BubbleUPnP UPnP/DLNA License

This app is working so much better than hifi cast in maintaining connection with my sony HAP Z1es on our wifi. I am really pleased with its stability. My only complaint is that there is an unusually long silence between songs. I'm talking easily a minute of silence. It's as if the app is buffering the song before playing it. So I timed a gap at 1 minute 45 seconds. That is unacceptable!

Buggy. Shows 2 instances of the same subtitles in 2 formats simultaneously. Some mp4 files won't stream from PC. Often very slow. Though the only app that can connect to pc and stream subtitles, as MX player does not work as it should.

Love this app. Been using paid version for years and been very satisfied with it's performance. Has settings and options for power users and love having that level of control. Best UPnP-DLNA Chromcast compatible app you're going to find for Android, period.

This is an absolutely amazing app able to throw your music all over the place. There are many well chosen features that just work. The amount of effort that has gone into making it reliable and wholly relevant is phenomenal. Well worth the entry fee. I once had a problem my htc one yes many years back and the support I received was fantastic. Didn't get to the bottom of it but I felt all avenues were covered to try to solve it. Hats off!

Bought the license since this app is really well made and it's clear that the developer actually cares about improving it. Currently using it with Jellyfin Media server hosted on a desktop PC with a Nvidia GPU for transcoding and it works very well. One issue I had was when 2 android devices had bubbleupnp (one playing a song, another controlling the song) it would not change the song and it wouldn't pause or skip the song either, if I had left the same song playing I could do all of those.

Works well, no issues (anymore). Original review below when I rated it 1 star. "Bought this yesterday to transcode and stream to my chromecast and it worked perfectly yesterday and I was happy. Today I went to use it and it just doesn't work and only displays a blank screen that says BubbleUPnP. I have tried restarting my phone and the chromecast, and reinstalling this app. Nothing worked. Big sad."

Excellent Media Player. I did purchase the license years ago, and never regret it. The Network/UPnP/DLNA support and feature set exceeded my expectations. Works with all my DLNA devices: Windows, Android, iOS, Samsung TV, & Heos. Its very easy to switch libraries and renderers, with lots of options to make it all work properly. Small details like an option to change the queueing behavior when you tap on a song in your library show the level of detail designers put into this. Highly recommended.

I bought this app years ago and I stopped using it some time ago as I was no longer using a DLNA server at home but I have installed it again recently and I find that it offers a great way to mix my music files and a streaming service seamlessly. Casting to my home devices is much more reliable with this app than any other streaming app. It's a beautiful and extremely flexible piece of software. Simple but full of options to customise the experience. Thumbs up!

Full paid version keeps crashing when used with Tidal. Very disappointing as the app is otherwise half decent.

This is the sort of software music collectors have been asking for. Play your music from almost anywhere to almost anything. Just started using this as an alternative to the Yamaha MusicCast app. So far I am very impressed. It streams music from Tidal to my Yamaha systems flawlessly. And even more impressive, it acts as a media server, streaming FLAC files I have backed up in Google Drive to any speaker system in the house. A Plex alternative. Can even be your default music service streamer.

Found it tricky to configure, but is working fantastically well with my Onkyio receiver and Freebox HD, 150 GB controlled by my phone.

Brilliant. Used it for years. The UI looks prettier these days, so thanks Devs. I would like to point out to those giving the app a bad mark up, the app's a bridge and does not transcode any of the streams. That is down to the server and renderer people, not this app. Steaming from web server to renderer is, from what I can figure, fairly new to the app. So instead of squealing about it on here, try sending a bug report to the Devs

I bought this app for one purpose only, to stream google play music to my PS3. For that purpose it works for me. There were some issues in setting up, the process is convoluted and not intuitive. Despite that there is a webpage set up for this purpose and it is thorough and concise which in my mind sets things right. As third party apps go 5 bucks is well worth it. It is also available for the family plan which is important to me. As it progresses I am sure some of the little idiosyncrasies will be worked out and it will be a five star app at that point. Meanwhile I am always happy to see a third party app work around the moderately draconian policies of Sony.

Please fix the app. I paid for it and it keeps bothering me to turn off battery optimization. (I don't want to do it). I have hundred of paid apps. And 99 of them just don't bother me to turn off battery optimization in order to prove I didn't steal the app. BubbleUPnP seems to be "special". Also, even though you claim that turning off optimization would have no negative effect, it still has - in app management section system reports few percent of battery usage for this license.

After many years of use on Motorolas, I can testify about this apps quality performance and maintenance. Very impressive problem resolution too - def worth the investment.

Well Worth the Darn $44 especially because it enables Dolby Atmos on All Devices through my network. I have it connected to my Nvidia Shield pro, Samsung Galaxy Devices and it connects to all kinds of apps plus is an awesome 👌 helper. It promised me it would get my Pioneer Elite Receiver connected through my Xfinity Comcast Network to work simultaneously with anynet, Samsung Harman/Kardon Soundbar w/ wireless subwoofer and 2 wireless Dolby Atmos surround sound speakers,EchoStudio,Vizio,Q70TV

Dev has deleted 2 reviews, photos taken. App doesn't work at all after payment, while on free version worked flawlessly. This is a scam.

Just what I have been looking for. I can receive my cloud music (without having to download it), attach an old Android phone with Bubble to my a/v receiver using a 3.5 mm audio to RCA cable and then remotely control that phone with another using Bubble also. Elegant and simple. Now I can junk the Roku with its clunky interface.

Ok most of time but sometimes won't play the playlist in sequence. Can't find out why.

Can't find connection I have tried everything but it won't find the TV in my car to be able to connect to. Extremely disappointed. And yes my phone and the TV were both on the car's Wi-Fi. I ended up deleting the app and going another route.

Extremely dissapointed! I've know about this app and installed off/on for 6 years until finally "biting bullet" and bought. Unfortunately, with all my network acumen, app tweakimg, and t&e, it still cant do the basic act of BROADCASTING as an actual DLNA server. Also, the media randomly hangs during playback, stutters during, seeking, etc. Whats even worse is the tech support or developer REFUSES to assist after about 3 replies- a paying customer! I rarely buy apps- this is disgraceful. Avoid!

not enjoying it & I bought pro thinking that was my issue. Videos always stop playing TV says check network connection... Tv works fine connected to wifi I watch youtube and netflix built into my smart TV. The only somewhat reliable way I've found to play to my Samsung Smart TV is by first connecting to WIFI DIRECT to the TV eliminating the need for this app completely LOL. Adaptive battery isn't on and the phone is on its dock.

I installed more than ten streamer apps, tried them, and uninstalled all of them except BubbleUPNP.

Waste my money on this, I don't know why but you'll hear a loud "pop" sound before it plays the next song and it's irritating. I thought it can play DSD files without converting, I guess that conversion into FFmpeg audio format contributes to that awful, irritating "pop" sound. WASTE OF MY MONEY!!! DISAPPOINTED! VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Brilliant dlna player, I can access all my nas devices and computers on my home network to play movies & music anywhere and on multiple devices.. , simple to use interface, very professional look and feel for a modest price to license version... Really fabulous... 10/10

Awesome app... When it works. Constantly drops the connection to the media server or it won't connect at all. I have tried multiple servers, including the BubbleUPnP server. Same issue with every one of them.

At last a DLNA server app that actually works, does what it says it'll do and is stable, even on my ageing Hisense tablet, had it runing all day with no drop outs. I access audio through it on my LG smart TV, and it's pretty fast scrolling through artist and album lists.
