Bully: Anniversary Edition

Unfortunately I have to take this game a 1 star because it's totally unplayable on my phone. I run android version 12 on a pixel 6, and the game crashes instantly. I've contacted rockstar support about this inconvenience, and to make a long story short, as of yet no fix is available. They said they are working on the issue, but I have to rate this app as is. I'll update the review once the problem is solved with an update/patch of some kind. Untill then be warned. It's an known issue.

I've loved this game since it came out for PS2. Amazing stuff, really. I was super exited to have it on my phone and at the beginning it was worth every penny. Then android 11 happened. I can't play it. The app doesn't even open correctly before it crashes. This has happened ever since my phone updated to 11. Please patch it up so we can play it again.

You have no idea how much I want to rate this game 5 star. I played through it, had an awesome time doing all the missions, going through the story, and even trying a 100% playthrough. However, when trying to load up the game again after I installed the new Android update, it continuously crashed to home screen. Initially I thought it was my phone but I gave the app permissions, restarted my A10s, and did the classic uninstall-reinstall. Nothing worked. Can't even get a refund.

Story 10/10, controls 8/10. This game is a certified classic, I think the only problems I have with the app is that it can be REALLY GLITCHY SOMETIMES. Jimmy's (the main character) body turns pitch black sometimes during cutscenes and the control buttons are smaller than you think. Overall I got a 4 out of 5 experience.👍

Managed to beat it using the touch controls, very well made port, so why not a complete star? Well there are some graphical glitches like when hopping on a bike, your camera goes crazy, it doesn't happen all the time and you can just wait it out.. But it gets annoying when it happens on a mission.

Bully itself is a great game, but this port is broken. It doesn't launch on newer phones and Android 10 and 11 seem to have major problems with it. When it does work, The textures mess up and the game lags like crazy and it's the only one that does that. Rockstar won't fix it because they forgot about their mobile games.

I played this game when it came out on the PS2, this feels almost the same when it comes to feel of the controls (used and Xbox controller via Bluetooth) and looks the same on graphics. I really enjoyed the original and this brought me the same joy and hrs of fun. For anyone who played the original or is looking for a game to pass the time, I highly recommend this. It has a long”ish” story and lots of collectibles to find to “100%” the game. Not much on the replay value and had issues with the Bluetooth controller once or twice, but nothing that turning off the controller then turning it on again didn’t fix. Other than that I had loads of fun and spent hrs playing this in my spare time.

As someone who never played this on console, this was nice and accesible and a lot of fun. Worth the price but I wouldn't want it to be much more complicated, what with mobile controls. There were some minigames which were excruciatingly hard due to controls and the odd glitch when getting on the bike, but didn't affect me too much and I completed the story.

Exactly like the original; however, it is missing the New Coventry clothing store. Also, randomly gets black screen/closes, therefore I had to begin missions all over again. There's also the issue with transports. I get stuck on the skateboard often, so I have to ride up stairs in order to fall down and free myself; when I get on the bike, the camera spins in circles and up and down nonstop, and no matter what, the go kart ALWAYS glitches out whenever I attempt to use it. Aside from that, great!

The game would be amazing if not for the amount of bugs and the controller system in general. Countless times have I failed missions for "being knocked out" when in reality I have been trying to enter a building in no combat situation whatsoever. The combat system and targeting could use a little work, but apart from that a good port overall.

Love it...every single thing about it... nostalgia at its finest. My only issue is I uninstalled due to wiping my phone and now I can't reinstall it. I download it but then when I click on the game it has an option to resume download but I can't press the button. Really sad cause I wanted to do all challenges and achievements and was having an amazing time with the game. Hope it's fixed soon.

I am very surprised, because, a game like that, working in a mobile, it's amazing! But, nothing is perfect, and, i have some bugs to mention to. 1. When you pick a bike, sometimes the whole screen get black or start to spin (something like it) 2. The cars sounds, i don't know if it's a Rockstar mistake, but the cars sound are very strange and annoying. 3. The character's life bar, sometimes get out of the character, i don't know how to explain it. Ok, that's all.

super fun game, however there are a few bugs and glitches that can be a bit irritating, like sometimes when you get on your bike youll start spinning uncontrollably, sometimes the screen would black out, other times you would be kicked out of the game. it doesnt happen all the time but it happens enough for it to be irritating. it has controller support, so if you wanna play w a controller you can but 4 stars because of the glitches and bugs. besides that its pretty solid game, good timekiller:)

An absolutely awesome game. Back in the mid 2000s i have to walk for 10 minutes for me to reach the nearby PS2 in our neighborhood to play this game. It's really convenient now that i can play it anywhere with my phone. The controls, graphics, and gameplays are great just like in the console. It's worth it and enjoyable. Good job Devs and keep up the good work!

