CalcNote - Notepad Calculator
[How to use]
- Result will be shown realtime to right pane when you enter the expression to left pane.
- Tap the result to show the result as hex, binary, tax included and tax excluded. Then you can copy the result to tap it.
- Tap the line number to refer to the previous answer.
- If expression has syntax error, the result won't shown.
- You can edit your expression like in a text editor. Also you can copy and paste the expression.
- Your expression and result will be saved automatically.
- Result will be exponential notation if result is over 10^9.
- The button can have sub buttons. You can perform the assigned operation to sub buttons by swipe to the up or down.
- Swipe right on the display to show the side menu.
- Swipe left or right on the numeric keypad to reveal mathematical keypad.
- You can customize the appearance of editor. (Background color, Text color, Show line number)
- You can refer to the previous answer by specifying the line number with '$'.Ex) When you want to calculate the consumption tax.2000

This is one of a kind application that does calculations in realtime like addition subtraction multiplication and division while writing notes ie it does budgeting if you know how to use the expressions and formulas it makes life easier ,highly recommend this app thanks to the developer really great work
Finally! I needed a programmers calculator that could do Modulo, but every one I tried sacrificed other sane functions, like lacking negative numbers (really, you had to do 0- first) or requiring referencing line number variables manually to add up multiple expressions / lines, something that would make quick shopping much more faffy, whereas this has a dedicated "total" area so you can just put each item's price on a new line. This app works and it's fluid enough to use
When I attempt to do a calculation on my Samsung Galaxy a20 phone with this app, I can barely see an equal sign but if I slide my finger on it it turns to blue and equal sign appears but when I let go of the screen the equal sign disappears and I'm unable to finish my calculation, uninstalling.
Being able to annotate calculations is extremely useful, I can even do a quick invoice on it ! It would be great if it were available on linux, windows etc. Thank you for great software.

Just what I wanted and even more! It has basic spreadsheet functions, but also large calculator-like keys, best of both worlds. I can just press it and do what I need. There are a billion customization options which aren't really needed, but I still spent hours painting it and making a keyboard perfect for me because that turned out to be more fun than most mobile video games. Ads aren't intrusive but I'm still planning to buy pro to support this marvelous project.
A brilliant little app, which I've just used to successfully manage my home finances. The only reason I've withheld a star is to hopefully encourage the developer to include the option to add 'if' statements (as the rate of some taxes, for example, varies according to gross income, so it'd be ideal if this could be automated within 'CalcNote'). Big thank you to the developer for a very useful app!
Why suddenly all my save calcunote has been removed or cannot find anymore. So sad, I cant review all my calculation. Please send me note regarding how to retrieve my notes. Please. Ok, I already saw the flies. It just the button is not display on the selection. It needed to tick the box to show all (like find files) on the settings, UI, then customize side menu). Maybe the update was resume the settings and need to toggle it back all the selection side menu. thanks
It has a lot of features, the ability to backup files, and an almost needless ability to personalize thematically. The ads are a little bit of an eye sore, but i haven't found them intrusive, and the app is free for a good quality. So no real complaint. The only thing I might like is a tutorial? But maybe there is one already.
I love CalcNote. I like being able to use the alphabet & numbers, for taking notes on each mathematic step. I'm thankful for it very much. It's simplicity is my favorite part. I also like how you can save it in separate files. Thank you for making such an app! The only thing I'd change is, if possible, making it so it can automatically save in Google drive, rather than the device.
Was looking for Opal Calc (a windows app) on android and found this one ... perfect and quite flexible for my needs. What a convenient and efficient way to implement a calculator !! Hats off to the developer. Immediately went ahead with the upgradation to pro, however due to issues on google side, payment went through but it didn't register on their servers. Still waiting for the refund before I go ahead with the purchase again ... the developer was quite responsive on addressing my queries ..
The calculator app which I had used for several years now no longer allows deletion of 'saved history' after its latest update. I found this 'CalcNote' and it stands out among so many others and am extremely impressed by the 'richness' of this app! It is a combination of a calculator and spreadsheet! There are so many functions and customisation options this app has packed into - notes for individual lines of calculation, histories of individual saved files (each file can be deleted separately rather than 'clear history'), scientific calculator, currency converter, simply go to the typo-error to make correction directly and everything re-calculates accordingly (no need to restart the whole calculations), fonts, colours, just to name only a few. There is a lot more useful functions than I have mentioned here! It is a pity five stars is the maximum for I would gladly give more stars than just five if I could as it is such a remarkable and incredibly useful app! Try it for youself (you have nothing to lose)!

