Call Blocker Free - Blacklist

I installed this a few days ago. I believe it's working! I was receiving multiple spam calls per day from the same number, seven after "blocking" it. Now I'm not getting any. No voicemail, either. It's wonderful! And you can add blocked numbers from your call history! No need to copy and paste these numbers.

Finally a call blocker that works on Android 10 AND feature-rich enough. 4 stars only because blocking mode "Mute without hanging up" does not work for me. As long as the default phone app is visible on the screen (Accept/Reject buttons), the blocker cannot mute the ringing. The same applies to all other call blocker apps as well, so it seems to be an issue on Android 10 devices. Blocking with hang up works well. Hope the above will be fixed in the future.

Unfortunately, this app does not appear to work on my Pixel 3. I set it to block any call that wasn't in my contacts, but regardless of whether it was told to "hang up" or "mute" the call and regardless of whether the undesired call was just digits or came through with some kind of call ID, the calls all still came through. I've heard there might be problems with call blocking on pixel devices, so maybe if you've got a pixel, this just won't work for you. Editing to reply to dev: Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately that doesn't change the behavior. I think what you're suggesting (on the Pixel3) is to go to Battery Optimization -> All Apps and make sure Call Blocker is "not optimized". That should let it continue running even "in the background". Calls still come through that aren't in my contacts. Similarly, even if I have the call blocker up (active) while awaiting a call that isn't in my contacts, it still comes through. I haven't found a whitelisting call blocker that works on Pixel devices yet, but I do appreciate the response!

It only worked for the 1sy week week of 2021 when I installed it but up to date all black listed calls are just coming through. Not even the 'accept on white list' option works😬😬🤕🤕

Sometimes works, it's set to block any unknown numbers but I've still recieved a few and even had my wife's call blocked which it's not supposed to do. I have the paid version. Do not buy

This app started working better and at least blocking calls not in my contacts. Unfortunately, I bought a new phone (same brand) and now it doesn't work at all. Calls just come right through. Very disappointing. Will probably uninstall unless it starts working. Back to the drawing board. Most of these don't work well. I'd gladly pay for a really good one. But the reviews on most aren't any better. Just sad this seems worthless with my new phone even after uninstalling it and installing it again.

Whew! I might have to update my review - - again, but for now it seems to be working. I reinstalled and did not have my app permissions set correctly. Fixed that and now it seems to be working. I want to allow whitelist and contact list, and of course the app needs access to your contacts. That said, I don't know why it would allow all calls. Seems like it would have blocked calls from numbers on my whitelist.

I give this app 1-star, and I'm installing it: I just uninstalled this app for the last time. Since the most recent update, Call Blocker has been blocking my contacts. I've installed the app, turned my phone off for 5 minutes, restarted my phone, & reinstalled the app in an attempt to fix the problem, all to no avail. I've had enough. Whatever changes you made are going to have a devastating effect on your product. Why can't you just leave well enough alone? This was my 3-star review: Call Blocker had been amazing in preventing nuisance calls from, scammers, spammers, & telemarketers, until recently. Since the June update, it has been intercepting calls in my contacts, & attaching symbols & letters to their numbers. PLEASE FIX THIS!

It's working With True Caller Also n Easy to Keep 2 Calling App At the Same Cal Log With This Call Blocker - Blacklist U can easily Blacklist Those Number By 1 By 1 and Allow to modify All Call Blocking In App By Setting. THAN YOUR WORK DON U Don't Get Blocked Number Call.

It was great until today. Doesn't work anymore! I had to uninstall it (which required copying my blacklist to notepad first). I then reinstalled it (copying blacklist back). It appears to be working (I can add to the blacklist again) however it doesn't block new calls (I have my preference set to only allow calls from my contacts and my whitelist).

Anything below 1 star 🌟 is recommended for this scrap app!! Neither the whitelist nor the blacklist work, this is a waste of time and data

Allows unwanted calls. I'm still getting unwanted calls from whomever. I may try another app.

