app related? If app doesn't work correctly than bulbs won't work properly.

Horrible. The app doesn't even work. I'm Bluetooth connected to my light and it still says no connection in the app. I tried reinstalling it at least 5 times, but to no change. The app used to work but now it's just trash. The only thing that works is the Bluetooth connection to the light to play music. Really wish I could change the color of the light like I used to be able to. It only works on IPhone devices and older Samsung models. Please update it so it works on newer LGs and Samsungs.

Didn't work. Light connects to Bluetooth but the app doesn't work the color change or any thing for the light bulb. Basically a light bulb speaker with a white light and that's all. App is also so old and apparently hasn't been updated it is worthless, pretty much like this light bulb. Save your money buy a real one from a company that didn't grab it's profits and run like they were set for life! I have a Phillips color changing light, works perfect, no problems connecting, changing-perfect!

The app is garbage, the light is garbage; it simply does not work. My phone finds the Bluetooth and it connects, the music will play, but it sounds like garbage. The app will not control the light because even though Bluetooth is connected, and you can get the music to play, the app days "not connected"; and you not do wanting with the light. And that's IF you can get the light to even turn on. When it turns on, the illumination is a joke. No more light than the flashlight on your phone. Junk

Light bulb works fine. I tried it on my phone and it will only play audio; tried it on my tablet and the color changing controls work (haven't tried to stream audio from it yet). I noticed that on my tablet (running Android 6.0), I had to connect through the apps Bluetooth connection utility, and not through system settings. Tried to replicate that on my phone, and nothing's happening; even when I unpair it completely and attempt it again.

this is hands down THE WORST APP EVER INVENTED! it works maybe half of the time if your lucky and even when it does its only after 1,000 attempts to connect by exiting the app clearing it from running in the background, turning light switch off and opening the app again while cutting the switch back on simultaneously and hoping you do it at the right moment to hit the "sweet spot" or else its back to square one again! if it does work its for lights OR music rarely both! and cant work w/out app!

Straight Basura... I've tried different BT/Wireless lights before and their apps and they were solid. They just didn't have Br30 bulbs like Blue Sky. Connected as a speaker not as a light. Unpaired and it kept making request to pair again w/ my phone. Never was able to get the lights to connect to change color. Lights don't play audio simultaneously. Big mistake. Returning tomorrow.

This app only works a little. I hope they are planning updates soon... Because the light doesnt work, the sounf and everything is great. Though I can't change the color. Not to mention the light flashing to the beat isn't ok, should be a trigger warning. I do not recommend getting this app if you have an android you can't change the color. Thank you have a nice day.

Would give 0 if possible. App crashes constantly. Customer support pretty non existent. Got the lights to work but wouldn't play music at all. Emmited a high pitch whine is the only sound. Followed all troubleshooting to no avail. Garbage product. Looked cool , like a fun little thing but alas do not waste your money.

Downloaded correct app thru app store (Android)and then tried on website directly. The audio syncs up, but not the lights. Audio quality is poor. Light control on phone will say "not connected". Loaded on both Galaxy 6 and 8...neither works. There is an additional pairing that comes up in Bluetooth menu, the instructions say you only need to pair with one, but tried to pair with second BSW devise found, thinking maybe that was lights, with other being audio only, but requires a pairing code which isn't provided (lights don't have screen to return a code), nor is this addressed in manuals. BSW has apparently launched a garbage product, and based on reviews here, isn't addressing the issue and not proving customer support feedback.

App is literally useless because it hasn't been updated in forever and it can't see any of the bulbs. I can connect via Bluetooth and play music without the app, but what's the point of a color changing bulb that can't change colors because the app is trash

The concept is great but the unfortunate part is that nothing works for a long time. Either the lights can't be controlled or I keep on losing connection through my Bluetooth. I am now trying to see if I can use my laptop instead of my mobile phone to see if they issues can be fixed.

Need to updated cause it said this is for an old version phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G and it doesn't work. The only thing working is the audio it dont let you change lights or nothing else. Very disappointing since i have 5 of this. Need to updated.

The speaker works great and the white light is amazing. My only issue with it is that you cannot change the colors. It has been over 3 years since the app has been updated. Is there anyone that is smart and can clone this app and fix it for them/us?

Decent app. Great light. Very glitchy with the light color. Every time I leave the app open in the background I have to close out the app completely and reopen it for my device (light) to show up (even when music is playing lol). Fix for 5 stars!

I installed the app and connected to bulb with no problems. The sound will play fine. The light will not work with the app. It says the light is not connected.

App says it was built for an older version of Android when you first open it and tells you to check for updates, which there isnt one to do...so even though my light will play my music by bluetooth I can not control the led functions and colors on the bulb because it says no connected device. The App needs an update badly.

Doesn't hook up like the instructions indicate. Bluetooth says device isnt ready to pair. Useless technology especially when the directions are old and don't show the new menu. I would not waste my time with this trash.

Why y'all playing? You know the led lights don't work and won't make an option to upgrade it. What a joke, it worked for a bit then stopped. What do you want a pat on the back for the music playing through it? If I had my reciept I would return it. Keep playing and watch you lose money.

The majority of the negative reviews you see here are based on user error. It's a severe miscommunication on behalf of BlueSky but it's still user error with most of the negative reviews you see so I will explain how to fix the problem you're likely facing. For some reason, this company has 4 products out and all of them require their own application but they all have different names. The average user will likely just look up Blue Sky and download that and when it doesn't work well, they may likely think it doesn't work and post a poor review. If your light is not working, go to the website and find your product number. There should be a picture there so you can match it up with your bulb. Look at the app that matches that one. If you download the wrong app, it won't work and you'll think it's broken. After getting the right app, you will find that everything works. The light turns on for me, the color changes, and I was even able to play Spotify through the speakers. It isn't a five star product at all but it absolutely works as advertised. I'm 90% sure most of the bad reviews are people who got the wrong app. Check your product on the website and try again before you return it. It's a lot of fun.

Pure garbage! The app would allow me to play music, but when I tried to change the light color it would say "not connected". Tried multiple times and nothing. Plan on returning this product to the store!

Not for Samsung phones even though the app is available. Speaker works fine, but you can't adjust the lighting at all. Works with my son's ipad. I'm also still waiting on an email response by this unprofessional company. This app needs an update for it to work with Samsung phones and probably all androids too. Needs work!!!
