Loaded easily and promptly duplicated existing events from my calendars inserting them into wrong dates and changed the time and date on others. Didn't inspire confidence. Had to uninstall. Looking for a better samsung active 2 watch calendar. The installed one could use a few additional features such as indications on the monthly presentation that certain dates have events in them.
Speculation: Maybe the problem with Syncing calendar as with Contacts, for Google users, anyway... Am new to smart watches and fitness gadgets. Bought Galaxy Watch Active the other day. Built in calendar did not sync to my Google (where I have contacts, calendar, email, everything), and initially, neither would the Contacts sync! Apparently Google and Samsung don't play well together. I managed to somehow get Samsung and Google contacts sync'ing by setting a permission somewhere (wish I could remember how exactly.) (NB: At least with Contacts, Google made it a stand-alone app, no longer built inside Gmail; perhaps is same with Calendar.) Looking for solution to Calendar not being sync'd, I found this app and voila! suddenly my Watch Calendar is immediately populated. (Why the initializing of the Watch and original setup didn't prompt for this, I have no idea.) Grateful it is working now. I suspect the key is to be sure your Samsung apps are permitted to Sync with your Google (or other) apps, whether by some direct connection or by importing/exporting features.
Hi Dev. Hope you are well. Can you please confirm A12 compatibility. See last changelog was for 11. App works on 12. But not syncing all calendars. Sometimes no sync at all. Need app as I'm using pixel ROM. Please help. Thank you for this great app
In Google calendar you can set up events and reminders. Apparently this app only syncs events and not reminders. I'm quite disappointed because it's paid and it doesn't offer anything more than the default calendar app that's in the watch (Active 2).
The only thing is app does is connect it to your events (which is already available with the stock calendar app). It's a waste of money. I though all Google calendar's inputs would be synced (reminders, events, etc.) but only the events were synced.
Really works fine, even with outlook/exchange calendar events. It would however be nice, if one could change to the previous/next day in the Agenda view by swiping right/left. As well a widget would be nice.
This doesn't work, calendar doesn't sync with watch. I downloaded it and starting getting tons of notifications for things that happened in the past few months. Promptly deleted it.
Events created on my galaxy watch 3 synchs over to my phone but existing events in my google calendar aren't synching to the watch app. The companion app displays all the events but it does not transfer over to the watch. Hope this gets fixed.
Cannot get my Gear S3 Frontier to sync with my phone (Nexus 5). The calendar on my phone is synced with my Google Calendar, but that's it. My Gear S3 shows the calendar (days/weeks/months, etc) but no events. How do I sync them? In addition, my phone shows that there's an update available, but when I tap on "Update" all I get is a white screen.
Finally can see my Google calendar on my watch! So easy to set up too. Just go into setting and select your Gmail calendar and it's instantly on my watch! Thank you!!
The fact that reminders are excluded from the app when they are on my phone is ridiculous. For a 3.00 app representing Google I'm disappointed. But I can't share my Samsung calendar between my wife and I so it will have to do for now.
Not sure what this is but it did not sync with gear fit 2 pro. Someone mentioned it only syncs events and not reminders and I really just need it for reminders so pointless for me.
This app was advertised to link tasks to the galaxy watch, but it only links the calendar, and I already had that. Ripped off
How do I get the calender to actually look like the pics advertised? Im using Galaxy Watch 46, and all I get is the corner of the number block coloured, and this is distracting, Id much rather have it in block colours like shown in the pics. Is this possible? If so, how? Also, as one other person said, colour coding for full day, half day, or select time events would be great. Thanks.
Not very flexible, can't customize view, would like to see specific calendar on watch and other on phone.
Only way to access app is through App Shorcuts... takes too long... easier to use inferior stock calendar app off home screen widget.
Excellent app! Love the functionality! I'd love to see a widget and a schedule option also.
Worked amazingly. Syncs quickly. Immediately got all my outlook and other calendars all together on my watch
Better than the last few reviews, you got to know how to use a Calander other than that it's got dark theme and all the features needed for my buisness so awesome job
Looks great and shows event on month view which samsung calendar on watch doesn't.
paid version is keep on crashing on Galaxy Gear S SM-R750. hopefully developer may look into this matter and release a fix soon!
No additional functionality over stock app to speak of. No option for refund. Total rip off.
I wanna shave off half a star just 'cause it doesn't have a widget option, but otherwise it's totally good
i didn't find any documents or FAQ for this app , and couldn't find how to add this widget to my gear S3
no extra features than stock calendar, also no way to set the week start day is stock on mondays
No google reminders show up and nothing synchs to the galaxy 3 watch.
Does not sync to the phone.
First impressions seem to show that this calendar will deliver
What I needed. Sync two calendars to watch.
I'm using a Pixel 4XL with my Galaxy Watch 46mm. I was disappointed that Google Services cant sync up with the watch's operating system. Then I found Calendar Gear app. This app is seamless. Install it, fire up the app on your phone, and refresh the app on phone to make sure it syncs up with your Google Calendar. After that, I can now see events on my watch. If you have multiple Google accounts on your phone, makes sure you select the correct one. I hope they make a companion app for Reminders.
