It works but it's installed in the /bin directory instead of /xbin,which it supposed to be. Also, if you're rooted with Magisk, you're better off with the busybox module in download section of Magisk manager app. It's installed systemless-ly,so if you messed up the installation(idk if it's even possible to mess up), you can start over without worries of hard bricking because busybox on magisk doesnt permanently change system files. It used to work on old android version but not new ones like Q/R

I've always used this in root application for OLDER devices. It's kinda useless for newer devices but entirely. If you decide to root have a good reason. 16gb or larger internal memory recommended. What is desperately needed is a version of DRIVE DROID that has root permission access to flash Win 10 onto laptops that don't have disc drives. But aside from this verify of busy box is the ONLY version of it's kind don't bother using the ones that look like red card board boxes.

Don't know why people are saying that this app doesn't work.Works fine for me. Also, many people are saying that it keeps on uninstalling, kindly change the folder directory, moreover the app also shows a message before installing which clearly says that it will be uninstalled after reboot.

This app is bad. It doesn't install anything, it just freezes my system when I hit install and it just loops the checking system thing. After this app, I installed the busybox for Android by jrummy and it worked flawlessly. Bad app!!!

I have been using this program for many years. It has always been fast and efficient for me. Used with phones, tablets and tv boxes from android 2.3 to 10. You must have proper root access...

It keeps telling me "there was a problem opening a shell with root access" and gives me some suggestions to fix the problem. But its suggestions are more complicated than error it self :|

This has always been the best busybox unfortunately in android 10 and later you can't use it. You need to make it into magisk module like osmosis. It works with ViPER4Android better thats why im saying it.

Great app if your in do devloping and or editing or makeing changes to apps and games ( root required) if rooted open app and install the credentials. If it say failed or not enough space ignore it and install anyway.. A needed app for luckypatcher users as wll

it probably works. came here because of macro droid and quick video recorder, with zero interest to root my device. turns out i don't need it, could figure out an easier way to stop the prices by using notification access... 😁

Im sure it's lovley for those who have root privliges, but Idont have a computer so ADB is out of the question and Ican not risk data just like that. Please release a vershion busy box for android that does not require root. I would not post this, but it seems liks every method to partition an SD card on android requires root access or a windows computer. Im stuck. The one partition manager i just got that is not asking for root is asking for busy box. ?

This is a waste of time....after neing downloaded when i want to open it a notification appears on the screen saying about tey removing the superuser and blah blah blah

Omg! Unreasonably demanding for upgrade to Pro. Basically, you upgrade or forget the wasted time installing it the Basic. Try giving the users a taste void of your greedy hand in their pockets first mate!

OK but app too outdated for modern android and busybox binary not updated as much as the totally free fdroid version. Doesn't detect busybox in /vendor/xbin or /odm/xbin for example.

can someone help me how to actually install this busybox. what does it mean by removing the superuser permissions, how to do that? hope can get a reply asap and a step by step on how to enable this busybox

I have stopped using this after Oreo but before that this app was a must have for me. I stumbled upon this gem and had to give the star it deserves.

Worst program.cant get in without rooting.which I don't wanted. Atlest developer should mention it ,that it will not work untill to you have to root your device. Don't wait time I. Useless aap. I already waited .so my suggestion is don't want it. Thank you.

It was good back in the day, but since magisk and osmosis's module are available, this app is obsolete.

The best. Restores proper functionality in android that daft rom makers have removed.
