Business Calendar Pro

I have enjoyed using this app on my phone for years and finally recently upgraded to the Pro version. I am sad that I cannot load it onto my laptop for a completely cohesive business experience. I suppose I will have to toggle back and forth between more clunky calendar apps. Please conquer this last frontier for the best version of your app!

I've used BC now for at least 8 years, syncing multiple calendars to several devices, and find it reliable and easy to use. It's far more attractive than others and easy to show lots of detail especially in week view. Excellent.

In the Month view in the app, the date shows in the top left corner of the day box. In the widget, the date shows up in the bottom left corner of the date box. I have made several scheduling mistakes because of this inconsistency.

When you are offline or having poor connection, your changes get simply lost!! We tested that on several devices and the same terrible experience. It's very unreliable

I wish more colors were available. Also, I would like to be able to have the bar normally used for an all day event be able to be used for an hourly event. I do that anyway, but the reminders come at midnight, rather than the appointment time.

Been using this for years and love it. Did something happen recently? I am not getting ANY NOTIFICATIONS anymore. All apps work fine, but not getting anything from this app. All calendar reminders do not show up?

I started using this years ago and can't see myself ever switching. Lots of options, but simple interface. It's perfect, in my opinion.

Works very well 99% of the time. Wish they had calendar backup/restore. I lost a lot of historical entries when all my data got wiped out. Not sure what happened. Also I was unable to edit when going back to daylight savings time. End date got set before start date. I had to edit in another calendar to set end date before returning to this app. Over all this is the best calendar app I have used. I wish they had a windows version or a Android emulator for Windows.

Oddly enough, I'm not entirely sure what benefit the Pro version gives. I was accidentally using the older version because I forgot to update my widgets. And equally oddly the older version seems to have more configuration capability. I'm in the unenviable position of being completely unable to see the blue text in my month view widget and can't change it. I'll give this 4 stars once there's an update to cure that. Other than this I find this excellent and still far better than the stock one on my phone

I have been using this calendar app for a few years now, and I really like most of its features, obviously, or wouldn't still be using it. I do wish there was a way to schedule repeating things in other increments, i.e., every 2 weeks, etc. The only other problem I've had is that if I fly to other time zones, & don't set my phone settings to not change time zones, it changes everything in my calendar going forward to the new time zone, requiring manual, 1 by 1 corrections, which is a pain!

UPDATE: it's working fine now. Missing a recurring work meeting. But I don't think any of the issues have to do with the app itself, rather something with Android (not) syncing calendars. BC2 didn't work for me. Kept crashing as soon as I gave it permission to access my calendar. This app, on the other hand, was SUPER easy to setup. Okay... Quick update: I'm able to see all events from my outlook calendar EXCEPT a few. I can't figure out what those few have in common.

I appreciate the ease of using this app as opposed to that which came with my phone. I especially like the calculator-like keyboard instead of the barrel-like rolling method of selection. The app syncs perfectly with Google calendar, so everything's backed up on my PC and tablet. The option to make templates for similar kinds of appointments is most helpful.

This app is generally great. It has improved over there last 2 years and performs consistently. There are times that events get put on 2 different calendars so it looks like I have 2 appointments. I can't figure out why that happens when I only enter the info once. It is very convenient that I can make a meeting a video meeting easily.

This is a purchased app. In the past, it gave satisfactory performance. Unfortunately, recent performance has been disappointing. Despite reinstalling the apps a few times, all the calendar inputs have been unstable. Sometimes it gives me duplicate similar inputs, sometimes inputs deleted from my laptop and yet it still appear on the apps. 😔 the update is not reliable. I am giving 3 stars for the past good performance, otherwise would be 1 star because all the issues still not rectify.

This calendar program has more options than you can shake a stick at. I like the way that I can toggle the way it looks between time blocked out, and the text of each individual appointment. One feature it does not have that I would find immensely helpful is if I tried to schedule something into a Time block that already had an appointment assigned to it, the program would alert me that I was trying to double book myself.

The only calendar app I'm willing to use at this point. So simple and easy to use. Makes scheduling AND rescheduling a cinch as the app gives you the ability to simply move things around and copy and paste for quick event creation. Plus the highly customizable nature of the app's interface makes it all worthwhile. This is to me by far the best calendar app around. Period!

This is the best calendar i have tried so far. Its functionality is very good and when coupled with the tasks program, you achieve a great resource. I am using the previous version to the most recent because I don't like the newer methods of data inputting, but overall a package thats very intuitive and simple to use, but at the same time, powerful.

This app has been repeatedly "stopping"/shutting itself down before I can even try to do anything with it. And when it does let me stay on long enough to use it, I find it has removed the option to edit just one instance of a recurring event. So if a weekly meeting is canceled one time only, for example, my only choices are to either cancel ALL meetings ever or cancel none at all. Really messed up because I paid for this app and wanted to recommend it to others. The widget won't work either!! 😤

I've been using this app for several years and across several phones. It's versatility in allowing me to customize, to color code 8 (more possible, i just only need the 8) different calendars, as well as to sync it across three separate phones in order to keep our busy family organized had been a lifesaver. The companion "tasks" app allows me to set reminders without adding an appointment to the calendar. Worth the upgrade from the free version!!!

I've been using Business Calendar Pro for several years and love it. My favourite feature is the coloured categories so I can see at a glance what's happening throughout the week, and that if my phone is down for any reason, I can access my calendars online. My usage is fairly basic in terms of available functions, but it's perfect for me.

This is a great app in general, but the 4x4 widget, which I use as the main app access is very flimsy. Every time I turn my Samsung Note 9 off/on, and every time there is a system (NOT app) update, the widget crashes (it says "widget is loading" but it never loads) and needs to be reinserted. This is very irritating and unfortunate, given the otherwise great app.

Business Calendar stopped popping up reminders for events. Not sure when this happened, but it no longer matters if I create an event in Thunderbird/Lighting, Google Calendar (website), or directly on my phone, setting a pop-up reminder does nothing. I removed Business Calendar to see if Google Calendar (the Android app) would do pop-ups and it works fine. Shame because BC's widgets look better than Google's.

I love this app! Have used it for years. I like the layout better than Google calendar for being able to see all my events on my phone screen at a glance. It syncs well with Google. When i got a new phone and had trouble reinstalling the paid version of it, the developer replied to my message and helped me sort it out. It's great! 😀

Calendar entries missing. Even the ones entered moments ago does not show in the template. Unreliable.

Not just a great useful calendar - Quick response support by email. I'm a several year user. Real support combined with thoughtful updates - over past years continuing into now, 2019 - seem to be less and less available, or only available with elaborate hurdles, or the new irritating standby many companies are using to avoid providing real service: Getting sent to User Forums and having to wade through multiple pages hoping my question not just shows up but shows up with a usable answer.

I find this to be an excellent product. Tried many other calenders including the free version of business calendar which I liked so much I upgraded to the paid pro version. Also I would like to mention I had the chance to experience the customer support and I was pleasantly suprised to find it excellent. In my case they exceeded my expectations.

Only one thing that I do not like about this app is that I cannot set the day event to s maximum of 50 days. The developer says that I should use version 2, but I do not like the layout of that version.

Use this calendar regularly however something changed my language from English to an oriental (Korean, Chinese,?) font. I have no idea how to get back to English. Was I hacked or did I accidentally touch the wrong item. HELP
