Terrible User Experience. Constantly have to connect just to browse my libraries. I have to select a sort category (every time) just to view my books. Doesn't show books from all libraries. Very poor navigation as if the app was designed by a very technical person without knowledge of UX. There seems to be others apps that do a better job. This demo version doesn't inspire confidence for me to buy the full version.
Can't get devices to connect through Windows 10, carried out all the fixes via the help file to no avail. Seems to be a rather complicated process for Calibre when all my other apps connect with very little effort. Reluctantly giving up.
Honestly don't know what I'd do without this app It does exactly what it's meant to and is highly customizable. Not only that, it has been completely, 100% reliable. Never have to restart it or the calibre server. Perfect app.
Skip the demo and buy premium app. I didn't buy in play store but did in apple store for my iPad. The dev for this app is a genuis. It is as simple as open wireless connect setting on PC calibre, hit connect on your device and it's set. Books transfer quickly. I've never had even a glitch. Flawless. My brain is the only issue...if I forget to delete epub after convert mobi, both transfer to my iPad. I can't get it to let me pick format after so I redo it & del epb 1st. I only read via Kindle app
Terrible support. I contacted the developer multiple times as I cannot get it to connect to my library in DropBox, but there was no response. Obviously not buying the paid version! I just bought Calibre Sync - it works perfectly!!
Extremely easy way to transfer your Calibre books to your handheld device - phone, tablet etc. The only drawback is that you have have a separate reader to open the books.
I find it weird that it's only for connecting desktop library to mobile phone instead of also a reader. But it's good at what it says it does (except syncing - still does not work)
I love the idea of this app but I cannot connect my university onedrive account where my calibre library is stored. I have looked all over the internet and cannot find an answer for this as it seems the devs do not respond. Please can you advise how to fix this or if it will ever be possible. I was going to buy the full version but not if it does not work with my onedrive account
Took a little bit to get the hang of it but once I knew the how-to's it worked beautifully. It's a very useful tool for transferring book files to your device and I highly recommend it.
I had a problem connecting the demo app until I guessed it was a firewall issue in windows 10. Allow the exes for both calibre and calibre-server access via firewall and it worked immediately. (It may only need the calibre-server.exe so try that first)
This app works well for moving books from my computer to my tablet and phone. I'm not trying to use it for any purpose beyond that, so I'm happy. If you that's what you're looking for, you'll be pleased. It's a little fiddly to set up. Then again, so is Calibre. If you can handle Calibre you should be fine with this.
tried every which way to connect and read the help files. Just won't connect neither directly wirelessly or through onedrive.
Really good app. Works great and syncing between devices is very simple! And no ads too!!
Doesn't allow copy/pasting my password to connect to my storage. Couldn't find Help or contact info _within_ the App.
It runs on the tablet, but not worth fighting with to get it to connect with Calibre via wireless. Gave up and uninstalled.
Well I'm glad there is a free version because it just doesn't work. It shows I have no files in my dropbox.
A great app. Works perfectly with Calibre, one only needs to ensure that the PC hosting Calibre is discoverable on the network.
I don't find this app useful because the kindle e-reader + Kindle app are covering all my reading needs. But the desktop version of the app is so nice and useful. So I think developer deserves some respect
This app allows me to get my books from my mac pro to my galaxy tablet, I've had no problems with it and have been using it for several years.
Im using onedrive for education but I cannot log in and connect to my cloud library. Dropbox doesn't work anymore either. No one is fixing this?
Disappointing. This will apparently work with the calibre directory shared in the cloud, but not a local directory on the SD card.
Wow! It works good with desktop having windows as well as Ubuntu operating system. The connectivity is smooth. I enjoyed it!
U can't read a book without downloading. What's the point of a server when u have to download and keep all books on mobile itself and loos all storage. Stupid
works great, allows me to transfer books from PC to Android tablet wirelessly and no external drive needed
Great companion for your Calibre book library on your computer, easy to transfer and read your books.
Could not get the to work with my wifi. Extremely complex for the average user.
Had a few doubts prior to installing but the app is amazing. Easy to use and does what's needed.
When trying to sign in to Dropbox to accept permissions the app screen just flashes black and white.
Great work around so I can use my Calibre library and read newspapers on my Android tablet.
I tried this app multiple times with different phones and always have issues. For example when I click on an author it doesn't go to the authors books, it goes back to the main page where I choose hot books, authors, etc. And it's this infinite loop. I wish I could just click on the authors and then see his books, don't see why it has to be so complicated. Besides that it does what I need, just annoying to navigate.
