• You are no longer tied down to: only one brick, block or tile size for the masonry function; a fixed number of drywall sheet sizes; only one footer cross sectional area; or one size of shingles and sheathing. If you don’t see the size you want, you can add as many as you need. And for area input, you can store your custom sizes in Length x Width format, so you won’t have to do mental gymnastics to figure out what was the dimensions for that last size you stored.

I've been using this fantastic app on my phones for 6 years with few complaints if any. The developer is accessible and open to ideas and input. After spending hundreds of dollars on the other guys for years and always being disappointed, this came along and changed the game. I highly recommend this BuildCalc app to any contractor who needs to save time and money. The best tool in my toolbox.
Most intuitive const app out there...use it daily on all my jobs for roofs , squaring , stair / balluster spacing , compound angle settings , material estimating & general calclator . Excellent Customer Service from Ben (for sales problem NOT for program functions !). 40+ yr all phases of const and this is our go to Const Calculator ....Buy it and you'll save tons of time / Pros and DIY'ers alike .
I love this app and use it every single day as a contractor especially the stair function ! Would be lost without it. Great job on a great and usefull app !

I was looking to transfer my purchase to a new email for professional purposes, and Ben, the developer, went way above and beyond in helping me find a solution. He was quick to respond and very thorough in his email. Old review: If your boss isn't stuck in 1863 and lets you use a cell phone on site, this is perfect
I have been using it on iphone, worked perfect. Now time to switch to samsung!!!! Update....using it for a 7y now....never dissapointed. Great job guys. Could be some bigger screen now ...like in scient...calc. just my 2 cents
Awesome app. I use it for all my projects. The customer service is phenomenal. I had a small issue with it at first. I emailed the developer and the problem was fixed the next day.
Been using it for years. It's outstanding. I've used it on just about all my home projects.
Stringer diagram with each step cut to printable PDF which no other app or site offers is just one of many functions! If you in Construction, pay the $25. No worries you or you guys will mess up or waste time on deck. Now my guys fight over who gets to cut stringers. Used to be the worst part of any deck or stairwell job. AWESOME APP!
This app is the best in the business. An Ben the man that wrote it is like a dog with a bone if there's issues with it, he will bend over backwards to help you. Ben does love his app an rightfully so, I do to. Thank you Ben
I've been using this app for the past few weeks, I haven't explored all the nuances of this app yet but I've been impressed by what I've seen. Customer service is second to none, I've emailed Ben twice so far and had a response within 10 minutes each time. Highly recommend this builders calculator.
Had licence issues at first but this is the 4th phone it's been on and no problems, is the best calc on the market... Thanks for the fix Ben! Would give you ten stars if I could.. Would give you more money for a rebar function

Too many permission request from this app. The calculator works fine. It doesn't need access to device and app history or call info, etc. Check the permissions yourself and decide if a calculator needs access to all that info
Been using it on my IPhone for years and now on my s7. Great tool to have in my job.
I don't find apps often that deserve review, and fewer that are good. BuildCalc is a pleasure to use. They seek to improve their product to benefit their customers. I carry one less device with greater function and with less $$ due to this one app. Thank you guys, absolutely top notch!
This app works great. Use it a lot for stairs. Love that it tells you anything you want to know about what each button does and how to use it.
I recently switched from Apple to Android, this is the first app. I purchased after the switch. I have purchased Build Calc now twice for full price and don't regret it. This is by far the best on the market.

I bought this app and it's worth every penny. Unfortunately I get prompted to either pay for the app (which I already did) or exit. Seems to happen every time I'm in front of a potential client too. Contacted developer several times.
I get the message i need to buy. I have done so almost a year ago. LG vs890 4g.
Having trouble with it when I'm in spots that have bad signal. It tells me that I need to purchase it when I have already. Any other time it works fine and think it is the best construction calculator out there.
I use this every day. It is better all the other ones.
I have used this app for approximately 6 years on a daily basis. Everything about this app is outstanding including exceptional customer service from the developer. The only issue that I have had is transferring the app between upgraded phones. Their customer service resolved the issue in less than 24 hours. I would highly recommend this app to anyone in the construction or woodworking industry!!
