My laundry room switched to using this app and no longer accepting quarters. There was no warning or announcement, they just did it without consulting any of the residents. I hate it; quarters were so much easier. I need to log in each time (it doesn't keep me logged in...why? now I have one more password to remember), turn on bluetooth and location (I keep them off by default because of security) and then connect to the machine, then remember to turn off bluetooth and location. When it works, it's not too bad, but I find that it sometimes glitches and I have to try 2 or 3 times. Sometimes I've had to turn off wireless, I think it often glitches because my phone will be kind of on the margin of a wireless network that I can use, but it's unreliable. I'd say on a good day, it has taken me about 1 minute to do the payment thing, but on a bad day it's taken 3 minutes. And then there was the time spent installing the app, putting my credit card on it. It's a waste of my time. I also just hate having to use a phone for payment, this means that if my phone is dead, I have to wait to do laundry. It's inconvenient. I don't like being overly reliant on technology and I think that the move to this app is a step in the wrong direction. I also don't know how much I can trust this company with security. It requires you to enter a credit card. I've had my credit card info stolen three times, including from large retailers like Home Depot. I don't like installing apps from companies I don't know and trust. I didn't choose to enter into a business relationship with this company, they were just contracted with my apartment complex and I had no choice in the matter. One person in this complex has been forced to borrow someone's phone to use this app too, because her phone is too old. Oh, and one more problem: you have to put money on in units of $10, which means if and when you move out, there is a high probability of having some money left on the account, and just losing it. I don't know if there's any way to get it refunded or not, but...if there isn't, I don't like that. Again, it makes me do extra work to plan like using it for a friend or something, again, putting more burden on my time. So yeah, I see a lot of problems with this app. If they were offering it as an option and still accepting coins, then that would be great. They could even maybe just keep 2 machines that still accepted coins, but no...totally discontinuing coins and demanding a smartphone app for payment REALLY rubs me the wrong way. It's frustrating, because besides this Caleco has been an ideal laundry company: the new machines work great, payment aside, and the company has been very responsive of past maintenance issues.

I've used this app for about 6 months now. Easy to set up payment. Menus seem over complicated. The app has stopped showing my cycle status and no longer reliably sends updates to my smartwatch (Garmin 235) when cycles finish. (And it does not reliably send notifications to my smartphone either. ) Both were favorable because then I could do other things without tracking the time myself.

Never have problems with the app but sometimes have issues with the machines. I have never seen an ad in this app and that is so refreshing. Topping up my account is very easy to do. I LOVE the app! The technicians are top of the line! If you ever have a problem they are happy to correct it for you!

The app is easy to use and I haven't had any issues. Only thing I don't like is the additional time option after starting the dryer. I'm always pressing it by mistake because it's in the same sequence of hitting okay for the washer/dryer start option.

I hadn't used this yet, but installed it on my phone & wanted to set up payment before going to the laundry room in case I don't have a cell signal...it's happened in several campgrounds. I am very disappointed that the app won't let me do anything until it scans for, & finds, machines. Once I use it, maybe my rating will change.

App refuses to start without access to location (absolutely no reason I should be forced to give a laundry app access to my location). Then, only gives me an option to "detect my laundry room" -- which promptly fails with the inscrutable "SRC related error". There are no options in the app and no way to remove the error.

App cant keep track of cycle status, even when right on top of machine. Room Status never works due to low strength wifi connection. QR code scan takes way to long. Not really much in the way of custom options for wash and dry cycles.

Washer Cycle timing is off which doesn't make sense because the machine is bluetoothed. Use my phone timer. I accidentally bought more time for the dryer cycle, it's a bit confusing when it pops up, another word would be clunky. No presoak cycle. I just had to change washers because one is not working. And, too expensive.

I usually have no problems using the app, except when I can't find my phone to put it in! It is pretty convenient, it works 100% of the time. Whereas putting the quarters in the slot does not work 100% of the time, and when called the company about it doesn't do anything about it

I like how big the washers and dryers are. You use an app on your phone to operate them, so no pockets full of quarters to acquire and carry. Although, if you can't get a good signal on your phone in the wash room, it can be challenging. I had an issue once where the machine took money but didn't start so I put in a refund request. The next day they refunded my account. Not bad considering the quarter machines we had failed to ever refund me. Overall I'm satisfied.

