BXW App

BXW app is developed by the ICT4BXW project. The ICT4BXW project was started in early 2018, by a group of partners to tackle BXW by the use of mobile phones. BXW is a bacterial disease that affects all types of bananas and is known locally as Kirabiranya. Farmer Promoters use the BXW app to collect up-to-date knowledge and information about BXW. Why? Because in Rwanda the banana disease BXW has far-reaching consequences not only for farmers but for the food and nutritional security of their families and those dependent on the crop as a source of food
