Butterfly Game
Explore the beautiful worlds of the butterfly, full of stunning flowers, plants and predators. Fly or walk to find flowers and drink their precious nectar.
The more nectar you drink the more colors you will have to paint your butterfly's wings. Full wing painting with dynamic nectar palette can be opened when landed to let you paint on your own wing designs.
This is a multiplayer social game so players are encouraged to chat to and even vote on other players wings. You can make caterpillars with other players, randomly mixing unlimited possibilities of new color and pattern variations for your own wing designs.
All flowers have different pollen amounts so fly about and explore the different flowers. If you happen to be a hungry caterpillar all the plants have different nutritional value based on their species so chomp away.
We aimed to make a fully immersive world from the butterfly's perspective. We will add more predators, this game is in ongoing development so expect more content to be added
- currently the Golden Pond level has a very hungry frog

Based on our experience of making lots of MMO games we wanted Butterfly game to be a peaceful and cooperative playing experience for players. The only dangers in the game are Non Player Characters with their own levels of complex multiplayer AI.
New wings can be unlocked by collecting Leaves (compass at up center screen) and also by getting upvoted from other players.
This game runs in tandem with our browser version so you can play your same butterfly both on pc or android, any time anywhere.

I love it! But there is some downsides...so it's randomly kicking me out of the 1st server like with the big tree, it's pretty annoying bc I can't play with many people anymore :( please fix it
I quite like the games made by Gamevial (FLAB3 and LIF). However, this game has some issues. Firstly, the controls are difficult to manage for me because I'm used to controls on the left side. Secondly, there doesn't seem to be much to do in the game besides painting wings which disappear later on. However, the graphics are decent and it's fun to meet old FLAB3 players here occasionally. Overall, a few fixes and this game would be amazing :)
This is a beautiful game with nice, realistic graphics. Even though it is a simple game, all you do is flutter around and collect nectar while trying to find a partner, it still captures the magic feeling of being a free butterfly. However, the controls are kind of in the way most of the time. 1st, for those who play on a laptop, you only use a joystick. 2nd, You are unable to fly very well if you cannot use a joystick with your right hand. And 3rd, the walking is broken. Thank you for reading.
I miss when Gamevial had Lif, Russia's Army, and FLAB, I'd do anything to go back to those days and play my childhood games again. I want to like this game but I can't. My number one complaint is the controls are insanely difficult. That and the painting aspect of the butterfly is an extremely painful process as well. It's a good concept, but it seems like the game was rushed.
I love the game but the only problem is the controls. Every time I press the forward button I just go around in circles and the camera angles are difficult to work with too, I personally think that you have made a lovely but I would prefer basic controls then something that is rely hard to work with.
The game so far seems beautiful, and I would love to see more. But I'm not sure if this is just an issue I'm having or if everyone is having. I keep getting kicked whenever I reach the server list, and I'm not sure if its just my device. My Wi-Fi connection is good enough, so could you please look into it? I do understand if it is just my phone :^ but other than that, the menu and music is wonderful ^^
Don't download this game, it keeps closing you out when u try to join a server, I'm sorry game creators but this happens to me too much.
I used to play this game, it is very good. But it is crashing when I try to join a server, please fix it. It worked once when I tried to join Golden Pond, but when I try to join a server the second time, it crashes with no reason. Please do fix.
I really love this game, but when I accidentally deleted the game, all my butterfly skins were gone when I installed it back, I would love it if you could add it where it saves your butterfly skins/wings when someone accidentally uninstalls the game. Anyways, it is still a great game and I have got a little leaves and stars back. Keep up the great work!
I would give it a 5 star rating but, there are some difficulties with setting up the butterfly and controls are a bit getting use to but besides that I think this would be a great graphical game! It deserves more stars and maybe one day this game will become an AMAZING game that everyone may like! I plan on its future to be like that!
EDIT #2: I believe that the number of leaves you have to get to unlock all the wings are outrageous. At the most, I would probably get about 30, but for the sake of the game and progression, can you make it that every 25 leaves you get the next set? So at 25, you unlock the first pair, at 50 you get the next, and so on going with 75, 100, 125. It would be much easier to obtain these wings and probably will get more diversity of butterflies in the game. Other than that, I love this game.
I like it but... there's some glitches like the camera keeps spining and you can't move or sometimes you can't see yourself. If you could fix these bugs it would boost my rate a lot. thanks!
This app is amazing, but the longer I play it, the more I get bored which is normal but I get furious because there's not much things that can kill you except from drowning and more. And the controls, they're a little confusing. Thanks!
This is a great and addicting game, and deserves more credit. The only thing I would change is the controls... It can get a little laggy too, but over all this is awesome. I love how you can design your butterfly.
I cant take pictures of my butterfly. when I press the button(the camera) it doesn't do anything and I have to get out if the server to get rid of it. please fix that because the wings are very beautiful and i want them saved in my picture gallery. the camera button does not work like its supposed to.
Its not...a bad game, its great! But...the controls are semi-inverted, and very dificult, i wont be playing anylonger, but, if you fixed the controls and stuff, i imagine this could be an amazing butterfly simulater -AKindCustomer
I love this game but there's a few problems with this game, one after a while the game gets boring, two the game has all the same stuff everywhere u go (Depending on the world/map your in) three the game hasn't gotten an update in 2 years. That's all I gotta say, please keep making more games
It's an old classic, although not perfect... it is nice to revisit and get creative with the designs and sometimes you run into the occasional entitled brat but really it's mainly pretty peaceful. Known it for years and still happy it's up!
I guess this game is fine but controls are kind of hard The paint butterfly thing is a bit hard (also for anyone who plays in the room with the big tree and cannot find the leaf, try fly up high and go to the tree if the leaf points to the tree and pay attention to the compass)
I don't know what happened here for the last time I played but the screen doesn't really connected to my Phone, I mean it's like the Screen Resolution is Bugged, I tried to fix it by changing its resolution, but it seems to be more ugly/worse... Help please? I love the game but two stars for now....
I used to play this but I tried to play it and my game crashed when I got to the world list
i have made a complaint. after seeing how many people including me. have experienced the black screen since this update and how many of us want the game back. hopefully something will be done. but i cant see that happening. loved this game very disappointed that i cant play anymore.
I love this game but the reason I gave it 3 stars is because its hard to control you gotta the controller! I really got mad cause it was hard to control it. second: Its hard to design please fix the game. Its very hard to control and design

Good game, but if youre painting your butterfly, then you become a caterpillar, you just cant move and the camera angle swings around and around and youre stuck, also, after a certain point you cant see your caterpillar.
It's good but the controls are a little hard to use that's why I'm doing 4 star also you guys should make a game where your a bird and you can choose what one you are and make it simular to this game and I'm just suggesting that.
This game is fun, but I can't even join most of the servers. I can enter golden pond, but old sycamore and the other kind of map the game just crashes. Just make it so that I can enter the other maps..
