Calculator Plus Free

Excellent. It looks like a real calculator and performed like a simple, straightforward one. No frills attached!!! After months of enjoyable use, I now find that some ads infestation is proving rather tiresome and for me has ruined the quality of the app. Shame. Two stars off. Your customary response does not cut any ice. There is no option in settings to do anything about ads. Above the app, ads are OK. While using the app and some pop up ad cuts through my usage, it is a mere nuisance.

This used to be my go to calculator. However, now they're running adds that hijacks your phone with a "full page" animated add that you can't get out of until the animated video is done, then goes to the Google Play store where then you can get back to your calculations which after the distraction you probably have to go back and get again! UPDATE: Waiting for the update. I don't want to loose this app but the hijacking add cost me a big headache the other day! we'll see what happens.

I've already paid for this App once, despite the fact that I'm on a different device or devices, I feel I shouldn't have to pay everytime to use it. If I or any person has to do that. Then FREE with adds will always be better than paying for a App that I could just go into a store and buy a physical device that does the exact same thing.

This use to be a great app. Now on my phone I get SUPER LOUD ads for tiktok that come out of nowhere even when not using the app. There no way to stop this for at least 15 seconds while it blasts you and everyone around you. I have uninstalled and won't reinstall. Such a shame that you have to endure such BS. No more Calculator plus for me.

It was ok, very bare minimum but it does it's job, really expected more though. Good for 1st to 3rd grade. Not above really tough when you need a scientific calculator or more availability options. When you get to high-school I recommend Desmos Graphing Calculator.

It's literally a calculator. There should be no ads. Figuring out where the exit button is (and it's in a different place every time) consumes brain power. By the time I'm back to the calculator I've forgotten what I was about to do. I can be in a perfect flow state, going through equations, but these new ads mess it all up. They throw something into the spokes of my bicycle. It's evil. Find another way to make money, your product is unusable in it's current state.

It was a good basic calculator for years but it was wrecked by way to many adds that are now way to long making it hard to remember what it was you were trying to figure out like how much did my stock drop, where you need to remember two long numbers long enough to enter them but a long advertisement plays and you can not do anything for 10 to 30 seconds. just a waste of what was a good basic add paid app. too bad. recently it has been too hard to use as a result of way too many very long adds.

A nice basic calculator with memory function. No excessive bells and whistles. Good size keypad. Unobtrusive ads. What's not to like.

Overbearing ads. This app used to have ads that you could click out of, now you're forced to watch them all the way through. Not cool. UNINSTALLING!

Just deleted my previous very positive review. Also deleted this now useless app. Specifically due to the horrendous advertising that hijacks your screen. Which moron that works there thought it was a good idea to ruin a good app with intrusive ads that take over your entire screen and at maximum volume?!

One of the better calculator apps available here in the store. Gives authentic calculator feeling. Vibration feels amazing and gives haptic feedback which is awesome. Minimal adds and non intrusive which I love. Memory add, subtract and recall is the essential which is available here. I would pay to remove ads but it's too pricey and costs more than a physical calculator. Will pay if the price is significantly lower. ***** stars

It's ok. Reason why I uninstalled is because it takes up way too much space. I just need a simple calculator on my phone, instead there must be a million features that I'd never use that take up way too much space: it had 258MB on my phone when I decided to uninstall. Crazy! Edit for response: I know I could delete data and clear cache, but that's a temporary solution. If the memory was used up at one time, it will get used up again sometime later - the maintenance is more than I bargained for.

I appreciate the developer's efforts. I used this app for awhile, but the ads are aggressive, intrusive, loud and lengthy. I think they are designed to cause users to inadvertently touch their screens in ways that get them more deeply into the ads rather than close them. I'm uninstalling.

