Why should a ticket need 1 minute until it's active? So many times in my life I'd stamp a ticket 3 seconds before the doors shut, but now I need to wait 1 minute? Seems like it's better to just buy a normal ticket. How about you do it this way: when you buy a ticket and want to immediately activate it then it takes 1 minute, but when you already have purchased tickets in the app, then to not wait? That seems more realistic. Until then you get 1* for making this app worse
This app is useless! I tried renting bike, scooter and moped and none of them worked. Unreliable in time of need, thanks for nothing! "This service is currently not available due to outstanding payments. Please contact our payment service provider LogPay by bla bla bla.....
It's not secure. Blatant theft.. I got a message that said payment failed because I was changing my credit card for a new one, then they started spamming my email to pay them 3.8 euros, even though I did not get a ticket since the payment failed.
Can't add payment method. Being refused again and again, no matter what payment method i choose. Already contacted logpay and bvg support 5 days ago. Just got a ticket number.
All payment options blocked by payment provider. Literally unusable. update: Contacted support, support redirected me towards the support for their payment provider. Their paymeny provider didn't come back to me, it has been 14 days since.
I'm unable to add my payment method for weeks now. Not getting any help as well from customer support. Update: I'm able to add payment method in other app called BVG Tickets.
Map doesn't work anymore, it's just a blank white space, can't find scooters or bikes that way. This is happening on Fairphone 3. Edit: complete phone restart made it work. Seems like it's a problem with my phone rather than the app.
Berlin, a place with some many expats, yet our Aufenthaltstitel is not accepted for verification process. Just not what we expect from BVG.
Promising but needs improvement wrt usability. Great app concept. I love the intuitive way routes and their different stages are visualized. The one feature I'm really missing is being able to click on those stages and have the map zoom in to show this part of the route like GMaps does. The devs seem very attentive and communicate well with their audience. This is definitely a new app, but it seems to receive much attention, so I'll be looking forward to improvements. Nice work people,
Interesting idea, the problem is that contrary to what is being advertised, that all means of shared mobility are supported in the app, in fact only one provider is affiliated per means of transportation. It could still display the others and link to their apps. Additionally the app seems to not be up to date, even when it comes to the metro schedules!. The other day I got the suggestion to travel with U2 to a direction whose platform is closed for months
Payment problem. I tried to pay for ticket with credit card and PayPal but doesn't work...
the must have app to move around in Berlin.nl great design, great compatibility. the only downside is the support, but it is assured by companies so it's not on jelbi
The app records the wrong time for using the bike so u end up getting overcharged. Another issue is the lack of a support hotline to get quick support when you need it. Nice idea but clearly still needs a lot more improvement. Better to wait with using it and use the apps of the individual providers until the flaws are ironed out.
Stops working when I need it the most. "Something unexpected happened" is not an error that user can deal with. Also, payments are very slow and they're forced to be done on the spot which causes lots of issues with the driver. Any reason to not have a pre-purchased set of tickets (short trip)? P.S. Contacted support on the same day, no response so far (9 days passed)
The payment gateway that this app uses is terrible. I've had multiple problems due to this and had to pay a lot due to issues from their side. Even after clearing everything, I can not book tickets through the app.
Same issue that other users have reported, didn't realize that my prepaid card had no money, but still could buy my tickets and received an invoice for a cost 60% higher of the original cost. Tried to contact them through email, absolutely no response. Will definitely not use it again
Best app of many for Berlin Transportation
Flaws when parking your NextBike. The app works fine when you rent a bike from the Nextbike service, but it does not inform you when you step out of the zone and you try to park there. I did not have to pay the 20 eur fee because it was my first time, but it would be good to receive an alert if you try to park out of the allowed area. Thanks!
Terrible experience. After trying to buy a daily ticket the app freezed, and as a result I was charged twice for the same ticket. Furthermore, the amount was not taken from my credit card, and after a few days I got a fee for not having paid it! Charging the users because your app is malfunctioning is very wrong!
I can't even connect a payment method, and each time I try I get an unhelpful generic error message that "something went wrong". I contacted App Support, who just forwarded me on to the 3rd party payment operator, who asked me for a bunch of data to confirm my credit rating. I've never had an issue connecting a payment method to any other app or service, including BVG Tickets. Forget this junk, the BVG Tickets app does the job way better if you want to use public transport in Berlin.
I purchased 4 short trip tickets via this app and these were the results: - First purchase confirmed in-app, nothing charged, no ticket shown in app. - Second and third ticket confirmed and my PayPal was charged, but no ticket shown in-app. - Fourth ticket finally confirmed, charged and shown in-app. In the event of running into an inspector with such a broken system I can only hope they are trained to handle a situation like this properly. If I get charged and receive a confirmation e-mail too then of course I will use the ticket, whether the app displays it or not. Please fix this.
After some time app started giving error that there are open unpaid travels. It didn't allow me to buy tickets. So I can't rely on the app to buy tickets. And after a while I had to pay some ridiculous amount which is requested by mail. So basically I won't use it anymore
Zero customer care. I received an email informing me that a certain amount would be automatically withdrawn together with a "late payment damages" fee, despite the error is on your side. First you could notify a customer about an unsuccesful payment and offer other payment options. I recommend every Berlin vistior to buy tickets through classic, rusty, old ticket machines at U/S-Bahn stations. You will avoid risking troubles and scumbag practices by LogPay, who manages payments in Jelbi.
This is a good app but I have two complaints: 1. Why do I have to activate at least one ticket immediately after buying a 4 pack? That makes no sense. What if I just want to be prepared for the future? 2. Why do I keep getting logged out? It's really annoying to have to type in my email and password every time. At least implement biometrics to make life easier...
Tried 4 different Germany-based payment methods: paypal, 2 credit cards and SEPA. All get rejected with a non-descriptive error. The app sounds great, but seems there's no way for me to actually use it.
