Therefore, learning objectives Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in SMA / SMK / MA / MAK is an effort to develop quality citizens in various aspects of life, especially the development of students to be able:
1. Think rationally, critically, creatively, and ethically and have a spirit of nationalism and love of country inspired by the values of Pancasila, the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945, the spirit of unity in diversity and the commitment of the Republic of Indonesia.
2. Participate actively and responsibly as an independent member of the community, according to the status and dignity as creatures of God Almighty.
3. Committed and proactive in interacting with other nations in the international arena directly or indirectly by utilizing information and communication technology according to the character of the Indonesian nation
4. Developing a positive and democratic constitution in developing a healthy and dynamic and have confidence, willingness, loyalty and pride and firmness as Indonesian.
Textbooks Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Class X for SMA / SMK / MA / MAK outlines minimal effort to do the learners to achieve the expected competencies. In accordance with the approach used in Curriculum 2013, the book-based activities, which the participants are invited dare to seek any other relevant learning resources available as well as stretching and surrounding areas, so that learners being part in learning activities.
