To be frank, I really dont mind the game , In the beginning it was quite mean but it really motives you to do more exercise. Although, I think that the game could be improved by adding more variety in the exercise,as it will only get you to do one thing at a time , but doesn't this just cause more pain to your muscles when you don't do anything to the rest of your body? The characters are designed really well and you can tell that the developer has put alot of thought and time into creating each aspect of the game. Although some parts of the game did error such as the voices and the exercise amount counter everything worked really well. Overall I think that the game is very good and can be understood easily, Personally I think that could tweek the game so you can link it to the phones system, this way the app can see what the user is doing outside of the game, like steps for example.
I love this app. The derogatory remarks become less frequent as the story progresses and, in the settings, you can choose what the character says to motivate you. The training is gradually increased and the sense of achievement after completing one of the stories is great. I wouldn't recommend this app to those with low self-esteem as it could be detrimental to them but, I definitely lost weight using it and have become a lot more motivated to do so. I will definitely continue to use this app!
I love this game. It helps you work out while having a cool story. I just wish it was more explanatory with some of the features, like levels with the sensor and how to improve diligence points. I also wished there were other workouts for helping abs besides sit ups since they don't do as much to get abs by itself. Love the game, and thank you for letting me have fun with it.
If you don't like being berated for your weight and having size jokes made, then you probably won't like the app; but I'm finding it hilarious. I only downloaded it last night to test it out, but it has already motivated me to get active again; and the character offers helpful info for those who need more understanding on how weightloss works. I also like that it's not encouraging people to stop eating all together (though it does try to get you to cut down), but getting them to lose weight by doing exercises. So far, I like it!
I'm using this not to lose fat but to gain some muscle since I usually don't move like at all. I'm lucky that's the case because if I was insecure about my body and got messages like these in the game I'd probably end up trying to lose weight at a really unhealthy rate. Besides that, the fact that you only do situs for ages before unlocking any other exercise is annoying and it's super irritating that the graphics are low res but the face has a higher resolution
I really dislike sit-ups but this app works wonders. The cherry on top is the fact that we have the option to keep the Japanese voice acting. Having my sit-ups counted by the seiyuu for Asahina Iori for me is a plus. Being able to train offline is wonderful and the alarm system is really cool. Also on the upside, you really need to work hard enough on training mode in order to progress through the story mode. I would improve the DLC descriptions and making bundles available would be nice.
Great app that increases difficulty at a good pace! The story mode and dialogue are really funny as long as you're not sensitive about what a pretty anime boy says~ I completed the sit-up storyline a while ago but continue to do the practices every day. The other workouts are helpful too and I'm looking forward to reaching those goals. Thanks a lot!!
Awesome app, I can't believe I haven't seen anything like this before, however I had to knock a point for all the in app purchases and extra downloads. Just to be perfectly clear you can play the game without making any purchases, however the main thing that annoyed me was that every time I would click on a new menu it would have to download something.
(hint)by going in collections some things he says can be turned off, like the 'fattie' thing and so on. enough training unlocks next episode. = new exercise? (my reveiw) I wish the character was customizable instead of the one guy (and others select few only with add on). although I like having to do the training for points to unlock next level, I do wish that the second episode had given me a new exercise so I had a choice between them. (I haven't unlocked ep3 yet as i only just got this game)
Wow! I've tried other apps, and they'll just give you a small reminder and a robot voice of what to do. This has a storyline, a cute guy, a hot voice, and an easy way to stay motivated! I love it! EDIT: I'm a dumbass and ended up quitting but I'm redownloading it and trying again lmao EDIT: Easier than I remember, and I like it! Also, I'm possibly in love again 😅
This game is super motivating. I only wanted to check out the game for a minute with little intention of working out but it got me doing sit ups on que with the story mode! The game includes a lot of things we tell ourselves when we settle for being heavier than optimal and uses those statements in a way to get you to move.
