What happened with this new update? No zoom, no shooter mode, it's terrible. Last version was great, now I'd rather use a spotting scope. It is good for initial sight in only. Even then you have to be within your setup target. If not you can't see the shot. Bring back the old software version ASAP.
I WAS happy with the original sight in addition. Now that the system has been redesigned and the app updated, the older systems are NO LONGER supported! They should have I formed previous customers that their systems would stop working as soon as the app was updated. Very lame to spring this on previous customers. SME does have a 50% discount if you send in your old system. So, I have a $500 paperweight at the moment. An older apk version is on the net and can be downloaded to use the camera.
I have the original (prior to GSM buying bullseye) one mile camera. The app is absolutely worthless, will not connect to my camera at all so now I have an expensive paper weight. I talked to GSM and they pawned all of my issues off on the third party developer which appears to be this group of knuckle draggers that do not check prior version compatibility before releasing an app. Either develop an app that works for prior versions or step away from your keyboard, you mouth breathers.
Love the app....freezes on my note 8 when I go to edit some target settings. Would love to be a beta tester...have had the camera for 2 years now and help run a 450 yrd range and could like to see some new additions to the app. Thanks
New app doesn't allow simple shooting mode. Cant start new session. Cant zoom in. Please bring back old app. This is useless for my application. I was told on 2/25 a new app was coming by the 28th. Didn't happen. Saw review on 3/7 stating new app available. I didn't find it. Same GARBAGE! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
No simple shooting mode and no zoom in this version???? I'd have given the previous version five stars this one makes what I want to do, just shoot, way more difficult. Hope you roll this change back.
Will not work with original Bullseye camera system. Have the original Bullseye app on my Android phone and it works with my system. Tried to install this version on a new tablet, it will not recognize the camera and does not display a menu. Give me the option of the original app!!!!
No longer works. Like many others have noted, no longer works on my tablet. Keep getting connection errors. I have oddly enough gotten it to work on my HP laptop. I'm happy that it at least works there, but now I have to take my laptop to the range........can you say ridiculous!!!
not connecting to tablet, laptop, or phone. Target box was at 25 yds, clear line of view, so that has not the problem. paid done bucks for the system and more it's a paper weight. wait until they clear the bugs before buying.
unwanted app update ruined it! can no longer zoom, change shot markers, or view old sessions. do not buy camera unless they have someone who actually shoots update the app. or bring back old app!
For two-player mode you're limited to using their brand targets. I have several NRA standard targets I wish I could use. It would be nice to be able to upload my own targets and assign my own point values.
Bought a new unit but can't use it because of software problems. Not happy. Developer is supposed to contact me to resolve Android issue. Hope the fix helps all of us.
Poor customer service, they no longer support older systems, they will exchange your older system for a 350 dollar "upgrade fee" so when I asked them how long the new system will last until they outdate that one? They never gave me an answer
Wa-hoo!! New version pushed today and ALL issues (I had) are FIXED! THANK YOU SME..... I certainly appreciate your willingness to respond to customer issues... I'm back to using the system and will once again recommend it to others. I'm running Android Phone. SME Bullseye V4.6.4 -Mike
It does not work on my Samsung Galaxy. I have the original bullseye camera. It used to work great on my phone with the original app I will have to look for a new and different camera system.
Quickly connects to Bullseye network, but main menu has no way to display live video unless you use sight-in scope button which does not allow record or show shots
One of the worst experiences I've ever had. The device doesn't work on my phone, my wife's iPhone, or my Microsoft computer. Tried to call the company and got no support. Stuck with a $700 paperweight.
It used to work well with my Bullseye Ammo Can. Now all I get are failed connection errors! We'll see what kind of support I get from their "Contact us".
Version I have does not have basic function to act as a spotting scope. And the "sight in your scope" function just has a blank grey screen. Stupid.
Love the product and the app. I wish you'd let it change to a portrait view though.
Latest version..... not up to scratch. Wish I could go back and install an older one.

Doesn't match the description on their website. A step back from the previous version.
I am using this app on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The previous version of the app worked well, but the current version (3.6) does not. Although I was using the latest version, it would not save my target images from the Group Measurement feature until I uninstalled and re installed the app. Then the images showed up in the Gallery, but when I import a target for analysis and run through target setup (which the app requires), it will not display the entire target so that I can add markers. The app would also not save my sessions, and when I reinstalled the app, it deleted all of my previous sessions. There is no option to import a saved session (if it had saved any) for a shot by shot review. Fortunately, I still have version 3.2.7 on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and on my Kindle tablet, and I have turned auto update off so that I will still have functionality, which I need to use this app. I DO NOT recommend updating to version 3.6.
