Buffalo Roam – Park. Pay. Be on your way.

What a horrible non intuitive app. I don't understand how to add payment to my buffalo roam wallet. I got zones where I can't use my credit card directly. I press on all kinds of buttons trying to figure out how to pay for a parking space that I'm parked at. This app is a game it's like.. park and figure it out.

Way too many permissions. There's no reason why this app needs all the permissions it requests. Plus you're required to "pre-load" a minimum of $10 before you can use the app. (So if you're only parking once, you pay $10 even if the parking only costs $2 per hour.) Plus you have to pay a "convenience fee" on top of the price of parking. Nothing convenient about this app, or system of paying for parking.

It really should have a prompt if you actually need to pay for the time period you are about to pay for. It would be immensely helpful if I didn't have to try to figure out how much if at all pay for a particular zone. Example some zones are free on weekends but the app will still allow payment. Other notes; permissions are ridiculous for a mandatory app and not city visitor friendly.

Ridiculous that you have to pay a convenience fee in order to use their app but I guess it's helpful when you don't have cash. I don't like that you have to load at least $10 to the app in order to use it. Still waiting on an email response about having two wallets that I can't merge for some reason.

The old version was great except for it not allowing as much time. The new update somehow deleted my current vehicle and pulled up an old plate number I had deleted from the old app and cost me a ticket. Since they both had same name, company van, I had not noticed the change and certainly would not have expected such odd behavior.The old app honked a horn when time was near to expiring and unless this one switched to "media" for its sounds, that is also gone. Please go back to the old version !

Just had to use this app to park in Buffalo for two hours. The rate is $2/hour but since this app only allows you to use "Buffalo Wallet", you have to transfer a minimum of $10 to the wallet, which you cannot get back. It's a real trap for someone who does not live in Buffalo or doesn't visit the city.

THIS APP IS GARBAGE!!! constantly logs me out then doesn't recognize my login info. I have multiple "Buffalo Roam Wallet" cards in my account with different balances because it won't let me use the balance on or even add to an existing one. The app also charges an additional $2 more to your account than the original transaction for the parking fee. This app makes me hate parking and even planning tripd to Buffalo because the old ticket machines sre becoming obsolete thank to this busted app.

$10 minimum balance in their "wallet". Absolutely absurd and uncalled for. It's a cash grab that makes Buffalo super unfriendly to visitors and the city should be ashamed for having such an unfriendly parking app partner. Furthermore, the minimum distinctly targets individuals of limited income who can't afford to have any extra dollars tied up unused. Horrible. Use any other parking app if available! I will happily update this review to 5 stars if the $10 minimum requirement is eliminated.

Confusing af! Wouldn't take 2 of my credit cards. Doesn't bother to tell you when parking is free and conveniently prompts you to pay. Useless p.o.s. app. I guess since this is the way to pay, if the app doesn't work and I had gotten a ticket is have a legal case to contest the ticket.

In Buffalo for one evening and it makes you buy minimum $10 worth of parking. I used $2.50. Then, since I had to use my card in a new app, it shut down my credit card for potential fraud activity and I could not pay for dinner. I had quarters for the meter but it would not register them and of course the meter did not tell you that and just ate the quarters. Nice job Buffalo. I wont be back.

If you are going to have what appears to be an online chat help function, then you should respond to help questions immediately. When I most recently signed into app it stated they no longer support Facebook sign in and immediately asked for my email address to verify codes. However all my account history was gone and my account balance was gone. Still waiting for support to respond to my conversation help chat. This app is amateur, unreliable and it does not show Buffalo in a positive light.

Horrible. Used app once and linked to debit card when I used Facebook to sign in, minimum you can deposit is $10 and I only used $2 plus their "fee". Went to use it again and it told me I could no longer log in using FB. Can not access the rest of the money and customer service has not answered their messages for hours. Asked for a refund.

so many permissions needed???????? why is cash not acceptable to pay for parking outright? plus, it has randomly told me places I park frequently for work are all of a sudden "not parking allowed" even though I had to go and pay with COINS and it worked just fine. confused by this and by this intrusive app. I rated this 5 stars but after all this fuss I took it down.

Madatory app. But charges a convenience fee. Doesnt accept all cards. Zones can change from block to block and then back to a previous zone. No support from the chat box.

This app is terrible! The minimum upload amount is $10.00. I only used $4.10 of that and now have $5.90 left that I cannot access unless I upload another $10.00 which makes NO sense. I will be contacting the company to refund my remaining balance. What a scam!

Expensive and limits you to uploading money and keeping in on the account. You also can't just pay for the time that you park. You have to pay for a pre-set time whether or not you park that long.

I'm super happy that I'm forced to download this app, pay more to park so that I can work at my job, and give the city access to my entire device. Buffalo is making a historic great leap forward. Suspicious on how there are so many 5 star reviews on this app hmmmmmmmm

theres no map of each number. kinda seems like that should be at the front of your app or at least website. it's dark out and raining so im not really trying get out of my car, not really sure how the person in charge of this app graduated high school.

The only option is to load the app in multiples of $10. I live in Calilifornia and will not use the remaining balance on my account. Why is there not an option to only pay the EXACT parking fee from my linked credit card?!

Installed it just so google play would let me write a review. The list of needed permissions is insane. I can see no reason to give all that access to this, or any other, application. Uninstalling as soon as this review goes live.

Really convenient to be able to pay from phone instead of walking back and forth to the kiosk to pay. This app is great.

I wanted to download it, but aren't the permissions a bit too intrusive? You really need to have access to my Device and App History? Bluetooth? Files? Really?

App saves me time n money. If I need to add more time to my parking, all I have to do is do so from my phone instead of having to run back to machine. Plus if I move from one space to another within the same zone...I dont have to pay again.

You have to add $10 to a "wallet" in the app if you wish to use it. For people who won't use the app more than a handful numbers of times this is true waste.
