Bugs Go

it's annoying having to scroll to my B5W and select it each time I start the app. There should be an option to remember my choice. Also there needs to be an option to set the RTH altitude. Having it default to 15M doesn't clear the trees here in Northern California. Finally, Google Maps satellite view was intermittent even though I have my local area saved for offline viewing.

Android 9 (pie) issue. Some have said the app does not work on this version and I had issues as well. I have a Pixel XL and it would not connect. My wife's Samsung S5 running Android 6 worked fine. Did a lot of searching to no avail. In going over the quick start guide for my Bugs 5W it says there are multiple channels and how to change channels. I did and now it connects just fine. Hope this helps others.Giving 3 stars as I have yet to actually fly this app just yet.

Doesnt work with Android 9 (pie). It just will not connect. Connected via another phone on Android 8 straight away. Would appreciate a fix please. On Android 8 looks a good app. Found out if i click on WiFi, WiFi preferences then turn off 'Turn on wifi automatically' and 'open network notification' when you connect the drone and you get message stay connected, click 'yes' it worked for me.

I have just started using the app. Seems to work fine as long as your phone is 5G compatible. I had to upgrade my phone; make sure the wifi connection on your phone has a and/or a/c. if it's just b/g/n it won't work. The drone is wondering around more than it should be. The google maps doesn't load, it just stays blank but my phone, drone and controller show 14-16 satellites so the developer didn't include US maps. Since they are selling these drones in the US I would think they would have it setup for the maps to work in the US. I haven't tried the rest of the functions because I haven't made it to a wide open area to test the follow me, waypoints, etc and with it not locking in and wondering around more than it should I don't want to try them at my home with too many trees and obstacles around. I will update when I get a chance to try those features. I'm giving 3 stars as the drone is cool, app seems to be ok if they fix the map issue. I have a moto g7 optima phone with android 9.0 and it is working on this phone and android version. PLEASE FIX THE MAP ISSUE ASAP and I would rate 5 starts if that worked and stopped the drone from wondering 5-6 feet in each direction

Decent functionality generally though the map never loads where I am, always China... Though my main issue with this app is that the logs don't work so I have no post flight telemetry which is such a basic key thing to have and get right. Shows it all when flying so the sensors all work.. just the app doesn't. Please fix this guys as I'm on the verge of sticking it on ebay over these issues! I NEED telemetry! Currently using an inferior drone with a better app as this functions reliably!

Since the last update on this app,it has not worked at all. Before everything was fine now all I get is it telling me device is not connected. I press the reset button it then tells me device is connected. Press to take a picture or video and am told device is not yet connected. Have reinstalled app,no difference. Drone is a 4W. Phone is Samsung A20e.

Can't modify parameters unless paired with the 5W, but understand this might be a safety feature. App needs an instruction manual really badly! Feeling a lot better about the app., since the map is popping up now. Waypoints option worked very well. Very satisfied. Lost the google sat map now. Lost the video timer. Not happy about that.

Older version i can switch to satellite map on the new updated version no anymore. I do can connect to the app and get fpv but all my telemetry on the app are bot working at all, no satellites displayed only on the remote. distance, height, rx, tx battery level not working. unable to use orbit, follow me, way points, etc. bcoz no satellites are displayed on the app and I'm using Moto Z2 Play phone with this. Unable to set and submit geo fencing as well gives me an error settings timed out.

App very glitchy, maps works half the time. Flight data is all over the place and has never worked properly. Also constantly get a warning on the phone saying 'app is abnormal going to shut down' nothing ever happens though, the warning pops up constantly even when not using it.

Flight data occasionally works. The app is ok but doesnt keep the drone i use selected. It could use lots of room for improvement. Extremely buggy. Started giving me connection issues no matter what phone i used. Ive lost drones due to buggy apps and poor - moody software on drones b4. Had to send back drone so i didnt end up watching several hundred dollars fly away again.

UUGGGHHHHH! My phone connects with bugs app on wifi but DOSENT connect with the app most of the time I have seen people on you tube with the same problem but no one has an answer!???????? This is really frustrating I love everything about the 5w bugs and it says my Google pixel is compatible but I cant find any answers! very very frustrated!