Having a full screen, 'loud' audio ad popup then being forced to the download site for the advertised app is NOT a desirable experience. Otherwise, it is one of the better calc apps! Comment about Devs Reply: Totally acceptable for ads in free apps to generate revenue but NOT full screen, very load audio! These ads seemingly disable the Back Button so no way to stop them once they startup. Will look for alternatives and say GOODBYE to CalcPlus after having used for many years!

This is a basic calculator and does not offer scientific functions. Although surprising, it is fair enough, I suppose. However, even the basic calculator does not have parentheses. I expect parentheses on a basic calculator.

Ads are extremely intrusive and challenging to close out when they randomly appear. The App has become too problematic as a result.

This is an awesome calculator and very aesthetically pleasing. It offers different themes and an option to buy out of adds at a very reasonable price. Only wish it had a widget. 🧡

I used this app for several years and I was totally happy with it. Now with these annoying ads I will deinstall it and give the Samsung calculator a chance.

This has got to be the only calculator I've ever used that scares the living hell out of you when you're trying to make a calculation only to have an ad thrown in your face at max volume. So many other better calculators up there... Including scratch paper. Don't waste your time.

Excellent and easy to use Edit: I changed phones and this app wouldn't re-install the paid version. I contacted the authors who didn't bother to reply. To add insult to injury the ads in the free version are in-your-face intrusive, so yeah, you can * off. There are other calculator apps out there that work equally well.

I downloaded this as it had 50m+ and a high rating. Used it for 10 seconds and hit by adds in a middle of calculations.

What happened? This was a convenient calculator...but now the amount of ads are insane! Whenever you use the history feature the majority of the time you are hit with a long ad when returning to the calculation screen. This slows the process and makes this app very user unfriendly. I have since uninstalled this app. I got tired of reading the same response to your 1 reviews. I loaded the Samsung Calculator...it's excellent, has the same functionality but a lot cleaner and ABSOLUTELY NO ADS!

I bought this app simply for the aesthetics. A calculator is a calculator. They all work pretty much the same and this is no exception. I just like the way it looks.

This used to be a great app and I used it nearly daily for years. However in the last several months things have changed. When on the phone with clients or attending meetings and an intrusively, loud obnoxious audio ad pops up its beyond what I want to tolerate. I am fully aware of the need for ads on the free version. You had a really good thing going but you ruined this app. It's time to move on and remove the app. It's loud audio ads. I know you need ads but not loud and obnoxious ones

So far so good. Nice looking and easy to use. I only need a basic calculator. I was hoping that it would have a decent widget so the calculator could take permanent residence on one of my screens but I've had to settle for a shortcut button instead. Would be great if this could be rectified. My previous calculator was dumped when it stopped working and was riddled with ads.

I love this app. !!! It keeps things simple, which makes it super easy to use for most daily calculations. I especially love how, with one touch, you can view your complete history and with another touch, you can completely clear all of your history. However, I also love the large number pads and the large, easy to read, display. It is the perfect app for my needs!!!

I downloaded the free version. GREAT looking calculator - just like the handheld device I used to use - very simple. But then I saw the adverts - and decided that £1.59 to upgrade was clearly worth paying. So I clicked the upgrade to 'ad-free' version in-app and paid for it. HOWEVER the adverts were still there! So either the upgrade isn't actually ad-free - or it didn't actually upgrade. So I contacted the Play Store - and they arranged a refund and I will uninstall the app. BUT I will have to repurchase the app as the full version directly from the Play Store and see whether that gives me the ad-free functionality that I'm looking for. So, Developers: please can you investigate why the in-app upgrade doesn't work? I am extremely disappointed that I have to go through so much messing around to get this app to work. I will review the full-fat version once I have it up and running.

This is just the calculator I was looking for. It has all the basic functions most people need without loading it down with capabilities that never get used. It has a nice look to it and the keys are just the right size. Just a very nice calculator. And by the way, it does have ads but implemented in the best way; a very small ad across the top of the screen and a single full screen ad occasionally displayed as you exit the app. Hit the x in the corner, ad is gone and app is closed. Very nice.
