This is a Facebook calendar sync app written for Android. I looked everywhere on the Android app store for a Facebook sync app that worked as its own calendar provider. Rather than syncing with the Google calendar, this app generates its own calendar within Android for syncing and storing Facebook events.
The app stores Facebook events in 5 calendars:
Events I'm Attending: Contains events the user has RSVP'd as "Going"Events I May Be Attending: Contains events the user has RSVP'd as "Maybe"Events I Am Not Attending: Contains events the user has RSVP'd as "Not Going"Events I Have Not Responded To: Contains events the user has been invited to but not responded toFriends' Birthdays: User's friends' birthdays

Features:
Android 4.0.3+:
- Set sync schedule: Set how often the app will sync with Facebook. This is not an exact setting, since the SyncAdapter is controlled by Android directly, but Android will do its best to sync at your desired sync rate.
- Calendar colors: Choose a user-defined color for each of the five calendars the app creates.
Android 4.1+:
- Custom app link: Adds Facebook link to all events created by this app. Requires your calendar app to support CUSTOM_APP_URI. The default Google Calendar app does this by adding a button just after the event description. Link will take the user to the Facebook event page (if clicked in an event) or friend's Facebook profile (if clicked in a friend's birthday).

Android Permissions Required:
INTERNET: Used to contact Facebook's servers for event info
AUTHENTICATE_ACCOUNTS, GET_ACCOUNTS, MANAGE_ACCOUNTS, USE_CREDENTIALS: required to create and manage a FacebookCalendarSync account in Android's Accounts and Sync system.
READ_CALENDAR, WRITE_CALENDAR: Used to write Facebook events into the Android calendar database.
WRITE_SYNC_SETTINGS, READ_SYNC_SETTINGS: required in order to set the amount of time between sync requests
READ_LOGS: used by the debug tools to allow the user to send logs to the developer
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: in order to sync only on WiFi, app needs to check whether user is connected to WiFi
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: In-app trouble ticket system allows users to attach screenshots or other images to help illustrate problems they are having with the app.
Facebook Permissions Required:
user_events: required to access user's events to put them on the calendar
user_friends: required to access user's friends list, in order to put friends' birthdays on calendar
email: required to properly set RSVP status. Google's calendar app color codes events based on the RSVP status of the user's email
user_birthday: required to access user's birthday to put on calendar

This app has not successfully synced in a year & a half. It literally doesn't do what it's supposed to be doing. I have tried everything to sync manually, but it just won't sync. What a waste of space!
Use to work great now it will not sync an always says its in development mode and I need to ask for a certain permissions to use. It's not worked for a month now! Very disappointed that it stopped working!
Can't connect to Facebook. Gives me errors. Yes, using that "most current" version, which is approaching 2 years old. Seems like it's abandonware now.
"Does not have correct permissions" I have been using this app for many years and suddenly this. No updates received to fix this. I'll probably uninstall this from my Samsung S6 Edge Plus. My mom's LG G3 still works though. (Scratching my head...)
This app was brilliantly, best out there but just got new phone and it won't let me add my account,app doesn't haven't permissions when it does!! Your fix hasn't worked.Please repair I miss it.
Looks like it's beta version, impossible to log into FB account if you are not tester. "Connect us" functionality also doesn't work. Sad, it was fun to use it some time ago
I cannot log in. keep getting the following error message: App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you do not have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission. i use to like this app..
Unable to add account. it says it doesn't have permissions. i have updated the app to 11.2. Still same issue. os - Android 8.1.0
Tried adding my Facebook account and was informed that the app didn't have correct permissions and wouldn't add the account. No idea what to do.
Stopped working. Unable to sync with Samsung 8 Note. I have to manually enter FB events in my calendar now.
Was working well until the known permission error hit me. I have waited too long for a fix, so I'm finding a new app.
It's been working great for a long time, but doesn't seem to work on Oreo. Says permissions are not granted...
I used to use it but it stopped working. I uninstalled and the installed again but it still won't work. I liked it when it worked.

guys as Facebook changes something from there end so we cant use this app now is this possible if i download an older version of Facebook and then try to connect
Isn't working on my phone,it has been showing this app is not having permission to sync my Facebook.
Doesn't sync any dates now ... shows error every time in the synching process.
Horrible app now. Use to be able to use the app, but now its saying app doesnt have the appropriate permission or something like that. Wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

Workes great on sgs7 active. Now it says doesn't have permission on sg note 9.

Was grt till 2 mths back. Now keep getting error 'calendar unable to sync with facebook'. I'm left with no option other than uninstalling this app.
