Budget Calendar

Budget Calendar is a budget and payment planning application.
All transactions are shown on a calendar (compare to the complicated ledger system used by some budget applications). Each payment can have a unique icon. Move a transaction to a different day to fit your needs. See where you are going to spend money in the future. Get clear statistics and reports for one or more months. Adjust the budget balance to match your actual balance.

Minimum recommended device resolution is 480x800.

Smartphone version file format is compatible with the desktop versions. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc may be used for syncing between your devices and PCs. Experiment with the trial desktop or the Budget Calendar Trial versions to get the feel for Budget Calendar.

This has been one of the best tools I've ever used for budgeting. It simple and straightforward, nothing flashy. I know exactly how much I'll have on certain dates and can plan out how much I can spend during certain months. It could use a few small tweaks and maybe the ability to add multiple budgets but maybe that's why it works so well for me because it's simple. I can plug in different recurring paychecks, one time paychecks, and all sorts of other recurring bills for years.

Budget Calendar is the most important financial program I use. I've used all three versions of this software (PC, Mac, and Android) and have found it to be consistently designed and well executed. My favorite feature of this program is being able to look ahead and easily have an understanding of how much money will be in my account at future dates. I can't recommend this software enough! Also the developer is extremely responsive to questions and provides great support!

Used to use Quicken b/c of the calendar features. After a while, Intuit put up a walled garden. Wish I had found this simple straightforward application years ago. Using it now, regularly, with excitement as it's helping me with all my spending behaviors.

Issues loading in new payments. When I add new payments I must always uncheck indefinite and put it on a single day payment because I have a lot of random spending that isn't consistent but I still like to log it. I wish the default for every new payment was on the selection "# of pays:1" and the selection "day(s)" or I wish I had the option to change that default. If I got this wish I would rate 5 stars.

Exactly what I was looking for. Turns my spreadsheet and Google calendar into one. I had some questions about if certain features were available and my email was responded to in about 12 hours. Highly recommend.

Well worth its price. Could use some improvement with cloud saving so that it continuously saves and loads from Google drive. I wish it was possible to clearly differentiate between debit accounts and credit since most of my bills to on credit cards and don't really make my balance drop, when I add the credit card payment it effectively reduces my available cash twice. I work around it by setting a credit card payment equal to the interest instead of the actual payment I do.

Simple, user friend, low resources, intuitive. re-occuring expenses, easy to the eye, great planner, not a subscription, visual I am an engineer and I have developed my own Excels with similar functions (inputs & outputs). Even though my tool is great, this is even better because someone else is constantly improving it and fixing bugs. Also, my wife will use this over an excel. 2021Sept -update: still my #1 app. New features keep it lite, easy to the eye, no clutter, and not using resources.

Good app for budgeting. However, I paid for the Android app because I wanted to be able to sync it to the computer version like it says I can. Turns out that the PC version cost $30 in addition to the $5 for the app. No syncing available on the trial version on PC. I'd like a refund.

The app is great, but the UI feels very outdated. Could stand to be updated to not look like it's from the early 2000s. Other than that the app is the best I've found at what it does.

After over 5 yrs using YNAB I finally dropped them, they used to have a similar desktop app that links to smartphone app, but now it's only a web online that links to smartphone with limited capabilities. I do have a question, what is the best way to sync this thru Google Drive. I have both the Budget Calendar Software and the Android App. Desktop Version, I have to end up saving to a local file then uploading to Google Drive, there is no sync option on the desktop version. Then on Android, I look for the file from google drive, sometimes it doesn't appear so I end up downloading from google drive to the phone's local storage and load from there, vice versa on both after I make changes, I save to local and upload to google, only to be downloaded. Where is the sync option on both Desktop and Android versions? I will also post this question on the Desktop Software website... Please help....

Reviewing latest version, It remains THE best budgeting software around. Simple interface with everything where you need it and no clutter. Absolutely awesome program. The easiest and most complete budgeting software you can find!

For £29 for the PC version would have expected both versions (PC & Android) to sync with each especially as they're compatible. Sorry to say that I have now chosen to move to a different budget app because of this. Purchased both Android & PC version and they will not sync with each other...not even with Google drive sync turned on & folders setup correctly in settings

Game changer I have been using this app for years and have never had a problem. It's intuitive and so easy to use. It's like having a golden key for your financial picture. I can't imagine it ever receiving anything but 5 stars.

My favorite budgeting app for keeping a running total of my checking account and predicting its future amount. Not 5 🌟 because I wish it was visually updated to look more modern. It looks 20 years old.

I love how easy it is to use! I love the fact that of u stick to ur budget you can see how much money u can save later down the road! and I love how u can make little adjustments if u end up spending more.

Fantastic App, couldn't manage my finances without it to be honest. Only 1 small glitch, when you manually adjust a balance then you cant add another purchase on the same day as it won't calculate the purchase and affect your end balance.

It's pretty thorough, but I found personally it didn't work for me due to the calendar being very busy. Makes it hard to see each upcoming bill separately.

Long time user, I though this app was very useful, but I lost my database a few times now after "altering future transactions" that actually altered all the previous ones and unbalanced all my data. Now it was the last time, I'm replacing this app.

I've been using this for a few years. It really helps me to project forward with my spend and ensure that I have budgeted correctly. I'm on a 4 weekly pay cycle and managing monthly direct debits was such a pain. Using this tool has meant I can easily see what my day to day finances are like.
