BusRadar for Madison

Perfect for making my iOS friends jealous! Seriously, great app! I wish Madison Metro would do more to support it. Alerts from Metro's website, iOS, chrome OS, website, , route finding, the ability to select multiple routes at once, and a tablet with this app loaded at every major stop are on my wishlist.

Edit (1/14/2020) 5 stars bc it works in Android 10 now! One feature died where the links to bus schedules for specific stops don't work anymore now tho :( I love this app but have to give it 3 stars because it stopped working after Android 10

It's a great app, an incredible app, unfortunately it's no longer being maintained, and the bus stops listed on the app no longer match the actual bus stops. It's very unfortunate 😰

Helpful app, but it needs an update. Several stops have been permanently closed, and new stops haven't been added.

No longer displays "favorites" since Android 10 update. This is a major loss of functionality.

Option to view list of favorite stops has disappeared with Android update. I used to use this app daily. Would have rated 4-5 stars if this glitch didn't happen

Like this app only thing I can use to look up my bus times and routes because of no ride guide book it's a little more difficult for me but it does work

Sadly not updated anymore. The westbound route 15 doesn't work anymore

This is a great app. I only realized how much I used it when it stopped working a few weeks ago. It's working again and I could not be happier.

This was the first bus app I used in Madison years ago and it's still the best.

It would be helpful if the scheduled arrival time for buses also showed up as smaller text below the anticipated arrival time. Drivers tend to speed up if they're falling behind schedule, making the anticipated time inaccurate. I can't tell you how many buses I've missed because I checked the app, plan my morning around that time, show up five minutes "early" to the bus stop, and the bus has already come and gone.

Edit: Estimated arrival times are no longer reliable. Multiple times Bus Radar has said the bus will arrive in two or three minutes while after I get to the stop, and it turns out the bus left minutes ago. I have been late for multiple things because of this inaccuracy. Fantastic app! Usually very accurate and up to date. The only thing I would change is making the icon for your favorite stops different from the standard blue bus icon on the map.

Often times it will tell me that there is not a bus at the transfer point when in fact there is. The arrival times at the transfer points aren't showing either. Please fix this.

Commlnly estimates 5 minutes off either way, allowing you to 1) miss your bus or 2) wait outside forfar longer than you should. My fave is when they keep bumping the time ahead by one minute when the bus sipposedly arrives in one minute.
