The app needs an update in order for it to work properly with the newest Android versions. I would think that the bushnell team would be on top of this without customers requesting it. Apparently they are not too concerned with keeping their products up to date. If the issue is resolved, I will update my review...
Still won't function on newer model Androids (S10 5G). I can see it on my phones Bluetooth; however the app won't find the rangefinder. Makes me regret getting the more expensive model that supports the connection.
**They fixed the app, it works on newer phones now. YESSS** Worked on old phone, doesn't work on new s9. Please update the app already.
Ranger finder was a great unit however with Bushnell not providing an update to work with the newest Android devices this has rendered this product worthless!
Sweet app only good for sett up then not needed but all round it works!!!
Haven't gotten it to connect with elite 1 mile? why does it have to be so difficult?

App finally working with my Samsung Note10+.
It would be real nice if I could work on my shooting information while not connected to the rangefinder. The time out is a real pain to work around (keeping the RF active by tapping the range button) , and if you lose the connection to the rangefinder you have to restart the app. Thankfully once the information has been added from the app to the RF, the RF saves the info locally. So in a nutshell the app is only good for the initial RF config and not worth the hassle from that point on.
1.2.3 Connects and pairs now, however once the LRF shuts down (about 30 seconds) you have to be patient because re-connecting takes so long (about 15 seconds).

It needs to stay on once connected. Or at least have a 5 minute timer. Having to retrigger tge range finder to stay connected os this things biggest issue. I think having wifi on screws things up (maybe). Got it setup and entered the custom ballistic data then compared the range finder results to my range card. Seems to be pretty spot on. The view is very generous. You can ditch binoculars for this imo. It feels good. The mode button can be difficult to press. The next generation should be amazing if they collaborate with users.
This app is worthless! You should be able to input your custom ballistics without connecting to the rangefinder because it doesn't connect reliably or doesn't stay connected long enough to input data! Can't imagine trying to use this POS in a real hunting situation, what a joke! The menu screen is totally lacking in options. The rangefinder itself is only marginal in performance. The free version of strelok ballistics calculator and a cheap rangefinder with angle compensation does a better job than the overpriced Bushnell CONX and their worthless app!
Was this app even tested before its release?? Absolutely horrible. If your phone's screen or range finder times out while trying to enter in ballistic data you have to go back out and reconnect. You having to be connected via Bluetooth to enter ballistic data is another major oversight. Terrible. Still tried it though. Tried to enter my holdover at 200 yards and says "invalid value" for some stupid reason. It let me change the 100 yards value, but no other ones. So basically, the extra $100+ that you spend on this range finder to use the app and have your holdover shown inside the view finder is absolutely pointless. Bushnell needs to get it together and get this software fixed ASAP. This was my first chance with a Bushnell product because I was told their quality has gotten a lot better. Well if this app isn't updated soon this will be my first and last Bushnell product!!! Pathetic!
Bluetooth turns off after 30sec. Unable to switch between apps (ex. Calculator). Unable to create custom drag curve due to constant fight to stay connected. I'm certain if the app functioned longer than a brief moment, I would find a whole cornucopia of bullsh!t issues. I've never owned a Bushnell product prior to this, and I doubt I'll invest in another. I bought this thinking "surely they've fixed by now, its been out for a while now." Nope. I feel like the app was rushed just to sell the product. When is the update? Whever it is its overdue AF. Not cool Bushnell. Not cool.
Worst ever! Doesn't work as advertised! To be absolutely clear... doesn't connect correctly, same as the other comments... should have checked the reviews before moving on this... Junk... whoever put this app together should be fired and banned from programming anything ever again. Go to a different product, any priduct, just stay away from Bushnell.
Very disappiointed with this app. The rangerfinder works like a hundred other rangefinders. The thing that set this apart and the reason I bought it is the supposed ability to connect with your phone for control and entering balistic data. If only it worked. I have a new Android phone and I get error messages when I try and connect. Contacted Bushnell and they said an update would be out early this week. Well so far nothing, and so far I still can't connect. I don't think the app has been updated in several years. Buy a rangefinder if you need one but don't expect anything extra from this one.
This will be the last Bushnell product I will ever own they really don't care at all about thier customers or they would hire someone to fix this app. It takes 10 to 15 tries to get it to connect and 5 seconds later it crashes you have to hold the range finder button continuously so it doesn't disconnect to enter any data then when you try to save it then it crashes again.
I keep getting "invalid data" error when I try to input my custom ballistics. Also, when editing custom ballistics, have to keep triggering LRF so it doesn't shut off. I'll give it 5 stars when it's fixed and works like it should
There were supposed to have update out in December to correct the connection issues but haven't. I have never been able to connect to my phone
Will not connect to Galaxy Note 5! Lets get on the ball Bushnell!!! This product has been out for awile now...these issues should be nonexistent by now. It does connect to wifes new Galaxy S8. Till they figure this out, and they dont seem to care or fell rushed, look at Sig Kilo or G7.
Does not connect or stay connected long enough to use with my new Moto Z2 Play on Android 7.1.1. Does connect and work on my old tablet with Android 5.0.1. Used to connect on my wife's Moto G4 when it had Android 6.0 but not after upgrade to 7.0 so this should give Bushnell a clue that this app needs to be fixed to work with current phones. It also used to work with my iPhone 6 on iOS 10.x but stopped working after upgrade to 11.x. At least I can update the ballistic tables with my old tablet but this isn't a good solution. Bushnell - are you reading these reviews? You have some work to do. This was not a cheap purchase. 1/23/18 Update: I contacted Bushnell support and got a reply that they are aware of the problems and are working on it. If they post a new version and it works better I will revise my rating.
connected w my phone on day 1, and never did again. still a piece of junk. good job bushnell.
I just bought this Bushnell Conx 1 mile rangefinder. I cannot even connect it with my older Android Tablet running Android 7.0 Nougat. It can see it but won't connect. I noticed it said at one point the passkey didn't match but I have no way to change it on the rangefinder!? Frustrating!
