Bus When? (Twin Cities)

This app used to be essential, but it seems like it just stopped working for some reason and it's not really being serviced at all. Not sure exactly what happened but it seems to bug out for every single route and even if you get a route to pull up, times don't seem to exactly make sense. I've since switched over to a new app but it just doesn't have the accuracy that this did last year. I really hope they update this to work again moving forward because it was fantastic.

This app used to be great. Back in March it started to glitch. The real time map stopped working which was the best part of the app. Now the route search no longer works. I can only see stops I have saved. The developers said they were working on a fix back in March and should be out soon, well it's been 3 months and no fix. I'm super bummed because this was the best bus app available and now it is basically useless.

This is the perfect app for those of us that commute to work by bus in the Minneapolis/St. Paul downtown areas! It's exactly what I was looking for. I love the option to select which buses show up in large and small print at a favorite stop. I like how if you turn your phone to landscape I can see both the schedule and the bus map at the same time.

Looks to be quite usable! Like the real time map feature. Wish we could merge additional routes into the selected set; also it'd be great if, when zoomed in on map so that bus stops are shown, we could click on a stop and see which buses stop there without already knowing its stop number. But I look forward to using this app!

In recent months the option to search by route number fails once the route number is input. The next question direction shows a blank screen with no means of showing the direction. Furthermore trying to show a previously created entry that relied on route number rather than on Transit stop number takes one to a screen that says no trips available. I would love you to fix this since the app has been very very easy to use and very informative

There's an old app called My NexTrip that I used to use. No frills, all it did was have a list of routes and a stop entry with favorites. At the time it was my favorite app since it took maybe 3 keypresses from homescreen in order to access my route. After it became unsupported I found backups of the APK and installed it, continuing to use it well after the author stopped updating It. At some point Metro Transit broke their API and I was forced to get rid of it. This is an upgraded that.

search is useless now, so unless you know the stop number this won't work for planning. EDIT: They finally fixed it. It took months

Update: I posted my original review March 29 and BAM! The very next day it saves my settings! I am discovering something new and awesome with this app every time I use it! Thank you so much! 5 Stars!!!! I love this app! So why didn't I give it 5 stars? When I remove buses from a stop it defaults back once I exit that stop or close the app. I wish the settings would stay how I set it up.

This is the best app for metro transit buses. you can save your stops for easier look-up & see where the bus currently is and how long before it arrives. Very easy to use.

It is quick and painless to find my stops. The favorite feature is smooth. Better than navigating metro transit's app or website

Not as nice or full featured as OneBusAway in Seattle, but much, much better than Metro Transit's official app. If I didn't have OneBusAway to compare it to, it'd be 5 stars.

Have you guys forgotten about this app? You cant get the bus schedule to display. But if you put in the stop number, that still works. This was a very handy app before it stopped working.

Great app for getting to my bus on time. But I've been getting an error lately. Java.security.cert.certpathvalidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found.

Excellent app with but location! Updates made it really intuitive to find your bus stops via searching route. Must have app!!

Awesome app! Incredible support! TBH my life is a little better because this app gives me answers as to when the bus is supposed be there. Wish you folks had a tip jar to show my appreciation.

Broken doesn't display any buses at all. Even after I updated app is junk now

I like that I can see the location of the bus. that allows me to know where the bus exactly is!

Doesn't continue once it gets to the part where it asks what direction you need.
