C Spire Emergency Alerts
C Spire Emergency Alerts allows C Spire customers who do not have WEA compatible smartphones to receive WEA text notifications in the event local or national emergencies such as tsunamis, earthquakes, severe weather and Amber Alerts. If you’re located in an affected area or travel into one while the WEA alert is active, you’ll receive free notification messages tailored for your local area. The WEA system is local to the county level, so you won’t receive messages that don’t apply to you.
C Spire Emergency Alerts requires a non-WEA compatible smartphone running Android 2.1 or higher. If your phone is WEA compatible, you don’t need to install this app.

This app went off 7 times in two hours. O and it was 1 in the morning all the way to 3 a.m. just for a flash flood warning. Yeah, I'm deleting it.
Did not send notification until 3 hours had passed. It was an amber alert. It is picky about when it sends a notification.
As soon as this app downloaded, I received an emergency alert. Accurate. Loud. Clear text. So far, very pleased.
One time it issued a thunderstorm warning and i got 5 minutes before
Ive been getting weather alerts off my tv but this app isnt giving me any alerts what if my power gose out I need alerts to come in and yes I have them checked in the options well im getting flash flood warnings but not getting the others warnings
We've had flashflood warnings and tornado warnings and the app worked like a charm
It doesn't give me any option for any options, just the you have no alerts screen. ... I've tried tapping for any options, it only sends me back to this page. ..? Please advise.
I am using a Google nexus 5 and it just constantly crashes and then never works...need a giant fix for this!!!!!!
I can select a chosen alert tone, but it doesn't play it, so I can't find out what it will sound like. Is that normal or just the way it's working with my phone?
Have had this app since August 2014 not an alert yet
I haven't received a single alert and we've had 2 amber alerts and several storm alerts, why post a app that doesn't work??
This app is really useful
On My Samsung Galaxy Prevail it gave me a alert but upgrade it please so i can see a alert what is it about and add a setting plz and great job

I got an alert from weather channel. This app sent alert with out a sound warning. Tried to set tones when first down loaded..no tones, might be phone.
Doesn't work ever. I have sent in the notes and telling them that nothing works. There are not setting to set and no working notes. The national weather service had tornado worning, we had flash flood wornings and nothing from this app. Throughout this app and get yourself a better one.