Hangs up my live calls. This app will block the call that you put on the list but if you are on the phone it will also hang up your live call if a blocked call comes in while you're on the phone. Also, it would be helpful to sort the Blocked List numbers in the event that you accidentally put a number in there erroneously. I've needed to take numbers off the list and it's really hard to find a certain number when you have over two hundred block numbers in your list.

Bugs me that: 1. You can't make it not inform you at ALL about blocked calls. You can set it so it won't show notifs after blocking, but the phone still lights up so I still know when it blocked something. I don't want to be bothered AT ALL by spam calls. 2. I have it set to accept calls only from contacts & whitelist. I don't understand why it allows people not in those groups to leave voicemails. That's NOT a block! I still have to deal with those calls!

no issues,works great on my Android. prior to this app, i would get dozens of spam calls a day. it interfered with my professional and personal life. since using this app, it's now 2-4 calls a day and usually they are blocked. occasionally one still gets thru the app but I've paid for apps that didn't perform as well as this one. i do not mind that calls can go to VM, otherwise i would miss an unexpected, important call such as my grandson's school.

GREAT GREAT at last an App that does what it says! I know nothing about computers or Mobiles just wanted an App to stop unwanted text and phone call and is easy to use, and for once ( and I am sure it does much more) it does just that . Thank you call blocker. Please anyone that needs just a straight forward spam, text and call blocker please download this App.

I probably haven't figured out how to work this app yet because it's not doing very well I added to the blacklist and white list but I still get calls scam calls when I use it with call protect it works better. However the scammers are now using names that pop up that are not them on an until they can get an app so I can just block by area code instead of a full number that would solve my problem.

I used it for a long time, but the ads started playing video and audio which is absolutely annoying. I did not find a switch to start them with muted audio. That's a must have.

This app works on Android 9 when other call block apps I had tried did not. After changing the Blocking Mode to only allow my contacts, I force stopped the app and then started it again to make sure it had the new settings. Made some test calls and it works great!

I was just ready to get the pro, and I'm at the grocery store and this phone is ringing like no tomorrow with a restricted number. I have accept only contacts and whitelists. Unbelievable. Toot A Lew. The Embedded ads work wonderfully however. Perhaps spend as much time on the app as you did on the ads, you'd be all set. It's probably the ads that are meddling with your blocker

What I like about this call blocker is its lightness and above average effectiveness on blocking calls. My only gripe is I found out there is no way to save the numbers in the blacklist for future reference. Too bad.

It blocked the call as a test in the phone never rang but it goes to voicemail then that leaves a message then I have to check my voicemail to see what's going on and that's a waste of time show caller ID block works but what good is it if it goes to voicemail and it still waste your time it's still an inconvenience from what it supposed to do it should answer the phone without ringing and hang up right away without going to voicemail. Useless it still waste your time.

As far as I know, it's working great! I wish there was a way to get a pop up after I get any call less than 1 minute "block further calls from this number?" or if my caller ID says "Advertisement" or whatever I want, automatically get on my black list.

Some calls are blocked and other call are still allowed even after you put it on the black list. I kinda works... unwanted calls come thru on robo-lists and are allowed to call. I have over 300 calls on my list and they keep coming, there has to be a better way SERIOUSLY!!!

Too many ads after ending phone call. I would get three to four advertisements after I completed the phone call. I forced stopped the app and the problem went away. Too bad because other than that the app works great.

Absolute TRASH!!! I added, let's call him, "Ray" to my blacklist and blocked my blacklist. Then, to test it out, I added my work phone to my blacklist and called myself. The phone rang! So I double checked the app settings, thinking maybe I set it up wrong, and tried it again. This time, the call was blocked. This evening,15 minutes ago, Ray called and the phone rang!!! I should've known better when I saw the developer blaming the users' device in similar complaints. What a world!

I've been using this app for years this is the first time I had to uninstall it because the pop ups were terrible taking over my phone. Every time I got a call it popped up selling an app or selling something. No longer will use this app again it's a shame used to be a good app. But I have no time or energy to be closing all these apps
