Trying to sign up to the app. Every time a try to create a password (following the password rules) it always come up with an exclamation mark saying to follow the password rules. I don't know how many different passwords I've tried, but each time this comes up.
This app designed with the care appropriate to a discarded facial tissue. If you are about to finish you purchase but regrettably decide to first enter your flight info, when you switch back to this app from your airline app, you will find yourself back at the very beginning. (I can't believe I am going to continue with this purchase!)
Don't use this app. Once you've added credit card details, you can't remove them and Budget has started sequestering your predicted fee before you use the vehicle, which essentially reduces your credit card limit.
Overall impressed with the app, especially when compared to others. Clean, simple interface...offers what you need without having to rely on a computer to book-cancel-modify a reservation. Aside from minor bugs here and there (that you'll encounter with all device applications), nice and efficient app.
Budget does not honor prepaid reservations. I reserved and prepaid a convertible in November 2021 for Memorial Day Weekend. 2 days prior to my car pickup, the local office called me and told me my car would not be available. I called Corporate and I got a Mexico call center. LOL, nothing but a joke and I was passed from rep to supervisor who just hung up on me. I have used Budget and am a FastPass member for many years....but no more. Yeah smooth move outsourcing Customer Service.
Some of the counter people try to upsell you on the extras and ignore your reservation, keep an eye on that, otherwise the vehicle selections are great
After several attempts to finalize a reservation on the app it declined because card info was not correct but it was correct. I called number for assistance and was told a higher amount for vehicle. I disagreed to higher amount because the app was not allowing me to finalize reservation and was hung up on by agent. Poor app execution and even poorer customer service!!
I cannot believe Budget can call themselves Budget Rental Car Service. I returned my car to the Airport where I picked up and Budget didn't register it in there system until 3,000.00 later. They wouldn't allow to renew my contract( to save money when I extended the rental) they just kept taking on 100$ per day for a car that was 160$ for 3 day. They were going to charge me over 1400.00 after 1.5 weeks until I called and the bill was really 400$. if I had not called, why am I being penalized?
I have been trying all day to try to rent a car. I keep getting "issue" I need to speak with customer service. The phone # given to try to fix the problem is incorrect. I have talked to 5 or 6 different people and still don't have a car reservation.
Budget is the only rental car company I use because the app makes it so quick and easy and fastbreak is a life saver at the airport.
I currently have a car with Budget. I would like to make a change. I can't access my current reservation anywhere. Very frustrating. I want to add a day or change a drop off. Should be simple just to get a quote or information.
The app is not at fault-- the website is just as messed up. I have entered my AARP membership number countless times both on the website and the app and each time I'm told that the number is invalid. I also had this same problem when I entered the membership number for my travel partner acct. I tried calling their cust. svc. number and got dropped three times. Why do I bother?
Fast. Clear. Convenient. And most of all Absolutely Fantastic Prices! I use this app all the time even though the time setting is old style its fairly easy to navigate.
No issues but if you don't rent from an airport you want to convert to one way you can't turn the car in. I am having a family emergency and staying 2 weeks longer.
The App doesn't allow you to change your info correctly for fastbreak customers causing a credit card error delay
Glitchy. Unclear whether discounts were applied. Not very well designed for mobile apps because the drop-down for the airline wouldn't scroll past the A's.
Created an account, then attempted to log in and it says my credentials are invalid. NO THEY'RE NOT!!!
Phone numbers for service go to Avis. After being on hold and extended time, you are told that you have to call the budget number. An exercise in futility. Information is incorrect also
Doesn't readily pull up reservations booked, current, or past. Can't pull a receipt from app.
Did amazing had a temp driver's license and only a debit card at time and still was able to rent a car thank you 😊
Too many glitches with getting through the pages.
Easy to read and select options and type.
I got charged $225.32 extra (not pending but actually went through) in addition to $129.77 even the customer service on the counter can't understand why they charged me that. Always hard time dealing with Budget
Terrible phone app on Android phone. I've used the app before with no issues. I noticed the app has been upgraded. I've attempted to make a reservation. Each time I get to the verification page. I click continue and it takes me back to the beginning. I called for help, I'm forwarded to six different people. No one from Technical Support.
Unusable. Extremely buggy and something always comes up to stop the reservation from going through accuratly or at all. I think one reservation worked and the "my vehicle" was still Inop. 3 bookings or so now I've had to make over the phone because the app meant to streamline things is bugged.
