CA DMV

EDIT: just realized, turning off the app will reset the test. Still needs something to reset while still in it. Test can be done once then theres no way to reset it. Checked the menus and settings and found nothing. Alternatively you can uninstall and reinstall like I did to take the test again...only to have it ask the same exact questions I had earlier. Lack of variety, not very useful.

So it won't process any renewals with Master Card I've tried two different master cards & got plenty to cover my vehicle renewal but it keeps saying declined than I reopened the App and I can't find the "Cart" to go back to try and pay again. The app has literally ZERO way to get back to the cart. This needs to be fixed it's extremely annoying.

Seems like theres a few bugs with this app. My problem, it's telling me to check my connection on everything I click on. Wifi or mobile data, doesn't matter. This app could have so much potential if any one man just put the time in.

I downloaded this to fill out the expedited check-in information sheet they give you in line and there was no place to scan the code on the paperwork. Even though it says to download the app right on the paperwork. This app is just as broken and useless as the DMV itself. Also the wait times are wrong.

Completely Useless. Have to go to a PC to be able to renew my motorcycle registration. The "app" gives a "funds not available" error message (and did with 3 different cards, all of which have more than sufficient funds). App developer should be fired.

I have been trying to access the online services for over a month to schedule my daughter's behind the wheel. I keep getting an error message that page won't load. Very frustrating. I can see a day or two of not working, but over a month! I'd give no stats if I could.

Not very useful. I would like to see a feature where they broadcast the waiting numbers so people dont have to sit and wait for 3 hours+ and can be notified when their number is close. This would reduce foot traffic and eliminate useless time wasted sitting in the waiting area

Payment screen was jacked up and took several tries to unsquish (for a lack of better words) the text and entry boxes so I could finish my transaction. Also couldn't print the receipt. Had to take a screenshot. Needs work!

This app is broken. It doesn't let me make any sort of purchases with any debit or credit card. I have been trying to renew my ID for days now and it just doesn't allow me to. Please fix or remove option of "online renewals" because it doesn't seem to work

I haven't been able to get into the site at all. I keep getting an error msg telling me to retry later, page won't load! Figures, as everything with DMV, it's a mess!

You can't input numbers into the required fields. Kind of essential when you need to input your VIN or license plate for essential information. Kind of key for this process. Just as horrible as it is to go in person. smh

Total turd, like this state has become. I open the app to try to renew my vehicle registration, but it doesn't work. Won't even load. Uninstalled and used the computer.

Makes you want to go in person. Tried to register two vehicles, both times credit cards declined. Tried to start my license renewal and it stopped. What do you expect from the California DMV.

The app didn't work Decline My payment. . .and I checked my account and info everything is correct and still declining my payment. Not good .😡😡👎👎👎 and I use the web site and same card went through with no problems.

App is deeply flawed. From credit card transactions, only one practice test chance, customer service, this app is not recommended to download. As bad as this sounds, you'll get better service going to the DMV.

Wouldn't recommend as most of the questions aren't on the test and it hasn't been updated i would recommend the other dmv app that is red. If you really want to pass the test easily.

everything on the practice test was on the real one they just reword it differently. I reccomend practicing until you get 100% consistently.

I registered, but then it will say we want you to update Google chrome... looked for update and it is already updated. Now they say use a different email address. Did that...now it says I can't because I'm using my dl# a second time. In other words you should throw the whole app in the trash. Is garbage

Message me when yall allow us to have digital copies of our IDs so I don't have to bring my wallet everywhere and not need to pay for replacements if I were to lose mine. Oh you want another idea ?? Invest in QR and allow us to use our phones as identification and allow places to scan our QR code, like bars or when you get stopped by the police.

It is missing too many of the important questions on the test. A set of 40 questions is good. There should be at least 3 or 4 sets offered to choose from. Not all questions can be found in just one test.

Completely useless. I just moved to CA and this is not a real DMV app like you get in other states. It is just a app version of the terrible website. Dont waste your time downloading this app.

Doesn't work. Just keeps telling me I need to check my internet settings. I have two cars left in California and need info on how to deal with titles, etc. I live in Cambodia and can't run down to the Long Beach DMV to chat with them. Getting the same boink on both my android devices and my PC.

I downloaded the app to pay my registration fees and it immediately crashed the app three times. Uninstalled and went to the California DMV website instead. The website worked flawlessly.

Can't make payments on app. They keep coming back "declined" but then you do then on the actual DMV website and payment clears no problem. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Wow! Loving all the government websites lately. I know it's good when all I wanna do is cruise deeper into the great deal of information that is accessible to us.

Like everyone is saying the app is broken and so is the website. I can't make an appointment for a new registration and no one is answering the phone. I can't afford to spend the whole day in line waiting. Fix this app!

Junk. Appears on the screen the same as if you use ANY mobile browser. Only difference is, your card will be declined no matter what id you use the app. UNINSTALLING

I liked the app. It really helped me when I went to do the test to renew my license, I recommend it to anybody that has to take the test, it has alot of adds but it does help
