Call Blocker Voicemail Blocker

The phone number that came with my new phone also came with 2 robo calls with voicemails every day. Altho i spoke with the co. And explained that the person they were trying to reach was no longer at this number - the calls continued. After six months of clearing these calls every day i am deeply grateful for this solution. Since i can't give you 6 stars, here are 5.

At first it did not appear to work, but the developers were very quick to respond to my questions. For some reason the app does not work on the low profile mode on my phone, so once I disabled that the app worked like a charm. Love that it has a hang up/no voicemail option since that's what I've been struggling with.

Only sends calls to voicemail. It worked at first but now its broken even though I didn't change any settings and my app settings say to pickup/hangup with no voicemail. And I have the galaxy s7 so according to them it should work. I've tried emailing the developers twice but I just keep getting an outdated automated reply with no response. I'm glad I waited to test the app before buying the paid version. Uninstalled.

When I first tried the app it worked just fine. However, as time went on, it would glitch and not block the call and eventually it stopped blocking the voice mail which is the main reason I downloaded the app in the first place. Now it's forcing me to pay for the app to do what it was already doing. I guess the makers felt like they should be getting some money out the deal. Smh

Not the best looking interface, but it gets the job done. This is the only app I could find that will block voicemails too. It does this by answering then immediately hanging up. Other apps would just ignore the call then I have to go in and delete the voicemail. This can also block wildcard numbers. I would always get calls from random numbers in my prefix code so this takes care of those spoofers.

I just want to say "Thank You Guys!". My phone is so much quieter now. And I don't spend 30 minutes a day deleting unwanted voicemails anymore either. I had several unwanted callers including some machine that just keeps​ giving you a long beep tone when you answered the call. Not to mention some agency looking for a woman concerning hot checks that I've been explaining to for months that they have the wrong number. Once again, thank you so much. Only one problem I've had with the app is it ruined my voicemail service. Basically now, I don't have any voicemail. I tried to call my voicemail service and it asked for my phone number. Every time I input my phone number it tells me that number is incorrect and then it hangs up. I can't even access my voicemail anymore. Can you tell me how to fix this problem?

*UPDATE 3/31/18* Support no longer available for this app. Emailed dev about recent issues (not blocking calls)... but emails bounce back "undeliverable." Been that way for months. Double checked I had the correct email address here... yup. So looks like this app has been abandoned without support or solution if you have any issues. This one AND the paid version 'Extreme Call Blocker." Too bad. Was a good app. ______________________ Works well so far. It's the ONLY available option in app store for HANGING UP on unwanted calls before they reach voicemail since Lollipop. So I can't compare it to other apps because they're not allowed by Android/Google Play store to hangup on calls. Not sure why, other than monopoly = $$. The pop-ups can be confusing or take up too much screen, so I just disabled them. Glad to have that option. So far, so good tho.

This app used to work all the time, but now it only works sometimes and I don't understand why. I also don't understand why the support team never answered my last email from last year or one from this year asking for help, but yet they helped me before. This is so rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I got this automatic email from some guy named John around the holidays, but never any help. Developer please advise and kindly change out support techs! Bring in people who will actually help the customer and follow through. Update on 2/28/17: I've just sent another email. How many emails do I need to send to get some help??

The 1st time I tried this app, it was working pretty well "most" of the time, but not always. Then, calls from numbers that were in my blacklist started getting through without being blocked at all & still were able to leave vm. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app & has been working since. The free version of the app only allows you to put 5 numbers on your blacklist, but $1 can unlock more. Given that it seems to be the only app where the pick up & hang up feature works, I was willing to pay the dollar.

Unexpected.... This app performed EXACTLY as described. When utilizing the Answer/Hang Up feature it does prevent the voicemail routing. Other apps I've tried failed here. Take the developer's advice and try the free version first. Having said that I am upgrading now.

Does not work as advertised. The number I have blocked still comes through about 3 times a day, however it says that in the "block log" that it has been blocked. Not sure what the problem is with this app as I do NOT have any other call blocker on my phone.

Useless. To all call blocker apps (not just this one: "Call Blocker Voicemail Blocker"). Call block is a FREE installed feature in Android smartphones, I (we) do not need a third party app to do something that can the Android OS can already do. One thing that Android OS CANNOT do is to block a call from going to the voicemail, and the ONLY reason I installed this app. It turns out this feature does not work, blocked calls still go to the voicemail. I've uninstalled this app, don't need it. As said, the Android OS already can block calls, I don't need a third party app to replicate the same. A VERY USEFUL and VALUE add is to block the call from going to the voicemail. To all third party app developers: get that working and you have a winner. Keep doing the same and go bankrupt, ie. no need for a third party app to do what the Android OS can already do.

