* BOSS GT-1000 is necessary to use this app.
* Set up the Bluetooth connection in the Connection window displayed after the app is launched.
* When using on Android 6.0 or later, please turn Android Location mode on.
●BOSS TONE STUDIO incorporates convenient functions; ‘Download Function of Additional Tones (Livesets)’, ‘Tone Edit Function’, and ‘Tone Librarian Function’.
●This app provides an integrated access to the BOSS TONE CENTRAL website offering additional free contents for BOSS products.
*An active internet connection is required to download the additional tones (Livesets).

If you have backup datas (LIVESET, STOMPBOX, ALL DATA ) saved by the "BTS for GT-1000" app with GT-1000 ver.1.11 or earlier, please backup your datas to cloud drive before updating GT-1000.

I am able to launch the app on my android phone, access and change the patches on the gt-1000, but I can't access boss central. The app says, 'No internet access, check the network connection". WTX? common Boss, please fix it! I uninstalled it and reinstalled. I gave it a 1 star for now. I have no issue on my old iPad.
This app is a great tool for editing and switching patches on the Boss GT-1000. It's very nice to be able to do some basic tweaking without having to get on the floor or put the unit on a table.
The application in mobile (Huawei P30 Pro) cannot find the GT-1000 bluetooth. Yet in my Huawei P10 Plus, it's working fine. I've tried to re-install the app but nothing happened. What would be the problem? I suggest that you need to update your application for add more compatible phones.
App recently not able to detect my gt-1000 but my android bluetooth device is able to detect the gt-1000 bluetooth. Still not able to connect and detect to app even doing in via the android device. Please fix the issue.
The Android app locates the GT-1000 Bluetooth and then it keeps telling me I have the wrong device! Well, I don't. Please fix ASAP!
This app has a limited usefulness due to the extremely slow bluetooth connection. This app is only useful for fine tuning a patch.
I clicked the connect to MIDI button and nothing happens. It does not connect to my Android Bluetooth phone.

Tone studio isn't finding my internet connection. I never had this problem until this upgrade. How can I fix this?
Boss you cam do better, when are you going to take action? So many user complaints that they have problem connecting the device and you simply ignore it. GT 1000 is your flagship product.
Works great, sometimes doesn't connect first time but once connected it works as described.

C'mon guys! As others have mentioned - it won't connect to the internet. How hard is it? You'll get a better rating when this one simple thing has been rectified.

Great app but I can't connect to tone central.
When I first tried using the blue tooth connection via tablet, I didn't realize that I might have to experience a learning curve thus prompting me to not give a more higher rating for the Bluetooth connectivity option. The same could be said with the USB connectivity to my computer. BUT once I changed my USB cord and acquired a better understanding of how the Bluetooth connectivity operated from my tablet and computer I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. I'm experiencing no problems at all, and both methods of connectivity have become a game changer for me. Love how I am able to easily change any effect .or parameter using my blue tooth connection while performing. Using the USB connection at home on my computer has produced a more vibrant visual experience seeing my effects chain, pedal assignments, and the overall operation of the unit on a bigger screen without having to constantly bend down to make any adjustments. on the unit itself.. I'm very satisfied and happily exploring all the capabilities this unit has to offer. Great job Boss, light years ahead from the Boss GT 8 that I've had for over 12yrs.( I thought that unit at time was cutting edge technology).The AIRD technology is fantastic.
