Taking a picture of the front of the check, on average, 20 to 30 attempts. FOLDED CORNERS!!!!! I've never had multiple attempts for the back of the check. I always have to do something crazy to get the front photo to be accepted! Today, I had to flip the check upside down!

Great app.. Big down side... Can't pay car payment through it. Many other banks have this feature and it's very convenient. I highly suggest you add that feature it would help out allot of customers. Pay car note with a bank card 🤔

Splendid with one exception: the pop-up asking for a review of the app before I could tell my transaction successfully done, then took me out of the app entirely. When I went immediately back to the CAFCU screen, I had to log back in. RE-TIME THE REQUEST FOR A REVIEW TO FOLLOW THE UTTER COMPLETION OF IN-APP TRANSACTIONS, PLEASE! This would have been a brief 5-star review without that user experience fail. Happy now?

Works well. My only complaint is even with fingerprint login, I still need to get a verification text every time I log in. Every once in a while would be ok, but not every time.

this app used to be great, simple, functional, reliable... Edit: With recent updates, the app has become much more stable. No more issues logging on. However, now every time I make a transfer, it asks me to rate the app. As you can see, I've already done that... Doesn't matter, still asks. I do like the fact that they added biometric login. That's handy.

Not happy with mobile deposit since an upgragde has been done to "improve" it. Having more trouble now then ever before. When capturing the photo of the check I get multiple, multiple errors and nothing is ever wrong with the picture yet it keeps saying error and the system had been down for over two weeks. It was fine before the improvement..I loved it then.

It took six tries to get a perfectly flat check to be accepted. On the first five it said there was a folded corner. I finally figured out I had to get closer and completely fill the capture area with the check image. "Get closer" would have been much more helpful feedback! Most recently, a mobile deposit was declined because it exceeded the limit, but no mention of what the limit was. When something doesn't work, we need to know why!

It's ok. I have a car loan thru CAFCU and I don't like that you can only pay from one account (you have to submit a form to change your payment account and sometimes I want to pay it with a different account). Then, the payment is not immediate like most bill pay methods. They only accept it days later. It's very old school how they do things.

UPDATE: They have fixed the problem, and now the mobile deposit function seems to be working quite well. Thanks for the fix, but next time do more testing before releasing a MAJOR bug like the one I and many others experienced. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW The app used to be great for mobile deposit, but the app has apparently been updated because it looks very different. Now the mobile deposit will NOT work because it keeps saying the check photo is "ERROR: Folded corners, image too dark". WHAT??? The check is in perfect condition; NO folded corners. I am using plenty of light. I am taking the photos in the exact location on my desk using the exact same lighting as I always have. 15 tries WITHOUT successful deposit!!!

The upgrades are cosmetic, as the functionality of the app hasn't changed. It's still easy to navigate, so that's a plus. Since the upgrade, I'm unable to use my fingerprint to open the app and have to manually input the info - certainly not the end of the world, but it was far more convenient to just use my fingerprint.

This app used to be very convenient but will not work on my cell anymore. Keeps saying an error has occurred, even after contacting CAFCU directly & reinstalling. So, now I have to drive to the one branch in my state just to deposit a check!!! This stinks!!!

8/3/20 Update: Approaching 2 months since the June 13th update and the mobile check deposit feature is still not working. Still getting image too dark, corners folded error messages despite a pristine check image. Unbelievable! Horrible...every update brings on a new set of problems. Mobile Deposit feature not working and text message log in authentication code arrives 15 mins after it has been requested. Time to find a new developer and do a better job testing before releasing.

Unnecessarily confusing, too many transfers. Just let me make a payment, with my card, without jumping through hoops and getting locked out every time i use this god awful app. I know you made it impossible to do easily so you could get that $10 "convenience fee." No calls made to me. Stop giving generic responses it has Not been resolved!!! 8-18-19 STILL HAS ISSUES. ABOUT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT WITH YOU ALL. WEBSITE AND APP ISNT WORKING AND FREEZES. it's not working. tried logging into the droid app and I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still not letting me into my account on the mobile app. I've had to login through my phones internet instead or a pc but seriously, it shouldn't be happening when it was fine months ago and now this month it's not.

The worst banking app ever when trying to deposit checks. Unable to enter decimal points. App doesn't default them either. Received so many different errors trying to capture check image....finally need to mail checks to deposit. After 30 years...time to change banks

Lately this NEVER allows me to deposit a check, even when I follow the guidelines. I have been depositing checks via mobile for the past 2.5 years and now it refuses them. [That is when I am lucky enough to be able to log in, because it keeps saying my info is incorrect and locking me out, but online access is fine] -_- Disappointing.

05/21: Love nearly everything now! 5-Stars! 09/20: LOVE Zelle instead of PopMoney! 06/20: A significant update to this app has fixed many issues I had reported. I am upgrading it from 3 stars to 4 stars because I am impressed with the changes, but there is still some bugs and misalignments in interfaces. Great job to the tech team on this! I love that I can look up my answers in the "Ask us" section properly and that I don't have to push extra buttons now to log in with fingerprint.

I waited for almost a week for customer service to get back with me as to why I can no longer use the mobile app. It never happened. When I called back we went through the entire process again. Finally the customer service rep said there was a known issue with some versions of Android with the app after an update.

The mobile deposit portion absolutely sucks. It won't accept clear pictures if the checks caliber it."folded corners"on the check. They are not folded. But when you have out of focus pictures it accepts it. Makes no sense to me.

App doesn't even open. Page untrusted that's msg comes when i try to open. Previous version i can at least able to check balance and see transactions. Hopefully they improve this app. This is extremely frustrating.

Mobile deposit is way too picky. Took 5 or 6 tries to get check accepted. Said folded corner but there was not. Said amount did not match but it did. Very frustrating for something that is supposed to be a convenience to both of us.

I my opinion, there are both pros and cons regarding the current updated version of this app. However, I want to mention a couple of things I do like. First, I like that I don't have to log in every time I want to check the balances of my accounts! Secondly, I also like the choice of making my password visible when logging in, if I so choose!

Not a very helpful credit union..declines for everything..whats the point of having a credit union they are supposed to be better than banks 😒 ..afraid of thinking ill be able to get help..they claim to have the resources to help you but not seeming to be the case. I applied for a small loan of 1000.00 they declined it but gave me a 500.00 line of credit. They deduct the payments biweekly so you couldn't do the same thing for the loan. Absurd!

This app is constantly losing my login info and then after 1 try if using the correct member number and password I get locked out .
