BullionVault: gold & silver

Used to be good but now when you want to view both gold and silver the screen starts flashing from one to the other and you can't see anything. So it's basically useless and it's being like this for about 2 months now. It wouldn't be a big deal with say a weather app but here with a company holding people's gold and silver it makes me wonder if they're professional and trustworthy enough.

Ive tried several times to send documents to validate my account. When you get to the page where the camera should be activated, for me, on several occasions, nothing has happened. Ive uninstalled the app in the vain hope re-instalation may do the trick. The staff however have been very helpfull with this.

The app now blocks any form of autofill, including from highly secure password managers, in the name of better security. The result is the exact opposite, since I am left with 3 bad options 1. Downgrade my compkex 24 character password to a memorable size of, say, 8 characters 2. Writing the password on a sticky note (how's thst for security) 3. Stop using the app. I chose option 3. A very bad outcome for the developers.

Very dated app that needs a complete UI overhaul. While it is responsive, the landing screen is just the price of gold. It desperately needs reworking with some sort of UI specialist as it's very basic and not particularly useful over just using a web browser and the website.

15th Feb 2020: Thanks for getting rid of the intermittent flicking back and forth between gold and silver charts, BUT you still have a problem! Just look at the vertical scale on your silver chart: 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, with no $18 per oz on the scale. You should be checking and double-checking your app after the last fiasco. Come on, get this app working properly!

Since last update the charts are completely blank. Uninstall and reinstall makes no difference. Clear cache and data also no difference. Update. Issue fixed. Not related to app update, possibly related to Google Web View update.

I've used this app for a long time now and its been good until now. Recent updates have resulted in charts not working. App is now useless. I've since updated and the charts are working again. I am now due another update, hopefully it will still work.

Gives the prices which is great, but since the update it completely freezes all the navigation buttons on my phone and i am unable to exit the app, have to lock the phone with the physical power button and then log back into the phone and close the app.

Great little app, use every day, can switch between options like £$€¥ gold, silver, platinum, range of dates. Would like to see a Troy Oz option and maybe palladium. EDIT: thanks for responding to my review I see now, sorry for my mistake you can change the weight in settings.

Works great overall, but cannot see my referal link on the mobile app to share with friends. Should be visible and easy to copy/share.

Poor app. Dated interface, no fingerprint authentication, forces a physical password sign in every time. Needs a complete rework.

Couldn't even create a freaking profile because every user name is too short, too long, in use, has incorrect characters, spaces... ect. Screw it! I don't know why you have to have a freaking user name to begin with! If that's something you're going to force on users, maybe take away all the silly parameters. I'm not going to take an entire day just to come up with some silly name that doesn't mean anything, or serve any freaking purpose!!!

The app has poor user interface. Buttons have text missing. Could do better for a trading app.

Fairly good app. Really need to support biometrics to login though instead of a password which can't even be stored.

Charts flicker back and forth between gold and silver. This app used to be really good

Something seriously wrong with current update. Keeps cycling between the 3 different metals. Locks up.

Works, but could be better. Why does your chart online update automatically but your chart on this app needs to be manually refreshed? That's just useless...

Wants too much personel information and banking info. Also the wait times are insane for your funds to clear. Much better apps and companies to do buisness with. I uninstalled this app

Entering a password each timeyou want to access the app is insanity. This methods is possibly the most insecure method of authentication in existence, not least the usability means the app is usless. In the very least, they should be using Android key store, allowing users to use their fingerprint to gain Access. Then an MFA method to authorise any actual activity. Can't take bullion vault seriously. This indicates serious failings within a company your meant to trust your money to. Insanity!

Palladium is the only precious metal that has had a very long bull run (1971-2001). It is also the one to have the most recent bull run (2016-2018). Yet, we cannot invest here. Otherwise, I'm a fan.

When starting app it sends me to the lock screen. Won't use until fixed. Website works just fine.

Since last update the app takes forever to start. Also it auto rotates even if you have disabled auto rotate in your universal phone settings

I am half Jamaican our family desend From treasure beach which we buried our. Gold tilepullin only needs metal Detection by metal detector to find the Gold buried there!

Wanted a live feed like the website. Probably not going to use the app if it's only updating once an hour.

It's good, tells you all the up to date prices of the precious metals you deal in. Easy to understand.

Great for trading commodities on the go and staying updated with the latest changes of commodity values. 🤑

Only thing missing is ability to make comparisons on the bullion chart.
