Real fine app that I'm using for years now. There could be some ergonomic improvements, that's true (4 times confirmation when changing an event colour). I'm really missing a simple efficient export feature to excel spreadsheet format (Open Office). The backup is indeed way too complex. And when you manage to get the right file of the right calendar, you must convert it via another website! Lacking also, to type directly the end date of long-term events. When these fitted, it would be 8 stars!
Im removing 1⭐ because it would be nice to add an option to have the "calendars and task lists" buttons in all views (month, day etc) at the top instead of the bottom of the screen. I'm feedbacking/requesting this because with gestures, it may happens that sometimes you accidentally hide a calendar when swiping up, very annoying.
Great app, easy to use and convenient. I love the vertical scrolling in the month view. But it's a shame that it doesn't implement the functionality that allows to share my calendar events such that only a 'busy' status is shown and not the event details (I use a nextcloud agenda and sync with davx5)
I love Business Calendar! I love being able to color code my "appointments" (actual appointments, but also many reminders of things to do, plus birthdays, anniversaries, etc). It occasionally asks me to upgrade to the paid Pro version, but I personally do not have any need for the additional options included with the Pro version. I tried a few other calendar apps (including Google's) but I much prefer this one!! Keep up the good work 👌 3 years later & Business Calendar is still the best😎🥳🖖
Used the Pro version for years. Tiny price to pay for increased efficiency. Reading through those with issues.. either they have nothing to do with the application itself or they don't know how to use it properly. The only fair complaint would be syncing with a new phone. But it's still worth the time re writing anything missing. Maybe cut copy to Google calendar, then carry on adding directly to Business Calendar.
(Based on the pro version) Absolutely perfect, perfectly customizable without being overwhelming, syncs perfectly with anything I throw at it. Wonderful. Small request: could we choose what clicking in the weather icon in the pro widget takes the user to? The darksky website isn't great for my region and I'd like to be able to configure it to point at my default weather app. Thanks again, great devs.
This is my preferred calendar over the stock calendar. If it didn't randomly put in a 1130p reminder notification on its own on "all day" events, I'd give it 5 stars. It puts it in after it's saved and you don't know it until it's buzzing at 1130p! Annoying, since I have to have calendar events override DND. I only want reminders if I put a reminder in.
I've used this for a long time. Great calendar app. Also, the widget is super handy. Always on my home screen. I've set it up this same way for three different phones. Edit 4/23/2022 Still going strong. Clean monthly interface. I honestly don't know what I would do without a calendar on my phone. This one is leaps and bounds better than the android default.
Excellent calendar app with great flexibility in setting up reminders, allowing for several different notifications for each calendar entry. Allows for including addresses in the calendar entry so that you can just tap on the address and have a navigational map pop up. Easy to use, very reliable, incredibly flexible in allowing choice in which entries might be shared and which are private.
Pretty good compared to Informant, my current calendar. However, after a while I couldn't use the app because an intrusive ad for Candy Crush hijacked my screen and I couldn't get it to close. Had to restart. This happened more than once. I get that they have to have ads to support them but these ads are waaaay too intrusive. Gonna uninstall.
Absolutely fantastic. The organization of how the information is displayed has been revolutionary for me. I have had problems in the past using calendar/todo apps, but this one opened a door for me. Downside is it's not also on apple. I had to get an iPad recently for work and I DESPERATELY want to have this app syncing between the both of them. It would make my life 1000% better. To the Devs: Please, please, please can you look into an apple version of the app?
Other than the new phone issue, AWESOME!!! awesome Not awesome. Just got a new phone. Doesn't trasnfer most of my events and tasks!!!! This has to improve. I love this app enough to take my time to recreate my events BUT if this isn't fixed by the time I need a new phone.... bye bye Business Calendar. .... and I think I even PAID for the upgraded version! I see red!
Excellent! I have tried several calenders. This is by far the best. I can plan my shifts and use different colours to highlight appointments and social functions. This allows you to pick up any tasks quickly at a glance. Very easy to work offline. Highly recommended this APP.
Please add an option to configure widgets without having to always display the settings button or exporting and importing and manually removing the button again. Edit: How is this helpful when you do not want to display a header and also do not want to see the buttons in it? Also: would be cool to be able to configure the displayed date range of the calendars for widgets. Edit 2: as i described before exporting and importing is cumbersome and it would be way easier through the settings. Agenda
Very good calendar. It's easy to make changes to suit the different needs and preferences of different people. Excellent reminder(s) settings. Seamless sync. Easy to add, modify or remove tasks. This is an all around, very good Calendar.
I liked this at first but why is it not accepting the times? I put the correct time but when I click on the date to check it sometimes the time is an hour off. I've missed appts because of this error. Also the app adds its own holidays on. I don't need to know that's its Easter or Martin Luther kind day. It clogs up my reminder area. Very frustrating. I can't change it in settings
Can't live without this! A very powerful app with lots of features and very customizable. Perhaps not the best for a beginner, but when you've gotten frustrated with your basic calendar this is what you want. EDIT: I keep finding new uses for the features.
App started freezing when I try to move a task by a fixed time. Please fix. Update: issue seems to have been resolved, somehow. Please add the ability to navigate from a task sub-item to the task itself from search results. I am sure that such a feature is available in all robust outliners
Best, most customizable calendar I've used. Way better than all native calendars and even the Google one. Nothing bad to say about it. Pro version is 1000% worth it. Been using it for many years now after many years searching for the perfect one prior to that. I talk about it all the time! Get this app!!
Excellent calendar. It has replaced Google calendar app on my device because it's so much more powerful and versatile. I really like the different views which help you see properly what's coming up and when, for a selected period. Tons more other features to long to list here.
I have been using this app since I started my small business last fall. This has turned out to be an essential asset to managing my jobs. Its simple, self explanatory in use. I had know idea it would become my right arm. The more I've used it, the more I've discovered. Most of all. Its free. I haven't noticed any ads. I highly recommend this app for the small business person, who might not now their way around more sophisticated apps of this type. Thumbs up to it developers. I give it 10 stars
Really wanted to give 5 stars but lack of attachments is a big issue. I frequently have attachments in diary appointments in outlook, such as meeting agendas, but these don't synchronise across to the app. Very frustrating.
I liked this app for the task list widget up until recently. Features that used to be standard are now premium. I am considering uninstalling if this gives me enough trouble, because I am not suddenly paying for something that I had for free for months.
After using the trail version I decided to purchase the full version. Could still use some improvements but overall this is a very useful calendar application. I would like to be able to print out the monthly calendar without having the tasks included. The more I use it the better it gets.
I really enjoy this calendar app. I've tried many and I've stayed with this. I haven't tried the paid version (pro), which seems to have some good options (just don't want to pay for yet another app to get full benefits). The unpaid version has everything you need. (Update: I've paid for the Pro version because I really like this app. I like the added benefits of the Pro version).
My wife and I share gmail calendars in this great program. It does everything we need a calendar to manage. We sync our appointments so each knows what appointments the other has coming up and each day. So we don't double book anything. We highly recommend this program to anyone looking to do the same thing as we do.
On my previous phones, this was the best ever calendar, because of its widgets (the week view no-one else has)! However, since I changed my phone to the Samsung s21fe for some reason the calendar app has stopped syncing up with my work account and I have to manually sync it and restart the widget to get the updated agenda. I've missed several meetings because of this!
