DetailsIVs (individual values) are hidden values which determine how strong a monster can be. This means that two monsters of the same species can have up to 20% different maximal CP. Calcy IV helps you to decide in under a second whether a monster is worth leveling up or can be transferred immediately.
On startup, Calcy displays an unobtrusive and movable overlay button. By tapping this button once while in a monster screen, the app automatically calculates this monsters IVs. For fully evolved monsters, Calcy also calculates the DPS and the performance of your attackmoves when used either as an attacker or a defender.
By tapping the overlay button a longer time, you can see all valid combination and filter them with the appraisal system. Calcy shows you how much it would cost to level up the monster to a selectable level and it stats at this level. You can analyze the scanned attackmoves, their performance, their type effectiveness, and compare them to other moves.
By tapping the button in a gym screen, Calcy shows you the defenders weaknesses and possible moves and tells you how to counter it with the best of your monsters either by pure damage or by damage together with durability.
If you wish, Calcy generates a nickname (based out of adjustable blocks containing e.g. IV-Performances or combinations, move types, DPS and whether the monster is an attacker or defender.) and copies it to the clipboard from where you can insert it easily in the game.
There is no need to insert the monster values manually. The app uses a screenshot and optimized text-recognition to read the needed values. Both the scan and the output of Calcy doesn't interfere with the game. Calcy uses the arc above the monster to get the exact monster level. This means you get the most precise IVs possible
- and not just an average.

It does exactly what it says and more. No account either which is what I was looking for. Everything can be customized. Does it have a few issues? Yes, but it's a complicated piece of software doing complicated things that change frequently and without documentation. It's to be expected. So if you're looking for perfect, flawless software this isn't it, if it even exists. But if you want something that does what CalcyIV says it does then download it.
Amazing app. Using it for years, and finally got the premium (as the ads got a bit annoying), should have done it way sooner. One little suggestion is to give the option to have more than one PvP max level alternative. For example, PvP max level: 40, alternative level: 41, 50, 51. Sometimes pokemon have wildly different IVs even at a single level difference so that option would be very useful.
Had given 4 stars but reducing it to 2. The ads are wayyyy too much, go on forever every time you start the app and honestly are so annoying I don't bother using the app as often. Really hoping they get rid of these, especially as they autoplay with sound at the start and are unexitable and send you straight to the app
I've been using this app for years. Recently the new ads implemented are becoming so annoying I don't want to use it anymore. I'm having to wait and click through multiple ads, that are not skiable. When the skip button eventually appears, I try to click and it just takes me to a download page. Over and over, won't let me use calcy IV, but forcing me onto other pages I don't want. I'm done spending a minute fighting ads every time I want to play Pokémon. Time to try other scanning options.
Awesome application, pure time/lifesaver, thank you! Will purchase a paid version :) Please allow to reorder boxes in lists. Also it can improve significantly if box with best result (e.g. best league rank) has priority instead of just order of boxes, for cases when few boxes match simultaneously.
Used to be 5 stars but omg the ads!! So many every time so many pages to x out of. Half the time i get so annoyed i just turn it off and use the one in game Edit still doing it and now with music def searching for new one
Great pgo calculator, recommended to all my other friends but now it doesn't work for me. I've recalibrated multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled and every time it can't scan a "monster". How do I overcome this as this is a great app I'd love to keep using!
This past few weeks I've noticed consistently wrong cp readings for my pokemon. Not like the cp was blocked on screen or hard to read situations. Pretty much every pokemon reads practically double the cp. The rest of stats and moves read fine, also catching pokemon still reads. My main annoyance is I can't even figure out how to manually correct the CP. I do really l like this app and before this issue it was perfect for my needs and if this issue is fixed I'd definitely put it at 5☆
Im not against ads, but come on. You keep boiling the frog, making them worse and worse. The way the ads FORCES you to interact with them THREE TIMES each, with a few seconds between, is getting close to what I would expect in some Black mirror universe.
This app is a fantastic companion for Pokemon GO. I think it needs some tutorials, though, and those should be pushed forwards. For instance it took 7 months of daily use to find out Calcy has a "simulate powerup" functionality. Also, settings presets should be a thing because calcy can be configured to an amazing extent. Last, it's always not clear when updates are coming -- for instance Tapu Koko and its ilk are not yet in. A "what's going on with the devs" info would be nice.
A really great app, but the new ads are bs. They're full screen, start with sound, and are impossible to exit out of unless you go to their store page.
I am updating my review because they fixed my problem in about a week. Thank you! It is a great tool, every once in a while it will detect the wrong info, but it is usually right. Would love to see a batch import option because I just had a bunch of pokemon in the database that I already had deleted and had to just delete them all and start over. Updating to 4 stars because of bugs in the past.
Really depend on this thing to keep my critters organized. Only problem is getting the button to show on the pokemon screen since the last upgrade. It displays everywhere else

Stopped working. Tried rebooting my phone. Uninstalled then re-installed the app. Checked settings. Cleared cache. It just keeps saying something about a gym badge error or can't find a Pokémon.
This had been a fabulous tool until recently when it quit working altogether for me. It continually says it can't read the candy, its not on a monster screen, or just sits and does nothing at all. I am very unhappy. I have a bronze level account.
Program completley unusable. Reinstalled to see if it fixed lock up issueon start up. Now it when add starts lock up program and can not get to run at all now. Would not recommend any more. Too many other programs out there that does the same thing and actually works with out fighting to try to get it to load
100% fantastic app, I use it every time I play. Really helpful to quickly decide if you wanna catch something, or if you're like me and bad at telling what the exact values in the appraisal screen are. Also good way to easily see if you have a chance in a raid and what team is optimal.
Love the app, but is there a setting to prevent it from copying the pokemon info to the clipboard? Couldn't find it anywhere, and the "Copied to clipboard" toast is blocking the hp iv, making the app read any hp iv above 10, e.g. 14 as 10. This makes autoscan nearly unusable, as it misreads info, obviously giving wrong pvp rankings etc in the process.
Is autoscan broken for anyone else? Suddenly won't appear unless I do an appraisal? Was working just fine earlier today, checked it was on but just won't come up?
Phone did an update and now the entire app doesn't work. Says it can't read the monster to calculate or anything. Reinstalled app and still the same problem. Please help
This is a good app! However, the free version has really long ads that are difficult to exit from.
i used this app for years but suddenly it stopped in scanning automatically to a mon..i tried to uninstall and reinstall it but still the same problem..its been so useful for my 2 account but i think ill find another app..thank you
Does not seem to work on Sony Xperia Z with Android 7 version. Draw overlay permission was granted without problem, but the screen capture permission had more trouble but is set to "granted" now. When Pokenmon GO starts (the game itself) the overlay button vanishes during the "Niantic" splash screen. I looked through all the settings of the app and android.... I cannot find the reason.
