The C4Yourself® mobile application allows users to:- Perform basic account management functions such as create a new C4Yourself® account, login to an existing account and reset their password. - Access their CalFresh, CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) and MediCAL benefits information such as application status, program status and monthly benefit allotments.- Scan and upload documents using the phone camera to support processing of their application.- Receive notifications of upcoming appointments or missing documentation.- Read messages securely from case workers regarding their case.- Register or deregister their user account with a case.- Get contact numbers for all the C-IV counties.

Been having alot of issues sending documents to case in app. Last month office said they are not getting the documents i sent them in app. Even though on the app it says its was sent/saved and today i tried again and it keeps crashing when i take a picture. Needs a new update. Sent an email too but email not working either. This app was so convenient please fix soon.
If this app did all advertised, 5 stars. It doesn't. I rec'd a text Wed, reminding me of a phone appt. today (Fri) for a 1 hour long recertification interview. WHAT? 2 day notice. Opened this app, no notification. My Messages, nothing. Went to My Documents then My Forms, hit Submit and WOW! There's the phone appt. notification, sent two weeks ago and 5 other notifications over the last six months. I called Soc. Svcs today to get back on mailing list. Great service if it worked.
Unfortunately this app doesn't work like it says it does! I have downloaded documents that I know have downloaded & I even seen in my downloads, but whenever I try to upload those documents I can never find them to upload! SMH 😔 Unfortunately it just keeps saying it can't be found! So what good is it to have this App, if it doesn't do what it says it does!! So unfortunately I had to uninstall it!! Don't waste your time! This App doesn't work properly!!
I like being able to be connected with my benefits, case worker s, and staying up to date with all that goes on here... It was just a little difficult seeing and uploading basic documents. I think i had to take a screenshot and uploading the document as a Jpeg. ... Other than that it's fine
Only thing this is good for is viewing your balance. Doesn't allow you to send in forms/paperwork or fill out forms. Doesn't notify you of new messages or documents. Makes you go to the website for any kind of information. This app is complete trash
The app keeps telling me to update it but when i go into the app store there isn't an update available. I uninstalled and reinstalled but its still telling me to update so i cant even get to my account page. I go online to the desk top site and there isn't ab upload documents option i can find. Right now with everyone stuck in their houses abd the departments closed we need access to the app abd website to be working properly.
Broken app Giving one start when it used to be 4. Needed improvement. Now last update has it in a loop of checking for updates. I had tried all forms of trying to get the update including uninstall and reinstall. Did it twice to be sure. Wfi or cellular does not work. Last update deleted my shortcut and access to account. I can't view the messages coming in. When I click on message notification, it takes me to log in screen, and I log in, then says there is a new update, unable to proceed MotoZ⁴
Can't even set it up. Filled out up to the address line in "register with your county" but if there's more fields, I can't see them because it won't scroll (swipe scroll doesn't work, the little scrollbar that pops up in the top corner is apparently unselectable or too tiny), and "next" is greyed out and doesn't work.
This app does not Update!! Also, this app asked for permissions to your phone. My problem with that is this app doesn't need access to my SD Card, to possibly delete it, or change it in any way. My SD Card has nothing to do with this app!!!!
I love the App. I really do. I have no problems using it at all. I just wish the App got updated at the same time programs change. Like the new food stamp program for SSI people. There isnt a tab for it yet to check case information. Like when you have to recertify and stuff. Also sometimes it says my medical is discontinued when it is indeed active or visa versa.. But it beats having to go to the office or call the 1800 # all the time.
Although it provides a minute amount of information, the architecture of this app is rudimentary, and the information offered through it is minimal. More can always be accomplished by having to waste your time to pick up the phone and call your county office, hoping you can actually reach the right person who can provide the answers you need, using up their time as well. It's such a shame when a properly constructed app could save everyone's time by serving this purpose.
App was working ok before. Couldn't see any messages even though it told me I had messages. Couldn't get a hold of case worker but I guess that isn't the app fault. And now when I log onto the app it doesn't show my benefits. Its nowhere to be found. I wonder why that is.
Worthless App! If I could give it zero stars, I would. This app doesn't work. It keeps telling me that I need to link my case with it even though I keep getting emails in the app stating that my case was already linked. Customer Service / Technical Support for this app does NOT exist. If you have problems with this app, don't expect to get any help from developers of this app, you are on your own. The email address listed for the developers of this app is not working. Horrible app!!!!!!!
Constantly says "We are Experiencing Technical Difficulties, try again later" for MONTHS now whenever I try to access my NEW DOCUMENTS from the State. Online is no better either. I Login there and see a "NEW" label from November, but it doesn't have anything to click on to access the documents.
Both the website nor this app links my case with my account. It keeps denying registering with the county and not showing my active case. Already contacted my caseworker and they said since it's a third-party app that they can't do anything! No real live customer service help either..
Useless app. It DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. You create the account, you link your case, you get the confirmation your case number was "successful linked", to then, when you try to upload documents – the whole purpose of using the app – say that "there's no case linked to this account". Glitchy and technical support is inexistent.
The C4Yourself App has made it so convenient to complete paperwork online & the support to get the things we both need in order to make the whole process so much easier w/o having to make appts to see my worker & no lines to wait in. Thank You for making one more thing in my life that much easier!
7-26-20 Ok, I had to uninstall and reinstall it, but it IS working now! Working just right! Love checking my balance! Earlier today I wrote: Last update broke it! 3-22-20 I was forced to update the app today. Now it keeps telling me that I have to update! I just did! Rebooted phone doesn't help. Will uninstall! I used to like checking my balance with this app!
Doesn't work anymore. It wouldn't allow me to see my documents so I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't even let me see anything about my case. When I click register with my county is says already registered but I can't see any case info or submit any documents for my case.
A much better, faster and easier way to get your forms and other paperwork to your worker than the mail. You can also check your balances instead of calling and entering all the numbers, etc. I usually dont use apps like this, but now at least this on is great.
Does NOT Work!!! I get text messages and/or emails saying I have documents to complete but they are not there. Then I get a letter saying my recertification is due the next day. So VERY frustrating!!

Yeah, same here :" login/ username is incorrect".. - funny how it works on the direct website.. but not the app. Maybe yall shouldn't advertise this thing till login error is fixed. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO USE IT IF WE CANT GET IN? like a firestation with no firetrucks.. useless..👎👎
Every time I try to use this app something is wrong. From not recognizing my login information (works on the web) to just crashing when I try to load documents. Uninstalling
How this app provides credentials is the problem. How does the propriety apply unto the transactions and where is that information located??? Business with the State has market information which must apply and isn't provided by the app itself. What are the prerequisites for having such an app??? More information is necessary to bring this hot app to is projected usage it is made to be but because the info can be requested, and should be, it's still a bit slow to respond when data has been presen
Keep saying new update available and theres no update and keeps taking me to app store in circles. I even un-installed and same thing. Please fix this. I really depend on this app rather then go in person to turn paperwork in.
Basic information about the case. Some but not all notices are accessible here. It doesn't allow you to view any documents you have provided. Doesn't have any way to contact your case worker directly. These lacking things would be helpful to have, as well as being able to submit and manage application, changes, and request information and verification of things. Despite the flaws, still ahead of other states in having app access to account.