Consistently faulty. Requires wifi connection to connect to server - so if your machine is in the basement of your complex, you're out of luck. "Machine not found" is a common error message. I'm going back to feeding quarters.

At first the app was fine, it had its flaws though. Like not being able to select a shorter dry time and only being able to load money by 10s. Lately, I have been noticing money on my app disappearing. Today for example, I had 10.50 when I started, I started one wash. When I went to switch the laundry I had 6.50 on my account.. What the hell it that BS! One day I signed in and I have a negative balance! Thats not even possible! What is going on??

Our apt complex switched from coins to this app awhile back. While d the cycle status is nice, there's a lot about this that I don't like. The main problem is that the apps login cannot be used on multiple phones: when I'm at work, my partner & college-age children can't do their laundry at home, because they can't login to my caleco acct on their phones.

Works great! No more searching for quarters, just scan QR, hit OK , select cycle , and hit start. Maybe they could a physical payment option, just in case of an emergency

The app is good and for the most part works well, but needs better refill options. There should be an option to only refill with $5, not a $10 minimum. Also, I found that if I start a cycle, the cycle status page may say '46 minutes remaining' then if I close the app and reopen it just a few minutes later, the cycle status will then say "All cycles Finished" which is not right. There should be more stability in cycle status to maintain even if app closes. Good otherwise!

Always takes far longer to establish a connection than it would to just add quarters - sometimes 2+ minutes. Seems to be impossible to add time to a dryer. Credit card refill is fast & easy, guess that indicates where the priorities are.

Landlords DO NOT USE This app has been nothing but headache after headache. The app looks like it was developed by a college student who graduated 8 years ago and hasn't touched it since. I'm having connectivity issues, payment issues, and security concerns. I never thought of technology as a tool for making something as simple as paying for a laundry cycle as complicated as an unsolvable puzzle game. So so so frustrating. Don't say you weren't warned after reading this review.

Just moved to a place that uses this brand. I loaded the physical card with $20 before knowing there was an app. Made an account and put in my wash card number but app kept saying balance was $0. The 'help' tab is blank, not even a contact number. Called the customer line found on Google and got no answer. I'll just stick to the card. App looked nice but was useless.

I absolutely love this app!! It's minimizes having to find somewhere to get quarters to use machines, I like the alerts I receive when mi loads are done and ready for me to pick up. The app is easy to use I learned how to use it within 5 mins after downloading it. This app is amazing!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏thank you thank you thank you!!!!

24/7 Location Access. This is one of those creepy aps that will view your location at all times even when you're not using the app. The only reason that is ever a thing is when the company is selling your location info to advertisers 👀

Can't get the app to open. A technician was out and was trying his best with technical support and nothing worked. In spite of this app not working, I have to say you have the best customer service I ever encountered.

Super convenient. No more quarters or refilling cards in finicky machines that may or may not accept bills you're trying to feed them.. Just refill funds from Google pay. Great solution for what used to be a very annoying part of doing laundry.

App is designed well and mostly a good experience. Notifications are not exactly correlated with completion cycles of washer or dryer machines. Automatic logout of app is really a pain.

One star 🌟 and a 👆 (Middle finger) for being a Smartass! By not letting me select the duration smaller than 60 mins. And for providing the choice to select smaller duration only at the start of the drying cycle of 60 mins.

I mean couldn't be worse I link my laundry card but didn't take funds out of it because I don't trust the app to have my debit card to be on it and constantly says add debit when my other card still has credits

Why do i HAVE to turn on Location +bluetooth and why do you need my phone number? If the machines work through NFC cards then wouldnt it make more sense to just use NFC with the app as well?

Good with major flaw. It doesn't hold cycle state if app gets closed. I still need mobile alarm to make sure I empty the laundry in time.

App is way to use. Only issues are $10 is the lowest you can add to your account $5 would be great. Also, sometimes you aren't aware of when your cycle is done

Could better, sometimes the app does not connect to the machine. Also it states the cycle is finished before it actually is.

If you leave the app while washing or drying it stops the wash cycle countdown. Please add an option to load funds on the wash card via the app. The app is good otherwise.
