Bubble Words - Letter Splash

Finally beat it! All 240 levels without paying any money for anything. 😁 Did watch ads for one extra turn on the hard level bottle stages though, otherwise waiting for better random luck would be too repetitive, and sometimes the algorithm is against you. Easily the best word game in the play store though! Not pay to win, but you'd need to pay if you wanted to get 3 stars on some of the harder levels.

There are levels that seem to be unwinnable without paying for gold bars. Level 106 says to "Create and collect special letters." You are supposed to create sea creatures to make special letters appear, but I have tried a dozen times to make this happen using very long words up to 9 characters-- and it never does--so you can't beat the level. Very frustrating.

This is fun but the "rules" are so inconsistent they make it incredibly frustrating to win some levels. Like, a certain creature is supposed to do a certain thing when you free it- and sometimes it does, and sometimes it does not. So this is as much (or more) luck than skill and while it's the most fun I've had with a word game in a while i don't think this will be taking up space on my phone for long.

It was great at first, but I had a hard time getting the hang of it with the special bubbles. At first the reward or gift games were close together, and earning boosters and gold bars was pretty consistent. However, after a while (a few days for me), I'd had to use too many gold bars for extra moves and ran out. I don't spend real $$ on games, so I was stuck. Most games give you an option to watch an add for more turns. Not this one.

I am going to try this one more time. This is my third time on the reviews, plus I emailed the support team and have heard absolutely nothing. This game was working fine. Then, after force stopping it one particular time, it no longer works. It comes up to the main screen and I get the two bubbles, but there are no words in the bubbles. I pick the top bubble, to play, and then it starts to go to the next screen, but freezes up and shows me nothing but clouds. I have a stylo 4. Help.

Boy, developers - you have alot of work to do to clean up this app. It appears you are very lazy! Why take away the crab after the 10th level? He's the best part of the game! And 4 gold bars drop down & you only show 3. No letters to work with on most levels. I could go on! I think I will - even if you get over 100 points on a level & the bar is full - you still only give 2 stars? What is wrong with you.

Frustrating. The game is great, but it will not connect to FB so I can get & send help. I couldn't even contact you thru the game since it directs to FB! I'm currently at a level that absolutely needs an extra life or power up of some sort. Since I can't ask friends for help, I'm stuck. It almost seems like a push to spend money. No thanks. Let me know if you fix this. The disappointing thing is that I tried this game years ago and left for the same reason. Show me level 90 being passed

The pace and challenge of the game is severely impeded by the unavoidable/un-skip-able programming and annoying prompts. I wanted a game to challenge my skills....not to be pandered to and hand-held through a max of 3 words per round where you cannot turn off the damn auto prompts. Very distracting and takes the fun out of playing by eliminating all the challenge.

This app is pretty fun. However, it is extremely hard to level up. I literally had several 10 & 12 letter words in a row & could not beat several levels. It becomes too frustrating after a while. I feel like the developers think they will "force" you to buy coins or gold bars or whatever. But with so many free & fun & easier to beat apps. I will just delete & go to the next game. Sorry, my frustration levels are of the charts with this app.

Has a glitch. Twice now I have to delete and redownload only to get to the same level. and the whole thing freezes again. Not going to bother again. can only repeat the same over and over again. would be an excellent game otherwise. Challenging and fun. please fix the glitch at the second red cross. No one is going to have much enjoyment or patience for a game that glitches this bad.

I've already told my wife about it, and look forward to her playing it too. It would be neat if there was a way to do a two player mode, maybe taking turns to pick out words, maybe a cooperative mode and a versus mode. There are a lot of possibilities! 😀👍 By the way, cute artwork. I love the jumping, smiling crab at the and of the level. 🦀😉

I really enjoyed this game for the first 4 rounds I was able to play. It really is fun, however it froze while loading to the next level. I've restarted the game several times, and even tried reinstalling but still does the same thing. I've contacted customer service and they were pretty prompt about responding to me, but I'm still having the same issue... Please update this bug and I will gladly change the rating to 5 stars!

