Cache Defrag (Boost speed)

Every time I use it it asks me to rate it even though I check the box that says "never show me this again" so here I am rating this app just like it wanted. Annoying P.O.S. I hope it will stop asking me to rate it now, or I will have to uninstall it. I don't know why you would want to annoy the people rating your app. Oh well ,your bad. ffs.

All this app does is clear the device's cache. That explains why some users report a (short) performance gain, but no defragmentation is performed at all (and not even desired, as apart of not being needed it reduces the life span of flash memory chips used in phones and tablets). To do simple cache clearing one can get smaller, lighter and honest apps, just searching here by "cache cleaner".

Like one of the other users who tried this app, it's crap! You really don't have an idea if it is really doing anything & there is no way, at a user level to tell. As a retired government programmer, I've made many simulated programs to prove a concept but, a mere simulation. That might be the same here. The continued ad pop-up are very intrusive. So, you might not want to waste your time.

Notifications that keep telling me this app crashed, and... gotta face never ending ads (panel ads and full screen ads) and rating reminder is like no way we can stop it even if you've already rated and you've clicked stop showing...! Please kindly let us know if there is a paid version without all these nonsense...

Everytime I run the app it comes up asking me to rate. So I said sure why not let me do it to get rid of that annoying message that keeps coming up. I rate it but now it still comes up each time. I clicked on the option to never show this again but it keeps coming up... What is this? Please don't waste my time when I'm simply trying to defrag

It does not work and in logic it should not because a mobile phone never uses a hard disk. Defrag only works for hard disk not even ssd. Phone uses flash storage.

After a while of constant running, installing/uninstalling I run this and the Storage Cleaner Plus and phone performance goes right back to where it was when it was new.

I don't know if it even does anything or not but the pop up and it telling me to rate it gets old so I'm rating it ugg.

Too many ads disguised as apps. You have to be very careful about clicking on the X buttons. It led me to download areas instead of closing ads. Cheats

Never had problems till i used this.. Now I have to defrag every 3 hrs.. Selling the sickness and remedy is not good business..

Cash defrag. Wonderful app. 5 stars if they would also do sd chips and give more detailed info about apps defrag amount of defragmentation per app space utilized well verse poorly and which apps best suited for compresion and give ability to create a special additional auxillary drive on the sd chip and internal memory

I'm not sure that this does anything speed-wise. It might work for you if your bottleneck is in disk access which is usually not the case with Solid State Drives. My "app not responding" issues at startup did not go away, so it is not a magic bullet. It did some kind of sorting with red, blue, yellow and green bars and random strings. "Succes"(SIC) on completion and "You are all good :D" on rerunning afterwards does not instill confidence. The sort persisted after clearing the app's data so there is that. I recommend installing, running once, saying no to the social media spam, and uninstalling once a year.

Since you don't have a feedback function integrated I could locate... Works great and restores space and makes files faster to load. The one point that bothers me is that success has been misspelled upon defragmentation completion for over 2 years as "succes." Do you even realize how hard that was to type here with auto-correct?!? :)

Yes you do need to clean out caches and empty unneeded downloads but you also need to defrag sometimes. My Samsung s3 was having random crashes and this appears to have fixed it Run it a few times per week!

I gave it four stars because of the progress bar blocks the grid and they can put it into the white space below the grid. Once they integrate the progress bar into the bottom, then it would get five stars.

The app does what it says, but the popup ad is annoying. A banner would be better.

Only thing I wish it had was a scheduled scan so I would not have to manually scan. Otherwise it works well.

Was skeptical at first about downloading this app. My phone didn't red flag it as a possible harmful. It did its job. My phone is crazy faster now. A MUST download.

I never thought of a Defrag app for my cache but, it really helps. Your phone will run smoother and you won't have to stop to clear your cache nearly as many times. I thought I knew all the types of apps out there but this one snuck up one me and I'm glad it did.

Took a look at the code with "Show Java", and there is nothing close to cache defragmentation. Just ads and layout with fancy bar

It will be very perfect if can use on EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, too

I'm a tekkie who programs cell phones for other people. I've personally tried out about 100 free Android apps just for cleaning, speed and other efficiency functions. Sadly, almost all turn out to be worthless and lame. But THIS app? It's easy to use and provides rarely-found efficiency enhancers. I tell you it's "absolute must have app" for your cell, and I have started installing it on all of my clients' phones!

I finally decided to comment here used this app before when there was a pro version with no adds then it was removed with an auto update and now only free version with adds . There is no difference is versions. How but a refund ! Other than that the app is very nice and does a great job without all the fancy useless feature one would expect to see in the optimization apps for Android. It is however add heavy and now no pro. So one star less

Love this app-really does just what it says-not confusing,doesnt try to get you to download something else+does improve phone speed+frees up memory. Great job+its free,what more can you ask for
