It's a good app and has some great workouts. I felt like the pro version was reasonably priced but I took off a star because even though I have the pro membership, I still receive the advertising notifications to upgrade to pro.

The App is great, no bugs and well designed (fyi I'm a premium user). My concern is about the lack of progression for beginners for learning some movements such as "handstand". If I want to learn "skin the cat" movement or "handstand", you cannot ask me already in the first training to do an handstand against the wall when I don't feel comfortable yet to do an handstand. You cannot ask me to perform a "skin the cat" if you have not tested my shoulder mobility and shoulder strength.

I am loving this app so far. I'm athletic, but this is my first foray into calisthenics. And I've never been able to do a real pushup This app has made it completely accessible to me! I just wish there was a way to add the challenges and programs to the weekly schedule. Otherwise, I love the diverse activities, the helpful articles, videos and especially the smart routines!! Great app.

Been great on beginning my journey with calisthenics. Many great workouts to choose from, with a customizable schedule. Only problem is that they don't let you add workouts to your weekly schedule from the workout. You have to remember the name and manually search for each workout to put on your schedule. If you could just add the program your on to it from the program, this app would be perfect.

Stellar app! Stable, looks good, and most importantly, the workouts are great! I like how they are color coded based on difficulty / required skill level. The planner is a nice feature but could be improved. The 6 video limit for free accounts is inconvenient... but I understand and am considering an upgrade. My only issue is with the 21-day challenge. I get delayed-onset muscle soreness, so the next day's workout is often impossible to do for me, because it works the same (sore) muscles!

So far I like it, just started using it 2 days ago. I'm in the process now of setting/creating my schedule but I wish while doing so I could read what each workout entails. It doesn't make sense I choose a workout without knowing what it is, then I have to hit the Back button that takes me all the way back to the home screen (doesn't stay on the schedule), go back into the schedule, then click on the workout to read what it is. There should be a way to view them all while editing our schedule.

$30 a year subscription? Yes please! Workouts are definitely achievable for those just starting out. How-to-videos provide great explanations of the moves. Overall I'm happy with it. Some polishing of the timer would be good. Like I wish once I set the length of my breaks between rounds/sets it would automatically start rather than having to manually start each time.

I love this overall app, the content and the exercise progression part. Its definitely worth the money. I don't like the new UI/UX, the previous one was very simple and elegant with three colors give away the type of exercise (beginner, intermediate and advanced) . Its very complicated now and difficult to browse through.

Simply the best app I have used so far. Great for progressive loading, huge variety of exercises, all levels, skills progression. I want to add something like an enhancement to the smart progress. It is a good idea for your progress in one exercise to be updated through all the programs under smart. For instance, if I can do 4 set if 8 under muscle up smart progress, if I move to back and triceps under smart as well, it is not logical to start again from 4 sets of 4.

Purchased a subscription yesterday - the app in itself is very nice, has simple and beautiful design, the exercises and challenges are an exceptionally good workout option for this much money. Hovewer, there are some things that are really frustrating and need fixing. The "time up" sound is too peaceful and musical, with background music it's hard to hear. Also would be nice to have countdown beeps. Also I cannot find a way to put my program's workouts into my schedule, which is really annoying.

Amazing app! It's only been a week and I can start to see improvements on certain moves. I know you can follow workouts online, but it's great to have that all in one place. There are so many training programs that are easy to follow and made for training in the long run - to start at your skill level and improve from there. The app is well organized and has the tools for people from beginners to intermediate to advanced skill levels. Plus, informative articles to not just do, but learn. Love it

I use it during the lockdown. Routines are easy to follow and the interface is very user friendly. The progress is real and now I can do front level:) I don't give it 5 stars because explanation of some exercises and some routines can be more detailed. For example in handstand routine you need to rapidly pass from handstant on the wall to pure handstand. I think that there must something in between. However great app. Hope you will improve some exercises explanation and routines

Very good app! I'm actually having tons of fun with it! It would be great if it was possible to sync it with Google Fit. Also, many of the pictures/vids are a bit discouraging, having some skinny teenagers showing you how to do the excercises makes you think you won't be building a body with this at all. Not that you need a great body to do this right, but it's just more encouraging.

The workouts aren't too difficult, even as a beginner, and they seem very effective, as I can feel all the muscle groups being worked and needing recovery the following few days, but strength is gained fast. The short tutorial vids are very helpful for workouts that I'm not sure how to execute. I'm always skeptical of workout apps, and they're rarely good for beginners of any type, but this app is real and great for anyone as the workouts only use bodyweight and can be altered to be easier.

the app has a greate variety of exercies, routines and thought out programs. The user interface is very impressive and definitely the "planning schedule" part need to be worked on more ( like adding the ability to directly add your routine to the schedule in the "routines" section instead of backing all the way to the main screen to be able to do that ). Despite that, this is a gem and i recommend it.

Great app, I am using the "SMART" workouts in it for almost a year now and the progress is huge from where I was before, I was training for 3 years now and progress was a lot slower than it is now, so if you really wanna do calisthenics use the app. But! It doesnt have really informative pointers on how to do exercises the best way so you will need the internet for that from time to time.

Very good app. The free version is very good and allowed me to change from my other fitness app to this one. It would be very helpful to have a filter for exercises routines with bar and body weight only. Lots of the routines include dips and bar work which are not available everywhere. Other than that, the app is oncredible and totally worth the download!

I actaully like the workouts. The app could use some improvements like more control over the reps and especially over some annoying bugs that freeze the screen yet your timer keeps going. Can't press the finish button between sets. Had to finish my workout on my own. Update: Last update improved the app. Now we have a timer for timed exercises. Excellent addition. Really useful.

I want to give 5 stars cuz it's the first app that really does teach you proper calisthenics. ***plus for graphics. Clear directions. Great videos to show ea move. A calendar to set up routines. Built in timer. And adjusts to ur ability which it asks after ea workout.... The negative it can b confusing. not sure if there is a way to pick specific things you are looking for : arms. Legs. Or no equip.. it's alot confusing. wish after a workout u could add straight to routine. Almost perfect app

The only app I use every single day. I used to just mess around on the rings and pull up bars, banging out muscle ups and handstand pushups until I got tired. Sure I made some progress, but I eventually stalled. I've been using this app for 4 months now and I've seen massive gains in strength, size, and skills. It's all down to how well the app manages progressive overload. It moves you along at just the right pace so you can achieve a little more each workout. The smart progress feature is the best I've ever seen. It will add in new exercises once you've mastered easier ones. I just held my first straddle planche for a few seconds today after 4 months of the planche progression. It would have taken way longer without the steady progress that the app enabled. I've been hammering away at the planche progression, FL progression, and legs workout. But now I'm getting into some of the freestyle moves (360 bar spin + tornado) and falling in love with the app all over again! Thanks for making progress and working out so fun, Calisteniapp!

I love how the app uses a leveling system to reach your goal. It shows you how far you need to go and what you need to do to get there. A possible improvement to the app is how it explains an exercise. Sometimes the descriptions are short and shallow on information. More often then not, I search the web for a proper explanation. I think this is very important and contributes to injury prevention and a steady progression. Another upside to the app is the layout. It's clean and easy to navigate.

This is not your standard 20x squats, 10 push-ups, 15 jumping jacks kinda app! It had excelent design for showing you much much more than that, if you train for longer time. What I especially love about this app is intermediate / advanced rings program. Its excellent! There is much out there for beginners, but not much of harder stuff. This showed me how to do some awesome advanced moves:) And if you cant do them jet, it has structured ways to get you there. 5 stars for that.
