Stressful first time experience. Not straightforward. If you make a payment through bank transfer there's no way to ensure automatic verification. You have to start sending mails and calling to inform them that you've paid but their customer care line is always busy and never connects. Irecharge and vtspass has the wallet option where you can fund your wallet and pay for bills from there. That's much better in my opinion.

This new upgraded app so far has a beautiful user interface and is extremely easy to use. Only time will tell just how robust it is, but so far, I'm impressed. I have been using BuyPower's service now for almost 2 years and their service has saved me driving out numerous times during weekends and in the late evening. The convenience of BuyPower is just amazing!

Easy and convenient to use. The app has made the process for buying electricity seamless. All it takes is a debit card and data. Only challenge I have is that it sometimes load slowly and when one edits the app to copy the OTP for transactions, the transaction times out. I hope this is fixed soon. Asides that, there's no other issue with this app and I'll recommend it for everyone who uses prepaid meters.

Terrible! I won't advise anyone to purchase power via this App. It's better to go queue up. I've always had issues with unsuccessful transanctions. The recent one is being debited when transaction was unsuccessful. Contacted the customer care department to send me an email after the customer care rep confirmed the transaction was unsuccessful, and was told it would take long for them to do that. My bank needs the email as an evident before my money could be reversed. Bad experience! 😔 😡

Good UI, keeps improving, kudos but there's a problem. A couple of weeks ago I complained about not being able to use my saved card but now the problem is I can't even save my card and use it for future transactions even after ticking the option before performing a card transaction, fix it please.

I could have easily given the app a 5-star rating but for two reasons. Firstly, of late my family finds it extremely difficult to load our token. It keeps saying 'link error' even when I'm standing in front of the metre. Secondly, getting the attention of their customer service agent is even a more difficult thing. So you'll be stuck with the problem for only God knows how long. If this continues, I may have to start looking for an alternative means of buying electricity.

I was advised that this is a safe and good app but I was debited and did not get a token!! This is my first time using it. No one picks the call and no one has called back. I hope I can get a refund or the token!!! Be careful!!! When I wrote the above, I thought I'd 'entered one-chance'...but they returned my repeated calls and sent me my tokens via SMS and emails. The caller, Basirat, was very apologetic and my issue was resolved. My 20mins of uncertainty was unwarranted. Thanks BuyPower!!!!

It's been a fair experience so far. I will suggest 3 things: . Make this platform accessable offline. Essential platforms like this, shouldn't be tie to online only, time of emergencies. . The UI is a little bit cluttered. The simpler the UI/UX, the better. Especially lay users, or infirmed customers. . Allow the platform to store registered users' data, for swift transactions. Often time I needed to re-enter my card details, on my phone? These are reasons not giving 5 Stars. Thanx!

My experience with buypower app has been a great one, I haven't been disappointed once. I have save time and energy of going about recharging my meter just by useing buypower app at the comfort of my home any time any day. Keep the good work .

My unit is being deducted whenever I purchase from this app which has never been the case when I purchase from other app or NEPA office directly. For example: I had 5.74unit leftover on my meter and I purchased 33.9units. The total should be 39.64units but 37.02 was updated as my new balance. I attempted sending a message and calling the contact in the app but no response.

Ease of use makes this app great. Incidentally, the local payment office is next door to me, practically next door but have no reason to go there to make payment which I do in the comfort of my apartment. The only negative: could not add my meter in my personal residence in another state.😢 Otherwise, great app and easy to use.

It's a good App, but you can also build something on it like "Print your Utility bill" so we can always print or share a document that is tenable to Banks in case of opening or reactivation of account. In that option you should allow the user to input his name, flat number or room number. Because it's landlord details that is showing here. It's just a suggestion through But overall the app is amazing and easy to use.

With all respect... This is the best app to get your electricity on with no stress at all I've bn using it up to or more than two good years now .... Never felt disappointed. Great work... But I wish there is way you can design it, so we don't need to load the meter. Once we pay through this app... Our meter is recharge directly

Best electricity payment app ever! For real. Extremely fast and convenient. And tokens can always be recovered without the need for writing mails to customer service. I love it.

Since I downloaded the app, I've never had a successful power purchase. Always saying invalid account. Quite useless, inefficient and time wasting. Servers are always down. One error or the other must occur. To write this review,I've attempted using the app more than 7 different times. Once again,this app is useless. Unfortunately, when I use GTBank app, it goes. Once again, it's quite useless. Wish I could give 0 star

This App is a scam. They got my account debited and didn't provide my token, I even try to contact them via phone number no one is responding they are just wasting my time, I also try to send a message via the support email, one you click on send the page will go blank without any sign that your message will deliver.. This is too poor, please guys be careful.

I was sceptical to use the app becos of some nasty reviews I before I downloaded. To my greatest joy, it's the best thing that has come my way this year. It is seamless and guarantees instant recharge from wherever you happen to be so long as you have money in your account and internet. You can also borrow to repay later which I did, though the only issue I still have with that is date and mode of repayment as I expected it to be deducted from my account which still haven't been made.

The app is great, but it doesn't save my card details. I have ticked the box "use card for future transactions". For every transaction, i have to type in my complete card details which is quite stressful.

Very innovative and very convenient. Thanks Buypower.ng. No more having to travel miles to buy power, no more queues, no more delays, no more having to wait until a certain time for offices to open or be stranded for light after offices have closed. Even in the middle of the night, I can buy power... Yay!!!

The app is user friendly and has seamless steps. I didn't have to memorise my meter no. because the had it stored for me and prompted me if I want to use the same meter no. and payment details. It just shows that they have thought through the customer journey to define and develop Steps to satisfy customers. Well done and I hope to see more improvement. 👍

It's okay, keep it up, but the only challenge is when you are asked to produce a utility bill, thou I know one can print it out but when electrical company comes, they are not willing to accept that one recharges on line, except for that it's more convenient to recharge from the comfort of your home. Fantastic application. It is now possible to buy power in 2 minutes! The most amazing thing is that, it stores your transaction and and makes it printable at any time. The transaction receipt becomes your utility bill and it is acceptable in banks and all other places that request for utility bill. The care line is very responsive. I just hope that you won.t drop this standard.

It was easy to buy power with ATM card, everything was running smoothly. But now, it's difficult to subscribe with card. I don't know what has happened, but restore your former mode of operation.

Edited *I was debited four times for one transaction* I paid for a token via the e-channel (debit card). While the page was loading and taking time, I refreshed it, only to be debited four times. Two tokens as against one were sent to me afterwards while the two extra charges were reversed later. I believe you need to work on the payment glitches.

A good platform that eases purchase and addition of power units from the comfort of your home. It ensures connections are avoided. Buy what ever unit is convenient for your household anytime. No hazels and no sweating. Buy as you desire and anytime. Good for everyone and for the energy supply agencies. Your prepaid meter however must be performing accurately to sustain the transactions. Renewal of the platform through google play is essential.

My experience with BuyPower has been a great one. It has save me a lot of stress going out. The idea of looking for my ATM card is no more there, it's already saved. Thank you for the upgrade.

Very good app, saves you the stress of going out at odd hours to buy electricity. Rating you 4 stars because there's obvious room for improvement, for example, we need to be able to calculate the actual amount of units that out money can buy. Again, really good app

YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST I just recently started using this app for my power bills payment, and have never experienced a single hitch or problem; unlike when I was using my bank app to pay. Honestly your app is so simple, so smooth and so effective I am so thrilled every time I use it. The way it stores the details of my debit card after the first purchase so I don't need to input the card details again thereafter is so cool. Please keep up the good work.