I installed this game for fun, but I've learned more from this app than from the PE and health classes I took over the years. The storyline is interesting and the it's so motivational! Within minutes of opening this app, I was on the ground doing sit ups, I've done about 120 of them already, and I'm ready to do more! This app is great not only for losing weight, but for building muscle as well. I love this app, highly recommend.
Well, the app was... ok. I liked the cute guys and all, but when you're like me and have a lot of back pains, doing sit ups is awful. After I deleted this app, I found out about my degenerating disc in my lower back. If my back was better or if I had an earlier means of doing other exercises then I might have stuck with it. Concept is great, in all seriousness.
I personally find this approach (Kei's) to be what works best for me personally, but I get that it wouldn't work for everyone. I do have a problem with the voice acting not syncing up with the mouth movements and the voices never being loud enough, whilst acheivment sounds are far TOO loud.
This app is okay. I really like that I can use it to count my reps. Story is okay too. Art is mediocre but okay. But the thing is, every time I do the timed training, it doesn't count my points! I never know how many more points I need because the number never changes. It'll say "until 478 points" then I'll do 100 situp and its still the same. I close the app and reopen and still! Please fix this
It is a really motivating game. I had this plan to move more . I wanted more strenght and stamina. The only obstacle was winter. The cold outside made it hard to realise this objectif. It led me all the way to realising my motives and I will keep using this application. I had these motives due to karate. I felt a lack of energy 3 time since october. I was hardly standing up. The third time it happened I felt like the noises were in eco and I was seing in black.(...) I wanted to push my limits so that it would happen less. It didn't install this because I was overweight. I also got a iritation in the coccyx area ( the bone at the end of the vertebral column). It occured because of sit-ups. In reason of that, I bought myself a exercise mat. ( It is a little bit larger than a yoga mat) I was affordable at Walmart and I really enjoy it.
Warning! You will get insulted by the main love interest in his literal first words. The anger will drive you to excercise (at least it did for me haha). The story is sweet and motivating as you must excercise on your own to progress. There are things you can pay for but ultimately it is free to play and promotes excercising to earn the points to buy things such as voice packs and stickers. Also, the voice acting is quality! I use the app as a counter and motivator. I recommend it!
Guess who's got another issue with this app!! Yep! It'sa me. I loved this app sooooo much! It was so easy to use! Until it uninstalled it's self and made all my progress disappeare. The alarm thing doesn't work, and everytime I try to use it, it makes me re download everything I've already done!!! I'm getting really sick of this...😠😤 Fix it please!!!!!!!😭
It's an ok app. It motivates you with achievements. You can also turn off certain words or phrases in the 'Collection' tab. Whenever in free mode, in the exit screen, you can still accidentally press outside the menu box and adds 1 rep. Please fix that.
It was quite fun to do with my friend, but it doesn't quite work the way it says it should. It has a good story line, but you have to work really hard on the training to unlock an episode that is really short. It also chips away all your self-esteem little by little, but it technically explains that in the beginning. I recommend it if you take criticism well.
Ya'll, I had no intention of doing the actual work out, yet here I am doing over 130 sit ups and more every day! I, personally, don't have fat to lose, I need to gain it instead and I can do so by gaining muscle with this app! It surprisingly really is very motivating. By far, it deserves a 5*. The app is great!
I downloaded this for fitness motivation but the dialogue makes you feel the opposite. Really love the idea of workout+story rewards but the beginning intro makes me want to smash Kei's face in. Needs better story writing, bullying story doesn't do it for me - or ask which character you'd like to train with and the dialogue warning. The story might work for some people. I have been verbally abused in the past and don't tolerate someone talking to me like this so the story has no interest to me.
do not play this if you suffer from or have suffered from an eating disorder. the "cruel to be kind" motivation at the start is what keeps me from giving this 5 stars as it can potentially do more harm than good. despite this it is very good at keeping me motivated. explains some science behind weight loss which was unexpected. would be improved if workouts other than situps were available from the start, as exercising different parts of the body at once is easier than one part repetitively.