The game is fun & runs smooth. However, I have been stuck on the same level, using all my words but not "collecting all the friends" If the game would move them up into the puzzle so I could COLLECT them that would be great. The puzzle is all regular bubbles with nothing to collect, so I keep making words clearing half the letters hoping "friends" pop up to use. Very frustrating.

I like the game itself, but the graphics are a little plain. Meaning, maybe use bolder, brighter colors, & make the characters more cartoonish, if that makes sense. Also, you could probably add daily challenges, and/or quests to earn special items. Other than what I just mentioned, I'm enjoying the game.

It's a really neat and addicting game. There is a few things I would do for the players though. Make daily log in bonuses. and maybe a prize every three levels you beat to help along the way. The reason is that it's two many levels in between to get a treasure chest and when you get it it don't give you a level helper. or gold that is only in the very beginning of the game because some people don't have or do Facebook for the gifts and lives.

There's glitches in all the levels you're supposed to get the bottle to float to the top... The bottle just glides thru the obstacles so you don't have a chance to make words and get points. This is happening on both my phone and my tablet so I know it's an issue with the game and not my device. I've also seen letters get stuck on top of one another and basically freeze. Please fix!

At first I thought this game was really cool until I got to level 50... you have to get 5 or so little bubble creatures with only 7 words to do it with: I keep trying but the little creatures dont pop up- I guess the catch is to spend money for more tries or gold bars or whatever you need to pass the level... guess i will be stuck. i spend money in other games that have more excitement! oh well....

Love how unlike most app word spelling games, you selects any arrangement you want and thry don't even have to be connected which allows more vocab freedom. Cute, easy to operate, and some fun challenges included. Great to pass the time and work on my advanced vocabulary. I'd rate 5 if this game included a multiplayer mode but still like it either way!

The background music is very relaxing! If u play offline there are no ads and also you do not have to pay for stuff in order to pass high levels, great and challenging game. Takes plenty of time to get through the hard levels which gives u great satisfaction in the end. Much Much more versatile, combinative and complicated then the other word games, gives you much more space and letters to work with in order to create words and makes your brain work for it. Brilliant game all in all even addictiv

If the game wouldnt highlight bubbles for suggestive words without being prompted,the screen would be less busy and easier to focus. However,I enjoy this much more than Word Puzzles where you swipe between 3 to 4 letters to create prechosen words! Update- 3 lives and TWENTY minutes to get another is a bummer! Some levels ,like 45 ,seem impossible without making a purchase! I reduced my review from previously due to the frustration

This is a great game. It allows me to utilize my vocabulary more efficiently. At my age, it's easy to forget vocabulary but Bubble Words helps me recall them in a fun way. I think some of the levels are a bit too difficult but I have only been playing it for a few days. Thanks for such a fun way to combat Alzheimer's. I really love the way I can get free lives just by watching app previews. GENIUS!!!

Fun but FULL of bugs. I like the way the gameplay is designed to be. I like that theres no time limit and theres a few details that I like. A zen/freestyle mode would be a nice feature. Unfortunately, nothing works half of the time. Letters merge and glitch. The bottle levels are completely broken. When the game gives you a hint and flashes letters in green, its annoying and distracting when you're trying ro think. Overall theres potential but It needs a lot of work.

If you're okay with throwing money into it. I love the idea, I love the play. Some levels need tricks and hints. And I'm not an idiot, I've played hundreds of word games. But the levels are often unpassable unless you use some skulduggery. Ridiculous. Make us want to play! It's got great things going for it. But only 3 lives? 9 ice blocks to break in a very small number of moves? There's difficult and there's a money grab.

This is a fun game. Things that I like: 1. The ambient background sound (I have a rule to set my phone’s volume to 100% while playing this game!) 2. The Scrabble-based scoring system This is a rarity among games akin to this one. 3. The power-ups are neat. So far, I have discovered them up to 9 letters (some sort of party bubble with rainbow coloring).

A great idea and has a good dictionary behind it, but it is too hard and is designed, like most games to get you to part with lots of money for the power ups. It says free to play but it is not, once you get to about level 35, you will need to start shelling out. Uninstalled!
