The app doesn't let me register. I get as far as putting in a screen name and then it just glitches and goes to some other screen that says "your information" but doesn't allow me to enter anything. All you can do is push submit and then it takes you so some error screen saying I need to contact them. I have no clue why it does that. I tried multiple times to add my screen name and then not click anything but as soon as I try to go to the password space it freaks out again. This app is useless
The app doesn't allow you to up load documents while in it, and other features on websites it takes you to for applying to jobs. It also formats incorrectly when editing cover sheets and resumes in the app.. Makes it very ineffective for it's intended use. Edit: Replying to developer: Then it is pointless to use to apply to jobs because uploading is required!
The app states that I can certify benefits, see important notifications and most importantly get a snapshot of your file claim summary including the last payment made, weekly benefit amount and claim balance. I can assure you it does none of these essential things it promises! The home page gives no direction as to where to go to find this information. The only tabs available are to find jobs (which albeit is a good thing) but that page doesn't even LOAD. no direction at all with this app.
Needs a bit more work in an ability to allow forms to be emailed through the app, Hello, What I meant was there is a missing program in the resume to email key point automatic links. Another words the original download is missing in caljobs. There is similar function in email through applying online.
People are directed to download this app to access and or file a claim due to the website being overwhelmed... the problem is this app doesnt let you do that. And the only help you get is the "solutions team" responding to your review stating that their app " doesn't do that" .. so a whole lot of misleading and confusing information to run you in circles is what you are left with. Not to mention the very poor customer service. Way to not be helpful at all 👍
This app only takes you to jobs....and doesn't even take you there. It states you can access and manage your unemployment insurance but you cannot access anything including your account. Your UI web login does not work with this app either. It is totally separate from UI. Useless. There are better apps to find work. I need an app to access UI.
I have been trying to log in for the past week and am unable to log in. Worked fine before. Had my password saved, now just keep saying "login error, the login information you provided is invalid, please try again". I am able to login into the website but not the app. App is so much easier to use. Please fix!
Terrible app. You are not able to do any of the things your supposed to. The unemployment website tells you to use this app to check the status of your claim, and the app kicks you to website. Just adds onto the financial nightmare. I have not received a penny despite being told i cannot work! No one answers the phones, im not allowed to apply online. I had to spend 20 bucks faxing a form in and no response at all!
Doesn't work for me. On the rare occasion it doesn't open to an error message it only lets me enter a few characters before going to a password recovery screen. 100% unusable here!
Faulty. Will not let you sign in even if your information is correct. Doesnt let you even try to reset password. Frustrating and poorly made app just like the edd automated answering system
I have been waiting 4 months for a payment from EDD! They owe me for 10 weeks, and when I log in, it is telling me that 4 payments @ $1,052 have been PAID, but I still havent received my debit card! Talked to EDD on July 8, and they told me as soon as I certify the dates, my debit card should arrive within 5-7 days. NOTHING!!!!!! I have done EVERYTHING, and I still havent gotten 1 dime!
You can never log in. And please do not tell me it is the wrong password. I wrote my password down twice. Just to make sure I got it right. This app is useless. And to make matters worse you can not reach anyone by phone to help with your claim. As my bills pile up there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.
I found the app a little confusing when very first started to use it even with the help of the staff and when they finally got the bugs out I guess it was relatively easy to use and so I give it overall I give it a good thumbs up.but the fact that they still owe me for 4 months is kind of been unanswered after many repeated attempts to get some kind of information on that. And that I'm not too happy about.
The problem everyone's having is there is no UI Mobile App. This is the CAL JOBS app. The UI Mobile App should be in the same section as this app but it's not. And there fore when we are sent here via link, or because the EDD website is telling us to look this up, either way it's not showing up and the only thing close is this app cause it says EDD on it. Maybe you should change your logo to CAL JOBS so people dont continue getting confused. You're welcome. I thought for you at no extra charge
I have been trying over a week, several times a day to register. The same errors continues to come up in red writing - SSN INCORRECT & APPLY A VALID EMAIL. I have emailed "ask edd" but to no avail. Very frustrating especially when my phone interview is next week with edd!!😟🙏🏽
Well whats the point having this app if we cant do all that is available on the website. It would be very convenient if we could. I thought something was wrong with my password until I read some of the reviews.
Does not let me log on with the same credentials that work with the website. EDIT- THe problem is that this is the number one app that appears when searching EDD UI, and on the EDD UI website, it says to search for that.
Trying to log in but it doesn't work. It say wrong password. But when i use chrome to log in , and enter the same password it is work. So I don't what is the problem is.
Terrible UI. Confusing. Looks like it was made in the 90s. This app is an embarrassment to the state of California. Deleted after 5 minutes. Just login from a computer and don't waste your time with this piece of garbage.
Does not allow you to log in. Not useful. Update: it does allow you to log in. User error on my behalf. I was using the UI log in which is different from CalJobs log in. My initial review was wrong.
This is for Caljobs in general. In 15 years, I have never gotten a job through CalJobs. Not even an interview. Their process for searching for jobs and adding jobs to the resume is ridiculous. I had to put down my job at Wis as a Management job even though it wasn't. There are no options for Retail or inventory. Stupid EDD... And 99% of the jobs are specialized jobs. The other 1% take time to find using search words and criteria. Usually taking hours to pull up. Worst online job board ever!
App DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! I can't edit my resume, I can't submit a message to support and none of the features WORK. Just look at all of the 1 star reviews about this app. Have they fixed anything? NO! Have they responded to the 1 star reviews? NO!
Our EDD login credentials don't work, the WEBSITE that is down tells us to use THIS app to certify and apparently it's not the one. Not mixing it up either, the website link automatically directed me to THIS app.
Log in bugged to not accept login credentials. Username and password match but the app won't accept them. Fraudulent software. Will email the attorney general's office.
It always redirect you to the actual website so I don't see what the point of the app is but getting to the actual website works great pointless app doesn't make sense most likelygiving out your personal information only to redirect you fraud
Confirmed: working and kinda neat so far, still new to it, but so far so good. Sign-in on a web browser first to make sure you have the correct login and password so you don't blame the app. I had some User-error myself. Happy hunting =). UPDATE: Feedback section doesn't work = "It would be nice to have the option to upload a resume rather than input, that's what turned me away from the site in 2015." Times out before loading any search results, doesn't save searches, can't find a job with this app so far, looked promising, maybe a few more years in production? Uninstall - 2hrs on it
