Calgary Public Library

I suppose this gets the job done but it's pretty archaic. Would be nice to add some basic notification functionality. E.g., comfigure sending notifications based on books coming up for renewal, or those that have to be returned by a certain date.

The app is fine if outdated. The New Central Library is not listed and the UI is extremely outdated and clunky. It still lacks the ability to book rooms for the new library. Overall, not impressed.

Older app but it works well. Can search, place hold, renew etc with no problem.

Good app. Would love to be able to toggle between accounts and not have to sign in and out for each account.

I wish we could have push notifications on the phone for due dates instead of just email.

Uninstalled app under protest due to CPL not allowing access to all databases that the university has. Also cut up my library card for the same reason mentioned above. When CPL gets full access to the university of Calgary library databases, then I will reconsider reinstalling this app

Weak. The website looks like a mobile app and the mobile app looks like a terrible website. Horrid UI...so weird

How's my city gonna disrespect the library app like this smh. The app is great honestly why are y'all complaining. It's great. @Devs I read a lot more now thanks to this app. So thank you.

Why do I need to sign in every ten seconds? This app is very awkward

I'm not happy with the fact that I had to give this app permissions to my phone and caller id. There is absolutely no reason for it. Other than that the app is ok.

This app needs an update. It's been awhile since the app had an update. Filtering to narrow down the search is very limited. Definitely needs a good review/revamp with focus on effective query results (by allowing asp user top have more options in filtering) in response to what patrons would want to find.

It's better than going into a browser, but not by much. They app is laggy, and a lot of features are just not there. Along with other users, I am looking forward to a big update.

It's okay

I like the functionality of the app, but I don't like the look. It feels clunky and outdated. I think a streamlined look would suit the app better.

I liked this app but it crashes every time I open it now. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't help. Too bad because it's much easier to use than the mobile site.

Calgary public library is the greatest and so is this app.

Doesn't update renwals on screen. Slow. Website on phone works much better. Needs improvement

The app seems very slow, and I can't view new titles in my category of choice (science fiction). The refine button lead me to believe I might be able to select the genre from there, but this seemed to do nothing. Overall, I'm not too impressed, although I will use this app for the barcode feature when checking out books.

It take forever to load thumbnails. The search function finally started working once the I had the app open for a while. This app needs some work.

I don't really see the point in using this app, it doesn't give much info. I would only use it to renew books? I'll more than likely just use the website. I want to see more than what books have been purchased. I want to see a calendar with activities, a navigation menu.

This app is not very user friendly. It isn't readily apparent how to access a user's account to see checked-out items or holds. I think I'll likely go to the library's website from the browser on my phone. This app could really use a sidebar menu of some sort for easier navigation.

Only thing thats bothering me is that it takes to long to load "my borrowings", I don't want to wait 45 seconds to find out if I have a book late. I wanna know as soon as I can when I open the app. Other than that the apps pretty good.