CalcNote is a well thought out smart value added calculator app. It is quite feature rich and powerful. With CalcNote, you can get a lot of your work done you would otherwise need to use MSExcel. Besides, it is lean, quick and intuitive. And the app is conveniently ready to use for you right there on your phone. I am a regular user of CalcNote. I am hooked by the power and convenience of CalcNote. And am constantly on the look out for new features to be released by CalcNote. Keep it up, Gang!
Wow never thought a calculator could be this awesome. Its the best I ever seen no sarcasm for real.
This is a great calculator if you understand the idea of automatic calculation like you getting a spreadsheet, but without the knowledge required. It's also useful in that you can save files and refer to them later. All in all and unusual and very useful tool for someone who likes to do interesting calculations.
I normally never review anything but... This is probably my favorite app now. Absolutely amazing for day to day math problems and reminders to help make informed decisions. If I would add anything, maybe a way to save files as plain text files (not json) on your phone so I can save them in Dropbox or similar apps and review them elsewhere outside the app (could also import this way).
I would have given this app 5 star but there are things that could be added an improved. it is one of the best apps I have ever used but to create a sheet is not always that easy as it looks to be. if they could just manager separate column for objects and a column for prices like a tab sheet it would have been an excellent thing to do with. a commercial was person giving a full receipt kind of appearance could have helped many small status to send a bill electronically.
When I think of a feature it's already there. I don't mind the ads. It's clean and neat. Good work 👍 . Gets stuff done.
I love this multi line calculator! I can reference other lines as variables! I can create my own variables and functions! I can customize my own keypads! And it calculates on the fly! This is the perfect calculator for me. I was using spreadsheets for my multi-function/multi-variable calculation before, but this is so much faster and easier to use on my phone (which is far from new). And the app is far lighter a program than the spreadsheets I was trying to use. Customizable/adaptable/awesome
Pretty good. I have given it a 5* rating, but the pop-up that comes up when I want to refer to a certain result or when I want to enter a function key is super annoying. Remove the pop-up guys! (Or give us an option to turn it off) Edit: There was an option for turning off the pop-up keypad! You guys are awesome, and this is the best calculator ever! Thanks for the good app, and thanks for the reply on my first comment. I bought the pro version to show my gratitude. This app is worthy of every last cent!
Great app for annotating the calculations. The developer clearly works hard to make it user friendly and keeps updating it with new features. Wish it wouldn't display positive numbers in brackets, though, which is confusing (brackets imply a negative number in accounting parlance). Edit: Developer fixed it! Thank you!!

Excellent calculator. Ability to use previous calculations, define constants (e.g 'kg' set to 1000 to be able to write 2kg which is interpreted as 2000) and i love the fact that buttons can have 2 sub commands which are invoked with a swipe. Only bad thing is the characters on the buttons are small, making it hard for me to see without reading glasses.
Need a simple app where I can write a list of dates, places walked, and miles walked, then take a weekly total. In my first moments of trying to use this app, a bright red ad started flashing. Very distracting, gave me a headache. Not ready to commit to a $5.98 purchase. Will uninstall and go back to pencil and paper. I wish the developer would have given me at least 2 minutes before beating me over the head with an ad.
I use this app to keep a record of the weight of my caravan & it's contents. Add the amount in kilo's with decimal points or put a minus sign for weight taken out. You can put a description of the item you have weighed next to the weight. Do not use numbers or full stops in the description of the item, it can alter the weight added or subtracted. Press the save symbol. Is it possible to add check boxes, so that I can have a pre-set list with values and then tick them to add to the total? Thanks.
