This App is dedicated for GT-1000 ver.1.11 or earlier version.
If you want to use GT-1000 ver.1.20 or later, please use the "BTS for GT-1000 v1.2" app instead of the "BTS for GT-1000" app.
If you use "BTS for GT-1000 v1.2" with backup datas (LIVESET, STOMPBOX, ALL DATA ) saved by the "BTS for GT-1000" app, please backup your datas to cloud drive before updating GT-1000 to ver.1.20.
●Connect the BOSS GT-1000 and your Android mobile devices via Bluetooth to use this app.
* BOSS GT-1000 is necessary to use this app.
* Set up the Bluetooth connection in the Connection window displayed after the app is launched.
* When using on Android 6.0 or later, please turn Android Location mode on.
●BOSS TONE STUDIO incorporates convenient functions; ‘Download Function of Additional Tones (Livesets)’, ‘Tone Edit Function’, and ‘Tone Librarian Function’.
●This app provides an integrated access to the BOSS TONE CENTRAL website offering additional free contents for BOSS products.
*An active internet connection is required to download the additional tones (Livesets).

I intended to buy at least the core. However, due to these reviews concerning Bluetooth, I will look at the Line 6 Helix LT. If these reviews change before I order..... Btw, the back button should NEVER take you out of the app.
Still doesnt work. Tried this & the uodated version as well. All you getvis a blank grey screen. Boss.... PLEASE FIX THIS!

best App ever!
This app shows so much promise but little foibles let it down, which is a huge shame. Connecting to Bluetooth is very hit and miss. Also since a recent update its got very hard to select effects in the chain. These are fundamental flaws which make it very frustrating to the point that I currently don't feel its worth using until they are fixed. This app was a big selling point for a very expensive pedal. Edit: it seems like the effect selection has now been fixed so adding another star. If the Bluetooth connectivity improves I won't hesitate to give it 5 stars.
Dear Boss, Pls update the app, make it more attractive. The app looks very generic and it's nothing different than the actual display on the processor

Close to awesome, but a few significant problems. 1) Version 1.0.3 made the touch sensitive area in each effect block on the chain so small, it is near impossible to toggle an effect on/off or get into its parameters. 2) Sometimes swiping up/down on a knob scrolls the screen while changing the value, making it impossible to reach the upper/lower values of the knob. This seams to happen mostly if try to resize the window on a tablet or chromebook with Android support. 3) Having to re-pair with the device every time you run the app is a ridiculously tedious hassle. Come on guys, bluetooth has been around for 20 years, it shouldn't need to work this way. 4) Only formatted for a phone; doesn't take advantage of a tablet's screen space in landscape mode.
This could be really useful but there is a lot of room for improvement. You should not need to pair the device everytime, why can you not pair it initially and then have it connect automatically thereafter? The back button on the phone shouldn't take you right out of the app for me then to have to pair the devices again when i open thhe app again. The app also takes a lot longer to startup than you would expect. Please provide fixes for the above.
Getting better but needs landscape support and larger editing touch spots on the effects blocks
Excellent! I do all of my preset editing with this app.
Buggy app. Swiping the finger on the screen gets you off the panes. You cannot set the knob values, as swiping up and down moves the screen while changes the values. I am not sure if Boss GT-1000 is class compliant nor works as OTG USB. This would be a great feature. Having it available on Linux would be amazing. Please fix the bugs.

Beware,, If you buy gt 1000 from some Asian countries, probably you won't get Bluetooth feature due to failure of telecommunication certificate, so this app won't work on your unit. Eventho you update its firmware