Rating: 4.5 This game is flawless in every aspect (characters, story and etc ) but for performance, I did encounter glitches. Such as bringing your bike out of the garage causes the screen to go ballistic in different perspectives. I had to pause the game and resume to fix. I always wish the steering of transport were more sensitive especially during racing. I always had to really dig my finger and drag to the left or right in order to steer properly. Also some other minor issues as well.

So far it's been bloody brilliant. It's exactly like the version from Xbox 360 and it cuts out some of the annoying things like targeting onto people (this version does it automatically) it's perfectly ported over in my opinion. The only thing I stuggle with so far are the buttons for the classes because they're not buttons on a controller anymore.

A great title from Rockstar Games. It worked really well in my K8 Note. Fluid graphics and interesting designs. It was a bit tacky regarding the movement and camera controls. However that is to be expected as this game, like most Rockstar Games was not actually intended for a phone. However, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend it.

Very smooth game play so far.. I haven't connected a ps4 controller to my tablet yet, so I've been using the controls that are on the tablet screen. So far haven't had much of a issue being able to control the character. Sometimes the screen controller will have a slow reaction/response to things like using the skateboard or trying to turn around to next target when fighting multiple people but even with it reacting slow at times, it very rarely causes you to lose during game play.

I've been playing this game almost everyday even after finishing it. But after updating my phone, it won't open at all. I've tried everything. Cleared cache, even data. Even uninstalled it which is frustrating coz I didn't wanna go through that mission where I had to beat the nerds' scores. Only to find that it still crashes. Won't open at all. Same with GTA.

Would be definitely 5 stars if the controller support would be better. Touch controls are good but with a controller, it's very unresponsive and the analog stick is unsusable. The game itself is a masterpiece and my childhood favourite. I finished it now 12 times, it's so unique like no other game out there. It's still definitely worth the money and if you like to play games on a touchscreen, you won't be disappointed. (OnePlus 7Pro)

I'd love to give this 5 star, when I bought it, it was great, now though, it doesn't work with the new Android update. It's now been 6 months and still nothing from the developer. You submit a report to rockstar support, get sent a list of trouble shooting that doesn't work then get a message saying it's solved. Yet it still will not open. Was brilliant and now, literally unplayable as you can't open the app without it crashing on launch

Please fix the control to aim. Some quest can't be finished without aiming to the top and bottom. The game can only look right and left or make every quest that need to aim at an object or people automatically aimed at the target. (Ex: quest to throw egg to every open room in two story building). Fix it or refund coz its meaningless if I can't finish the game.

I've been playing this game on a Samsung Tab S4 and i'm having a problem with the bluetooth controller, pretty much like other users here. Everytime i turn the screen off, the controller stops working in game. It works in the menu and out of the app, but not in game. Reconnecting the controller doesn't fix it. This forces me to restart the game everytime i need to take a break from it, which is very inconvenient.

Top class, even better than I remember. The gameplay on my device is flawless (mate 20 lite). I have it running the best graphics and is smooth as you like. Im rocking a £5 bluetooth pad and it works like a dream. Exactly same layout as the ps2 version back in the day. I honestly cant give a better review! Well worth the download. I hesitated due to a review saying bt pads wernt working. But i but the bullet. Glad i did 👏🏼👏🏼 top work on a perfect port.

I can play this game, and overall it's very good. However, I don't really like the controller because the analogs keep jumping around. The another problem is about a glitch when I'm riding my bike. And the main reason why I put 2 stars is because of an error when I'm on Busting In mission on chapter 5. I cannot move to the other place, and I've tried a thousand times to check whether I can make it on another time, but I still can't. Please repair all of those problems. Thanks!

arguably the best game of all time , a must have on mobile . edit : was about 10-15 hours into the story and suddenly the game stopped responding correctly to the controller I was using . the controllers inputs are all correct and it functions perfectly except the game now just refuses to let me play using it . uninstalled to try and fix the issue and lost all of my save data. all in all , this bug completely RUINED the entire game for me and I don't think I'll be picking it back up .