App used with bugs 4W. China and your information (not a good mix) over all it would work with note 10+ fine...... most of the time. However app will now ask for permission for phone and contacts ! If you don't allow this it won't work. I would rather keep the numbers of family and friends out of their hands so it is now rubbish. And as always with Chinese products range is less than half of what was stated batteries would only give 10 minutes max flight time.

the video footage is freezing during the flight..the video is in the stop and go motion..and you will notice that the aircraft is disconnected on the app...i think the older version before this update is much better..it doesnot freeze or stop and go motion....i hope you can do something to correct the update....thank you...

The app works well. So far it has done everything I need it to do EXCEPT..... the maps does not work. Not sure what the issue is with that but I cant use the map feature. If someone has a fix for this that would be very much appreciated. Thanks

This is a good app, but I wish the developers would update it to link to Google Maps so that we actually have a map on the screen when we click on it, which would enable us to see points of interests and our surrounding area. At the moment there is a blank screen. Please, please developers provide us with a fix and update to this issue. Apart from that it does everything it needs to do. Not only that, but the app looks limits us to 500 meters distance and 150 meters high. When clearly these Drones are able to go much further and higher. Come on developers get you act together and give us the updates we desperately need and increase the limit parameters. I'm sure that the developers are not interested in our views or ratings otherwise they would respond and action our requests.

Great app, drone is working very well on Samsung s7. Only one thing need adjustment is the map view should have satellite view as well. Navigating drone only on street view in outside city areas is super hard if you don't have much streets and can't see souranding on the map as satellite picture view. Anyway super app!

It's is loaded with issues and bugs, no pun intended. Will not stay connected to my Bugs 4W from my Pixel 3. Sometimes it shows connected but I get no video. Other times it just won't connect unless I delete and then reupload the app. This will be my last MJX drone if they can't fix these stupid little issues.

Not bad I fly jjrc cetus and used a apple iPad folder version and Systems camera on the screen worked great. The problem is have no controls to fly on the screen, I have to use the remote control to fly the drone. I have a Samsung phone now which I haven't used yet. This is going to be interesting.

Cannot get my 2se and my phone to connect. Map is in China it seems. Pretty much useless until you guys can make it show video. **Update** Finally got an update after MONTHS of waiting. Got it to connect ONE TIME. Then it wouldnt connect. Looked around MJX forums for suggestions and was able to tweak my wifi on my phone to connect. I gave you an extra star. Still had to work to make it connect and it took WAY too long to get this update.

all functions for the Bugs 2SE do not work my remote shows 16 satellites but the app shows zero. i cannot use several features of the drone due to this. please fix. update 4/7/19 i figured i have to forget the wifi signal and rejoin everytime i fly, mildly annoying, but it works. now my bugs 2se will not go over 150m? there are not flight limits set in the app. lowered my rating due to ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Email thwm twice about the issues with this drone and have gotten no response. do not buy

0lder version works fine. Newer version, no data on phone, only on transmitter. I'd take older version over this. Changed channel, as one suggested with no change. This app is useless now. Im flying blind. Thanks for nothing.

weighpoint maps dont work in anything but the scroll out OF A COUNTRY!!!! Running android 8.0. only works on I-phone. google maps works perfectly on phone. bugs go app shows where b3p is, but no reference of ANYTHING

The app does not connect with device. Phone is connected to device fine, but app won't pick it up. Using a bugs 4w 4k with Samsung S10e. As a result I cannot view camera, take pictures or record videos. Not good enough.

Can't get app to connect to Bugs 5W. I've done all the start up steps to get the controller connected to the drone and my phone on the drone wifi and it still says the aircraft isn't connected to the app. Thank god I wasn't the one who bought this piece of junk cuz I'd be pissed. $200 for a drone that won't connect to it's own app? 0/5. Fix this.

THANK YOU for recent upgrade ! Maps work and most of the telematry data except transmiter battery level. App flight control works now ! Tap and fly etc. Great drone products mixed with a great working flight APP look out dji.keep working out the bugs comtinue to improve this APP.

Drone good but app an issue. Will not connect video feed to one plus 5t or 6t but will to Samsung 8 and Samsung tablet? Very frustrating. Google map and feed appear to work for the One plus phones but not the Samsungs! Needs to be less flakey

Works well but maps do not work on Samsung Galaxy S9, even when i load on 4g wifi before use. Also, you should be able to download maps. Other than that, its a great app.
