Mostly good. The big ads that delay me from placing calls when I open the app are really annoying. The long splash screen on app launch is also aggravating. I would buy a premium version of this app to get rid of the ads. Also, the scheduled Do Not Disturb doesn't work. I get it set up, but then it never turns on or off, at least a far as I can tell. I also like the whitelist option for people who can get through DO NOT DISTURB.
Update below! This app is great! works really well! I'm so glad I found an app that actually does what it says it does! Update: After using it for a while I still like it for the most part, but I dont like the setting that says it'll pick up and hang up softly, no voicemail. That does not work. Because of that it's no longer 5 stars. I'm still getting voicemails. This app no longer allows hangup silently with no voicemail. Will be uninstalling.
After several months of good services started to leave all calls pass on, mostly from outside my contacts list. Even updating frequently didn't fix the problem. Uninstalling and going for another blocking app.
This app is less than useless. If a seller has multiple phone numbers they can still keep calling you even after you block their call. All they do is change their phone numbers and the calls continued.
Update: now it's not blocking at all so will be uninstalling I just downloaded this recently and calls are already getting through. They're figuring out how to get around these apps. Time to update. If this is fixed, happy to give 5
I've had it for a week now and I can tell a big difference on the annoying ro-bo calls that I use to get. From 20 calls or more a day down to less than 3 and it's free. Thanks 😌
I have "block restricted calls" on and I've gotten three 'restricted' calls since in an hour. Useless . And the "block all calls during certain times" doesn't work at all. It won't even save the times I input.
Sorry. Don't understand how it blocks. List of call history does not show all calls I've had.
It's letting calls that should be blocked ring through. It hasn't done that from the start, just recently.
Before learning about the call blocker app I was receiving anywhere from 10 to 30 spam calls per day. Thanks to call blocker now I get zero. Call blocker actually saved my mental health because the spam calls were driving me BONKERS. I WOULD GIVE MORE STARS IF MORE WERE POSSIBLE. THANK YOU CALL BLOCKER ok
The app seems to work good. But the problem is is blocking all calls. Now you have a setter. But the app does set the items that you need for it to function right. Your corporation is mostly needed. I hope to hear from you soon.
Love this app! It does EXACTLY what its supposed to! Im very happy with this app! I would recommend this app to anyone that wants to block people that are spam, or not in your contacts. And it tells you where those calls are coming from. Thank you for creating an app that actually DOES whats its supposed to do.
Recently I have been getting notifications very often that I should update the program to the latest version but there is no update option. It is ennoying. But in general I like the program, it does the work.
Great app so far. It's the only one I could find that has the option of entering just the 1st part of the number, so you can block whole number ranges. In one word, FANTASTIC!
I love this app! It really is free and it actually works as advertised. I have been having trouble with spam and scam calls, but today this app caught every one. I will recommend this to all of my friends.
Love the app. Works perfectly. If the number is not in my contacts it doesn't ring. If I am expecting a call from someone not in my list I can disable it and then restore the blocker when my call is complete. Recommend hughly. Update: I have loved this app but the latest update is bad. It does not block calls and I cannot erase the calls any longer. If not fixed, will delete and start with another app.
Needs a lot of attention by combining area codes and prefer numbers to block together instead of individual. That would be a big improvement.
This app is good. But, I've encountered two problems: 1. Selecting contacts for white list is very difficult.have to individually choose each contact and the list started from the beginning each time. It would be great if all white listed contacts can be selected and added at a time. 2. You cannot choose different schedule of dnd for different days of week. Same schedule in each day might not be preferred to all.It would be appreciable if schedule for each day can be defined separately.
I had been using Android's Do Not Disturb mode to block non-contact-list callers (while allowing everything else). But a recent Gear S3 update forces the watch to be in DND mode whenever the phone is, which turns off many of the watch's important features. The Call Blocker app restores my ability to block spam calls while keeping full watch functionality. Plus I can now reconfigure the phone's DND to stop all kinds of interruptions at selected times, instead of having it always enabled solely to block spammers. (Edit: turns out there's an option in the Gear Wearable app to turn off the DND sync, so Call Blocker isn't needed for that purpose. Still a fine app though.)
I simply wanted to permanently block calls from random numbers that keep calling me and this app does it well. Thank you. Verizon failed me again lol
I've been using this app about a year.. It certainly does block any n all calls from those who are Not on your Contact List!! Which is a blessing when it comes to the#s of telemarketing and scammers however I have yet to figure out how to allow the calls through that I may be in need of. *FYI..it you go into Settings: Allows you 3-4 choices regarding Answer"n the phone!! Total Block/no ring, Ring once the hang up w/no voicemail, I can't remember the final option but they do have options. Xcelnt!
Need to be able to block robocalls as they are getting around blockers especially if they are collection agencies who bother those people who do pay their bills. Also spam calls from the Philippines. I have do not disturb turned on my phone so I will give 3 out of 5 *s
Love it. It works as advertised. The only thing I would change is the blocked calls listing in my call logs.
When first installed, the app worked great. I had it set to block callers NOT in my contacts. Then a few weeks ago(after an update) it started blocking a few of the numbers in my contacts. Last week it started blocking ALL CALLS! I sent two emails to the feedback address in the app. I received NO REPLIES. Important calls that I cannot afford to miss were being blocked. I had to uninstall the app, it had become useless, and irritating.
I just love this app it really works the other ones don't really work all that well but this one does the only time my phone rings is when it's someone who is in my contacts I have gotten 16 people to download this app and they love it as much as I do thank you for coming up with this app
Love this app works great like it states, don't forget folks you are able to set up with the app to reject calls and leave no voicemail.
It actually does what it says. Junk calls get blocked, and a clear log is generated, so I can allow anyone that got filtered out.
Dropped stars because does not save the setting to "Pick up and hang up silently (no voicemail)", reverts to "Reject Automatically (with voicemail)"
USED to be great program but since this last update, if you set it to hang up no voicemail. It goes right to voicemail which completely makes app not worth while since you still get pest spam able to call you continuously. Dropped 3 stars for this reason.
