California Road Report

I rely heavily on this app. It shows the active incidents in CHP CAD. When it's up, I give it 5 stars, but the app is occasionally down, and that's frustrating. The latest update really seemed to throw a wrench into the spokes for several days.

CARR is so helpful in my winter travels, it shows me chain requirements, road incidents, my favorite the highway cameras (so I can check for snow), and much more. The new version now that the glitches have been worked out is awesome.

I like the old version a lot better this one is completely useless. I do not live in the Bay Area so why am I seeing everything in the Bay Area. stupid idea to change something right in the middle of winter when I really want to see chain controls. whoever decided to change this should be let go.

Great app, works great. I would love to be notified if something happens in my area. Im not sure what the "driving" button does. I like how you can read CHP incident notes, this is the most up to date you can get.

Looks like the recent issues have been resolved now, and this great app is back to all its glory (5 stars). This is the most useful highway-related app, with great sets of useful info all in one place, with clean nice-to-view/easy-to-use UI (5 stars). And the developer responds promptly, to boot.

UPDATE 2/1/19: What a difference a week makes. Today's update fixed the issues. Very useful for anyone traveling around the state. No need to pile on, other reviews say it all. It was a great app until the latest update. Uninstalled.

Updated review: initially I experienced problems with the subscription notifications. However, the developer worked through the problems and resolved the quickly. App works great. Highly recommended

horrible update made a clunky bad app even more horrible. use state apps all over the west and this one is now the worst. Update: It now works still a little on the slow side but you can now see chain controls and road info.

This app is very inaccurate. It use to work great a few months ago. Now it's garbage. And I've removed it and installed it several times. Still doesn't work. There are also no new updates. I have the current update.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. There is nothing that says there is an update. My phone is set up to do automatic updates. Maybe this is why things dont work. Maybe the update is bad.

this is a very bad update you can't get to the web cams cause sometimes i perfer to look at the road conditions instead of hearing about them the app is not showing cameras on any road. i perfer the way it was as a truck driver its nice to see what I'm driving into.

Update 01/17/2020. Rolled back by Dev, all working as before!! Thank you for watching the reviews! DOA today's update 01/16/2020 has broken the app. "Update to the newest version" does not work! 10/20/2020 update doesn't stream the cameras. Please revert, the streaming video was very helpful especially with all the fires.

I'm so disappointed! People want to see the hotspots, not the palm trees. And half the cameras aren't on line. Get us working cameras in the hot spots. And the traffic problems aren't as fast to show up on the map. More, more, more.... plz!

This is the best app for California road conditions. I am a professional driver and I use this app religiously. As a trucker, I often had people ask me while stuck in traffic "what is going on?" This is because just like police, we use radios to communicate with each other and information is relayed to other truckers. Now, you don't have to ask anybody, you can find out yourself with this easy to use app.

I appreciated the acknowledgement of the mistake from the recent update. Now that the issue was fixed, it is back to being a very good app. Although I still liked the original version better.

Great app for traffic incidents in California. I work for a newspaper company and this really is a lot easier to use than the actual CHP CAD system. Thanks!

Best traffic app I've ever had. The only thing you could do to improve is make this app for every state. I'm a truck driver and this app saves me time and money. I absolutely love this app 😎😎

Incidents, closures, etc... do nothing, show nothing. Just a click noise....also view camera crashed the app

Stopped working. Just had plea for money, which I might pay if I could get the application to work. Big disappointment, loved this for figuring out where the traffic was in the snow.

Nothing is updated I look for road conditions on the fwy and it says there is nothing poster and when I go there there are nothing but Lanes closed and constructions everywhere bad app

Love this app comes in handy when traveling in bad weather areas like Truckee Calif .

No web cam options for the Tahoe region anymore. App is hard to navigate now after the update. I uninstalled!

Ever since I did my update a few days ago it doesn't even show incidents anymore and I rely on thus app to be up to date on road conditions for my job

Good app overall, but camera live feeds are too slow to load

Latest update on 2/1 not working. Closes when entering highway numbers on all devices
