Bungii: Your Friend w/ a Truck

The interface is straightforward enough to follow, but it lags loading some screens sometimes, and it is frustrating you download an app to use Bungii and then get notifications and submit cancellations via SMS instead of in the app. It was also frustrating I got what appeared to be a confirmation message by SMS the morning of when I had requested a pick-up, and the app said Contacted Driver #1, but the driver never showed up, and there was no option to request a different driver.

Worked great for me! Had to come here and rate because I'm shocked I saw a couple bad reviews. The app was smooth and super easy to use, customer service communicated very well from the beginning, and the driver was super helpful, quick, and even picked up some additional things that luckily fit in his truck! Have only used it once, but great idea and very helpful!

The interface is easy to use. I was able to schedule my pick up with no hassle. Text communications with Bungii staff on arrival time were friendly and professional. Casey (my driver) actually arrived arrived at the pick up point before I did, so we were able to get the items loaded and delivered in short order. Super efficient service. Will definitely use again.

What a great concept. I used Bungii to pickup artwork that was too large to fit inside my vehicle. The transaction was flawless. there is one drawback to note: I was unable to arrange same day pickup (I imagine because the service is so new). The app prompted me to arrange pickup for a later day/time, and the scheduled pickup was later confirmed.

My experience overall, in a word: Fantastic! I found out about the app randomly, and decided to give it a go. I will say, I was concerned when no drivers accepted my initial request. I thought it would be instant, but it wasn't. I contacted customer support, they were super helpful. I did end up getting a driver, met him for pick up, he met me for deliver...26 minutes later I had my couch in my apt. I highly recommend it! Way cheaper than a uhaul and finding labor!! I will totally use again!

Couldn't get past the verification code. The app says it sent the code every time I ask it to, but no messages. I double checked my phone number and my phone service twice. Every thing is working on my end, but no verification messages from bungii. 🤷‍♂️

I have been trying to set up a pickup for 2 days now and this app is so convoluted that it keeps sending me back to the same questions over and over especially in the number of people you requested...if you 2 it assigns 2 trucks. It's like a merry-go-round. Even as you complete the form with the payment information you still can't complete the transaction.

We had an awesome experience with Bungii! Fairly easy to figure out (with lots of chat help from their support team). The overall experience went smoothly our drivers were awesome! Super friendly and efficient. I was confused and disappointed that the only choices are 1 truck/1 driver or 2 trucks/2 drivers. We only needed 1 truck for 1 large item but definitely needed a couple guys. I would think this is the case more often. 2 trucks driving the entire route seems like a waste. Still Awesome!

I've been trying to request a bunjii but the app keeps refreshing the request screen and I'm unable to add any pictures. It also keeps cleaning the loading and unloading time. I'm currently very frustrated trying to use this app. Letdown.

It's convenient and the customer service is exceptional. My only complaint is that in the Columbus area, they do no have a duo team that one can choose from. I was left having to carry my couch with the solo mover and bruised from it after paying close to $100 for it's services. I would have paid extra for a mover that could actually move my stuff.

I have never had a worse experience. I had requested two drivers, one day in advance only got one and then when the trip took longer that was planned because I only had one driver, they charged me double.The driver himself told me that it would be ok and I wouldn't have to pay any extra fees but I guess that was a lie too. Never again will I use this ap and their customer service was rubbish, like really, a texting number, really. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, not even if you paid me.

I really like the concept of Bungii and I was happy to have a reason to try it out. Im very happy to report that my experience was excellent. My driver, Eric V, arrived 30 minutes early, was polite, friendly, and quick. He helped me load a couch and ottoman I had purchased on Craigslist and took great care not to damage it. Update 12/26 I'd like to use your services tomorrow, but the app keeps crashing. Please fix!

Great experience, both with the app and our outstanding driver, Earnest M, who went above and beyond with a large, difficult sectional sofa we needed moved. The app is clean, simple fast and effective and communication and notification features excellent. Wish I'd had this app years ago!

I was told about this app from some workers when I was trying to get my sectional delivered. It was quite easy to do and I downloaded and was able to find someone as I waited right in the store. I was told an estimated time of arrival. I didn't have to wait around and they brought it to my home within a couple of hours. It cost me like$68.I've used it several times since then. I'm glad there is a service out there like this because its more convenient for me.

Great service and experience. Needed to make a short move, in town, with no furniture. I had too much for a car. I checked fees beforehand and thought it was reasonable. My driver, Nebil S., called to confirm, arrived promptly and I was moved in no time. As a single woman with few contacts (from another state), this was a game-changer. Professional help with no rental van hassles.