It blocks calls kind of but NOT Voicemail. I got this app to block a confused stalker looking for someone named Kevin. I tried calling local police after I told this mentally challenged mam to stop calling me and he persisted. Turns out its not harassment if someone keeps calling you looking for someone else even if you specify not to call you again. Go first amendment! Yeah, no... It does not block Voicemail on T-mobile Android phones. Kind of false advertisement because they don't specify which types of phones it can block Voicemail on.

This app advertises that it blocks vm from unwanted numbers. That's why I got it. But guess what, it does not work. Also I contacted their support people twice to make sure it wasn't my settings but no reply! Dont waste ur time on this app.

Calls in the blacklist as well as those from the updated FCC Spam Report still ring through. Yet program lists in log that the call was blocked and went to voicemail - even with standing next to the phone and seeing it vibrate and ring. The app urges people to give the developer a chance before rating - even going as far as saying if we don't respond etc. Their website even posts to send them an email since they can't find you with a negative review on this site. So sending an email to the email address on their site or filling out a detailed contact form also on their site yields the same no response. It's one thing to report technical problems. It's another thing to follow directions and give the developers a chance. But it is totally a disgrace that someone will ignore you after all that effort.

I downloaded this app because I needed to block a number from calling my phone and being able to leave a voicemail. I checked out this app and saw so many great reviews. After downloading the app I saw awesome features but when I officically used the app and set the app the to not allow a certain number to call and leave a voicemail, it would block the call but the caller could still leave a voicemail. Is there something I'm doing wrong when setting it up?

It doesn't work. I had to delete a different blocking program with tons of spam numbers I had blocked, and it still doesn't work, and now I don't have my giant block list and will have to start all over... I tried emailing them with 2 different links they provide before I left a review as I don't like to leave bad reviews even if it is deserved because I have better things to do than waste my time on that, but both times I emailed it said the email address was not found. I just wanted to warn people that this may happen and hopefully someone else will not have to lose their block list by deleting an app they already have. We are a business and get spam calls constantly daily, and this is now a huge inconvenience that nothing is blocked now

Have to give a 5 as I haven't had a bogus call or voicemail since installing this app. I was getting 5 spam calls a day and my voicemail filled up with spam calls every 2 days. Happy camper here. Update If calls go directly to voicemail, try turning off WiFi when not using it. Worked for me.

I set a number to hang up no voicemail. The number hangs up but sends to voicemail still. Used to work but some reason it stopped

This app is terrible, limit 5 blocked numbers and with todays neverending spam numbers calling it's not even worth it to try and use this program.

This is the only app that doesn't allow calls or voicemails to come through once they are blacklisted. So no more calls from pain-in-the-ass sales people or any other people I don't want to talk to. They all get hung up on!

The hangup no voicemail setting works great. I tried several other apps without success. This app allowed me to adjust the time before hanging up which made the difference and didn't allow the unwanted caller to leave a voicemail.

Does not work as intended. Still lets the phone ring twice on a blocked number. Still transfers the blocked number to the voicemail even though " hang up no voicemail " was selected

Didn't work. Android version 5.1.1. Almost all recent reviews say it doesn't work. They must have broken it during an update them abandoned the project and everyone who downloaded it. Someone said they reached out to the dev with no reply. This app is useless. Nice design tho

Had a drunk family member CONSTANTLY calling up to and beyond 20 x a day and leaving absolutely terrible voicemails. She would only call to scream and insult me. I feel so free now!

Reading instructions and it says to disable the built in call block on your phone which I had not done with the previous install. After disabling mine, I am going to give the app another chance to hang up the next time my blocked number calls. Instructs also say to email dev for special steps if you have probs with a Samsung phone. I have a Samsung, thus emailed and asked and got nothing!! Noticed that dev also hasn't responded to any complaints/probs posted by other users. What happened? Zombies? The app will only "whitelist" 5 numbers. You have to upgrade to add more numbers. I am waiting to see if app does the hang up and, if it does, will consider the upgrade (assuming it's the "Extreme Call Blocker" @ 4.99). I say consider because there's obviously no support for this app.

I read the reviews and I see a few people having minor issues with this app.. When using this app it gives you an "Action" option after you type in a number, you'll have to click on: no call - no voicemail. Then you'll never even hear a ring. :-) Besides the fact that a person can still text, I grateful for this app.

Does not hang up the calls as promised, it goes to voice mail. Tried to contact support, came back as nobody there.

I have some old man (wrong #) that calls me 20+ times a day even after I talked to him 3 different times politely asking him to stop. This app saved me and the old guy from no longer being polite
