Tickets are a bit expensive and ut took along time for my 3 ticket purchase to go through because it wouldnt let me add the name of the child few times and my purchase kept coming up declined for some reason and when it finally went through, the only thing i did differently in the booking was take the dash out from between the unit number and street address. The app seems very simple and easy to figure out besides what i experienced. Maybe let people know which format to write address and info.
I booked and i received the message on gmail that there is error and they charge me then nothing i can't take my money back?....
🚫TERRIBLE! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, they only send confirmation not the actual ticket. Some terminals require the actual ticket. And some of the terminals ticket booth close at a certain time, so if you dont get your ticket printed and have a bus set to leave around midnight you're pretty much screwed and they do not offer refunds or exchange. BEWARE!!🚫
Pretty disappointed that there is no actual service hotline, they just pretend there is. Also both the site and app never told me that I will have to change busses...at 5am. Only AFTER paying 90€ and receiving the external ticket (the app still says there's no stop). Oh, and refunding option seems not to exist in the app. FAQ only says you can refund, but not how and where. And they will still keep their fee, even if it's their fault you actually have to refund. Disappointing, the idea was good
Does what it supposed to do. Has somewhat less routes in search results than some others, but works more reliably, meaning it actually does booking for the routes it shows. My first choice when I don't want to risk and when I want reliably get the tickets I count on
Great way to book bus tickets abroad, I used throughout my backpacking trip around Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. Easy to book and find tickets, I liked that I could pay in my local currency (pound sterling) and when I had an issue my email was replied to very quickly. I wish I found this website and app earlier as I would have used throughout my other trips.
Don't use this app, Charging Canadian in American currency. When you view the pricing on the app it will show Canadian dollars but then when you get your receipt they've charged in American dollars. They are aware that they are charging in American dollars and they say they have a technical issue currently. Yet they do not advise this issue to their customers. Can you trust busbud, absolutely not. It's certainly not a buddy of mine. They are lying, I didn't receive a credit!!!
Everything els out there is for hotels and flights and i needed a cheap bus ticket. This app saved me 50$
Put in all info and credit card on the app, tried to pay, it started processing, got message Whoops something went wrong with no idea given of the problem... Tried calling support and received message that they weren't answering phone now with no business hours given, tried supposed option of buying ticket by phone and got similar message that no one was home right now with no business hours given... In other words busbud is a dead-end app.
The app kept crashing when we needed it most, they company owning the app purchased all of the tickets we needed and was entirely unable to sell them despite having a large inventory. The three times we purchased tickets the app refused to not only sell them to us but also refused to acknowledge our payment, our bank accounts showed that the money went through but refused to give us tickets. We could not call them and they refused to assist us when we got assistance on live chat. Horrible app.
Don't touch with a 100ft pole. Billed my credit card, gave me the wrong information so I missed my bus. Tried to call them and no real person to talk to just 5 pre recorded options. They are only a middle man for local bus companies anyways they re skimming off the top with an app and proving no support. Scum. Thank God my credit card refunded me the purchase because I was so upset
I've been using it now and again in Argentina the last month but it's not reliable. Today again it's failing at the payment stage. When searching buses it shows the same options more than once.
Very good prices, but not being able to sort or filter tickets (as in the website) makes it quite impractical (over a thousand tickets showing from Berlin to Prague on a single day).
Good but had trouble canceling a ticket I had bought in error.
Not happy with the service. The return journey they changed the time from 2 pm to 12 noon and update email gone to junk. I am stranded without ride.

BEWARE!!! Busbud is a totally unreliable service that does not care if it gets you stranded! I bought a ticket from Busbud to DC the day of, so I assumed there would be no issue buying a ticket the day of to get back if I couldn't get a ride back. For no reason whatsoever, Busbud blacklisted my credit card, and when I tried using a different email to buy the ticket, Busbud blacklisted all of my emails and any other credit cards I tried using. BUSBUD LEFT ME STRANDED AND OVERCHARGED ME!!!
Excellent. Got a coach no problem with national express. Couldn't get one on national express website. Staff are really helpful. Phone calls are very expensive tho.

These are not cheap tickets, it basically just researches bus options and that's pretty much it. The same price I was getting in Greyhound was the same price offered at Busbud. No use for the app.
Quick easy and seamless. Also the only aggregate service I found which works with buying US tickets as a traveller (with a non US number/address) bravo!
Pros: + Fast website. + Easy to buy. Cons: - No Customer support via telephone: They say 24/7 support via email but they take 24 hours to reply. - They tell you to contact bus company. Anyone that has travelled knows ticket bought from third parties , customers have to deal with third party. Use this app to see prices then buy direct from bus company.
Easy to book, difficult to change after booking. Be sure if you are booking. They agree for a refund but dont give you the correct amount. Reporting this vendor to mastercard and Google Pay.
Tickets from Greyhound are non-refundable. Not really Busbuds fault but you have to click on Terms to find out that Texas buses are a big ripoff. I would rather book directly through a bus company's site in other countries.
You have a bug, at least for argentinian users. When you search for tickets for a new travel, if price in the search result list is in USD, when you tap to buy the ticket it gives you an error. Everything is solved when you change, manually of course, USD to a local money (ARS) from the search result list, before you pick a ticket. Maybe you do that automatically with GPS but, like me, a lot of people hava it disabled while they aren't using it.