Great experience all around from initiating a request to completion. As a single woman with a car that doesn't work for those special finds @ Tuesday Morning, this is great. I feel like the developers have thought this through and done their best to operate very professionally. I am in Overland Park Kansas , so I guess my remarks in some ways are more specific to that area. Happy to have found this as a resource.

The driver was fast but I helped him unload so he could leave faster. They charge a minimum of $39 and dont tell anyone until after you pay thus if a friend refers you and gives you $10 off, you cant use it if the minimum isnt covered. I'm not referring any friends. RENT A TRUCK FROM LOWES if you're on a budget.

we used Bungii to move a couch and it could not have gone any smoother! Shawn M was amazing - he was prompt, polite, and even took the time to walk through a couple different plans of attack with us to get the couch through our narrow doorways before we started moving the couch. Very friendly, super convenient and i will definitely be using the app again!

Have you discontinued service in the Chicago area? If not, when will the app be repaired? I've always has great experiences with you and it is super frustrating to have been trying for three days to schedule a job but I can't use the app (it says "Sorry, we're not operating here yet" but I've been using this service since 2019). Customer service tried to help but can't find a driver three days in a row. What is up??

Worst app ever. The app itself is a coding nightmare. It hangs, hiccups, freezes, and becomes unresponsive regularly. The gui is overly simplified and yet somehow also difficult to use. The service is awful: it was not communicated to the customer that the customer is needed to assisit with lifting activities. A delay originating from the mover was not communicated to the customer. The charge received was not the charge advertised.

This service worked out perfectly! I had a ton of donations that needed to go and had no way to get them there. Ryan texted me, showed up a few minutes early, and hauled everything away in one load. Very personable and helped move and load everything. Would definitely recommend.

When FedEx left me stranded with a heavy undeliverable futon, I didn't know what to do. Luckily, I found this app! Ben S came to the rescue right away and safely delivered it. Not only did he transport it for me but he also went above and beyond to help getting it upstairs! I've already recommended this app to friends and family. Definitely will be using it again. What a great and helpful idea! Thanks!

This service was exactly what I needed at a time when I just needed a little muscle and a truck. It truly helped to reduce the stress from a stressful time. I have told anyone I can about this service. If you make a purchase and need away to get it home call bungi. Excellent professional and friendly service. Dave was great.

This app is THE most frustrating pile of dung on the planet!! God help anyone who actually needs to move ANYTHING in any kind of hurry! I can only GUESS how the drivers feel, trying to secure any type of jobs thru this thing. I've been trying to submit a job for over an hour now. I've uninstalled and REinstalled the app and STILL get some cockamamie error message telling me you can't secure a network connection!! BS! Any other app I try running, and any other website has no issue. DO BETTER!!!

Another great Bungii experience. I prescheduled the pickup and the driver, Terrell, was right on time. Very efficient too so it ended up costing even less than the estimate to move a mattress and bedframe. I've used Bungii three times so far and had a very good experience each time. Highly recommend.

Just used this for the first time. everything was surprisingly great. driver picked everything up, delivered on time, really tied down the furniture so it was secure, and helped carry it into my place. i forget his name unfortunately but it was an awesome service for roughly half the price the stores wanted to charge. will definitely use again

Great experience. First time using the app. We had a couch to move and the process was flawless. Scheduled move for the next day and got reminders twice. Matthew was our mover and he was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely use this service again if we have large items to move.

I ordered 2 trucks. The drivers chatted, took coffee... All the time they longed was on me!! 1 of the trucks took some items but the other one took just 1 which demanded a round trip. In the end, I was charged with more the four times the estimate. I blocked my card and explained Bungii support about the situation. They gave me a little discount. I paid a huge and unfair amount to end this. Now the app keeps trying to process the payment as if I didn't pay. They're aware of this but don't care.

Updating my review to say once they fixed the pictures problem on the app I was able to book Bungii to help move a couch and armchair this past weekend! It was amazing! Worth the $40 for sure and our Bungii driver Francisco was great! He even had a dolly prepared to help us move! Highly recommend. Would like to try it this weekend but it won't let me upload pictures unfortunately

Super easy to use! I ended up needing help at the last minute to move a China cabinet. They were able to come within 2 hours and Tyler, the Bunjii guy, came completely prepared with straps and a way to roll the cabinet across the floor without having to carry it to whole way. Somehow the address of where to meet me wasn't correct, and that could have been my fault, I'm not sure, but he was very relaxed and understanding and quickly came to the correct address. Very helpful company!
