As programmer looking to make a switch to c++, this course is for absolute beginners. Do not waste your money on the pro level if you have any level of prior experience. I don't plan on getting the advanced either due to the fact $7 got me less than 1 hour of lessons on here. Devs- if you want to add value to what you're providing, combine the languages into 1 "pro" level cost. Don't split it up into separate apps like this.
Do NOT waste your money! I purchased the Pro version and never got it to work, emailed them a few times for assistance and they said it should work and it did not. Never got a refund either. Just avoid this app altogether, and find a better place to learn C++.
The app is good for learning, quite impressive, but when you go to the, complier section, it just crashes down and stops working, pls solve this issue, or else this app is the best
I appreciate the devs response so I'll expand on the 1 star review. This app offers fewer lessons than code codecademy and obtained who knows what information through my Google login. Happy to help you profit off my personal data but you gave nothing back. 2nd, I wanted to delete my account but the best I got was a logout, delete app, and now I need to email in to have my info deleted. This is the kind of sleezy nonsense Facebook engages in. Thanks but no thanks. Found alternative.
Thanks for the app. Working great, BUT can I ask for a feature to be added? I enjoy the text to speech, but sometimes I don't want to press the screen everytime she stops reading to open the next line or instructions. Can you add an option to enable or disable auto read? Meaning, it'll read the lines, wait a second or two, then read the next line without hitting a button. Forcing the user to hit "next" at the very end of each page (typically about four or five lines of teaching) is still good.
Seems like a promising app, but I was annoyed to find that after wasting my time on all of the intros (that are skippable, which is annoying for someone who already has experience in coding) I then get a popup to have to buy the premium version to even start learning. I understand that they have to make money, but it's not like this app is a unique concept. There are plenty others with the same service for free.
Amazing teaching app. Only on the basics at the moment but its being explained very well (did not expect this amount of dedication on an android app but i certainly appreciate you guys! )
I wish the developer well. The app has promise and I like the style of learning. Grammatically, the English could use some polish but it's not bad. I'd certainly be happy to assist with that if possible. I chose not to purchase the Pro version as I didn't see anything to make this app stand out significantly from any of the other resources I have previously purchased or already own. I think this would be ideal for the most rudimentary beginner.
Most of the course requires pro access. App contains lots of useless and frankly condescending dialog that you have to endlessly click through, but the most annoying is the level of English. It is appallingly bad, with tons of grammatical errors. After a while it frustrates you so much. If so little attention was paid to proof reading the basic dialog, what will the quality of the rest of the content be like and how could I ever consider paying for the pro version?. Uninstalled.
Will update if things change I wasn't really interested at first but after seeing almost every comment getting a 'reply' I felt that the developer's were putting in some effort. It opened smoothly no over spam of ads. While doing the course it keeps motivating you with positive feedback. Which I found annoying but when it got more difficult I started to love it. Thank you developer's and I hope your not having a hard time either. :)
Very good, especially that i have classes and nobody has computers, would be good if ported to IOS, but App store costs $100 for app releases, overall very good
Sends up to several notifications per day, some of which tell you that you have a limited time (usually less than 24 hours) to get 95% off of "pro." That 95% discount never goes away. They have very generic illustrations that are apparently well known people like Bjarne Stroustrup... which they narrate in the first person, in broken English. Too much functionality is behind a paywall, and the functionality that isn't is questionable from what I've seen.
I paid for the pro version, however I am not able to access the pro content. The app still asks me to pay for the pro version. This doesn't make any sense. Kindly fix this asap
I am doing a C++ course on Udemy and this app helps me to be thorough with what I learn. I can revise what I learn anywhere, anytime. Great app. Considering buying it! 😊
So I can't proceed past the introduction. I seem to be an infinite introduction loop. I did try to clear memory & try again which didn't work. I uninstalled then reinstalled which didn't work as well. I have a samsung 8.4 2020. (Update) after tinkering with my developer options, I found that turning off (don't keep apps active) & putting background processes as standard fixed the problem for some reason. I'll tinker with this to see how many background processes I can keep while avoiding issues
Very limited. If you are absolute beginner then it's fine but this is false advertising as it states "beginner or expert". If you hide lessons behind premium, then show what will I get if I purchase, not just state "unlock everything". If you are intermediate or an expert, hard pass on this. This app includes about 40% of the C++.
Everything is ok but it is little bit just wanted to fast content.otherwise it is very helpful for students who are not understand programing.
The beginning of the course feels like it was made for elementary school students... I get the need for some introduction; some history and background information about C++, but the way of presenting it, in tiny snippets of text, is extremely tedious. Not to mention, it's full of grammatical errors. This doesn't inspire confidence in the app. Besides, I'm more of a top-down learner anyway. Sorry, but this is a pass for me.
Interface is nicely laid out. Topics are clear (not exactly the best english but it passes). Good for a refresher course If you know some C++ already. Remember to study different resources to better your learning experience. There is no single resource that can teach you everything the way you want to learn.
Have to unlock Pro after 33% of the courses totally equivalent to 2 minutes of a beginner tutorial on Youtube. Very basic quizzes ask about facts you read just 10 seconds ago. Videos are mostly colorful cartoon pictures and very little learning material. Has Programs, a short list of things included in most free website/video courses - can also easily just be Googled such as "c++ how to sort numbers" or "c++ doubly linked list". Hah, got same copy-pasted reply as every other critical reviewer.
So, unsure why, but this app kept sending me those typical whimsy "Come back" notifications. At first it was cute, but after I tried to disable them, they came at me around every 5 minutes! Even while I was using the app, it'd send me those. Sorry, but I don't feel confident in someone's ability to teach coding if things like that coming from them.
I'm taking introduction to programming logic and this helps me very well. I thought I'll be too old to learn something new but this c++ course helps.
The free parts of the courses looks really good and promissing. However the pro part is really minimal and you run trough al the courses in like 10 minutes. No depth at all, just a quick example and a few questions. I feel scammed, dont waste your money on this.
I have paid for the pro version however I am not able to access my pro content. I also sent my receipt GPA number and email....plz fix this issue ASAP and do something so I can able to use my pro content...
The concepts are greatly and it's easy to understand. But I just noticed that after three topics the rest were for pro. I have problems to upgrade to pro and I was pretty frustrated, well. You can actually cut of pro areas in the topic learning and put it on something else so it will cover your revenue.
Love this app. The way of teaching is very good and friendly. It starts teaching from the ground basics. It tells very deeply. Love the Way of teaching.Going to recommend this app to the world. 💕 I would request the developers to develop more apps on mathematics, chemistry, and also on other topics.
Really a good app. I learned much more about programming that's i can't learn in school r other places therefore i give him 5☆☆☆☆☆
App is user-friendly, no cluster of ads, and no mistakes, that I've seen, and it explanations are very understandable. But you have a pay wall after data storing, so if you want to learn any of the advanced subjects you have to pay, I would rather watch an ad or 2 just to unlock the advance subjects but at last isn't the case.
