This is one of very useful app in my device. If there are more options provided for enabling the silent mode it would definitely recommended for 5 🌟. I would say dev plz update the app with some nore exclusions options.
It's bad enough when your cell phone rings during a meeting, but it's worse when you forget to turn your ring tone back on, so that you end up missing calls for the next several hours. Calendar Mute handles both ends of your meeting flawlessly. A notification is even sent to your smart watch, which confirms the ringtone status when it turns off and again when it's restored. If you have multiple calendars on your phone, you can choose to sync some, but not others. I've been looking for just such an app for months and I'm grateful that the developer made such a simple, lightweight app that just runs. There's no bloatware or intrusive actions or notifications. And the lack of any cool graphics, is actually a blessing, because it means your phone's power management settings will simply ignore this app and let it run in the background the way it's supposed to run. Heck, you don't need any special graphics anyway because, once you set it up to sync to your calendars, switch to vibrate in meetings, and then to revert to your original ringtone settings after your meetings, you can forget it! You won't have to look at it again. It's not flashy, but it's awesome. And the setup takes about thirty seconds, or less! Finally, because this outstanding app is both free and ad-free, consider it a great gift from an altruistic stranger. It really is a gem! Galaxy Note 8 user
Just works, simple to the point NO ADS app. Google calendar and exchange tested. Love the delay feature and busy events.
Really nice to sync with the calenders. For future versions maybe you could have different actions for different calendars, and also actions based on time for sleep for instance. Thank you.
Solves my problem of forgetting to switch between silent and vibrate before and after classes. The "only for busy" party doesn't seem to work. I get silence for free events too on galaxy S5.
Latest android update made the app stop working. Edit: uninstall and reinstall fixed issue.
The app silenced my phone for an event. I closed it but it didn't revert back to non-silenced. Even now, none of my apps make sounds any more.
It worked when I set it to come on when the event started. But when I set it to turn on a few minutes earlier, even though a notice appeared in the notification area saying it was muted, in fact it was not muted. So that feature is not working on my Galaxy Alpha with Lollipop.
The app works great until it's terminated by the system as a background app. Please add option to enable persistent notification for the app which would constantly display app status in notification area thus increasing app priority and stopping android from closing it as a background app to free the RAM.
Not reliable since Android 7.0 update. Worked great until then but now it just gets me into trouble because I expect it to work like it used to.
This is just what i needed! I'll give full 5 star promise! but pleas add “Do not disturb” mode before that. :p i know it won't be that much of a pain :D
App triggers on "Out of Office" appointments. Should only trigger on "Busy" appointments, as stated in configured options.
Much better than using 'Do Not Disturb' because it still allows alerts, notifications, etc. to go to my Android Wear watch! This should be built into Android!
Does one thing and does it very well.
Can you add option to make custom filters? (Search for specific word in title/discription to select specific profile)
This app does exactly what it advertises for free. And it does it well!
Didn't sync with my calender
It could have an option to not mute/disable mute when in/entering car mode.
Just what I needed! Thank you!
Please add an option: When the event ends - set ringtone volume to MAX.
Great app simple but very effective
I have given this app permission to autostart but still i have to open it myself.
Simple, efficient, love it!
But if it does... where do I donate?
Great idea and execution!
Does what it says.
This app is just what I need. Great. However, there's one thing that needs fixing before I can use it. I'm using a Nexus 5, running Android Lollipop. The app is supposed to activate the Silent Mode, right? On my phone, the Priority Mode is activated. For me, this means my phone is not silent - some calls and messages come through. PLEASE FIX!
Not sure if it was android update to 5.1.1 , or the Google calendar update. But now it doesn't mute at all. Have uninstalled and reinstalled.
It's a great app and idea, although it's given high scores, yet the development stopped for a long while, it worked with older Android version, but newer versions needs different treatment as it didn't function properly. I'm using for a very long time, but time to try anther similar app to have it work for newer Android OS versions... Well done for the developer and I wish if he kept improvements..
